Cute, fast paced Christmas read! Enjoyed Noelle and Cole’s journey. I love second chance romances & this was enjoyable!

When I read the synopsis for this one I imagined it was going to be something different, there was a wedding and a storm; however, the way in which the two of them being stuck together wasn't how I thought it was going to play out but it was in a good way. The close proximity between Noelle and Cole brought back a familiarity between the two of them that Noelle thought was lost 5 years ago when she decided to walk away from their relationship.

All Cole wants is to get back the woman who he never stopped loving and not have her run from him again without a real reason for doing so. While I did enjoy the book and I was happy with how it ended, Noelle was really irking my nerves with her behavior and refusal to really talk about what was going on with her with the one person who really seemed to know her best. It took an outside source for her to finally come to her senses but at least it happened before it was too late.

Im gonna be honest—this wasn’t exactly what I expected when I read the synopsis. I was hoping for a little snowed-in situation, but instead… this couple had HISTORY. Noelle fumbled the bag a while ago, and while I’m always down for a woman realizing she made a mistake, the reasoning behind it took me out. I can understand it, but baby… your behavior is not giving “I’ve learned anything.”Cole absolutely had the right to move reckless, but he didn’t—and I gotta applaud him for that. As for the subplot, I could tell the author did their best with the page count, but it needed more care and more space to breathe. It felt like something important that deserved to be fleshed out more.

Love the author’s lMMCs

The declarations of love from Cole had me in my feelings. This author always has MMCs who fall and/or declare their love so beautifully. Everything Cole said was beautiful but that epilogue was everything.

SN: the groom’s gift!!!! This is what I mean when I say this author’s MMCs are book boyfriend perfection, even the secondary characters!
