Come with your ears open, yes, ears. I know you’re reading this, but trust me, this review is meant to be heard.
Big O came with big energy, intention, and a deep need to ensure Ayva’s desires and dreams were fully met. And while the chemistry and spice were undeniable (because whew 😮💨), this story was about so much more than sex.
Ayva meets a man who truly sees her, who she is, who she’s becoming, and the freedom she needs to exist fully as herself. What stood out most was how intentional this story felt. This wasn’t rushed, shallow erotica; it was layered, purposeful, and rooted in liberation.
I thought 3 Months in Accra was my favorite L.B. Gaines read… until this one. This book explores sexual freedom, self-expression, and the power of refusing to shrink into a version of womanhood created to please others. It celebrates choosing yourself, without apology, judgment, or expectation.
Read immediately.
Highly recommend.
