As M.M. Crumley I write Urban Fantasy books full of supernatural action, nail-biting-mystery and; laugh-out-loud humor. Why? Because stories, myths, and legends have always been a huge part of my life... As a child, I liked nothing better than to lose myself in a world where magic and heroes were part of the fabric of existence.

As my pen name M.M. Boulder I write psychological thrillers and murder mysteries that bring the darker impulses we may not feel completely comfortable with into the light. My stories are full of lies and deaths, but there is always justice. A type of justice that's not afraid to get its hands dirty. I write morally ambiguous characters who are pushed to their limits and take matters into their own hands. In my world getting away with murder has never been so much fun!

No matter what I write every one of my characters are real to me. They exist. They are three-dimensional beings who demand that their stories be told. If I were to turn away from them, they would haunt me; and so I don't. Instead I chase after them and write down everything they say!

I need more and I need it now!

How to cope with waiting for book 2? I’ve no idea…I just want to keep reading and I can’t! I have loved this book. Each and every page is everything.

I have tried, in between reading, to explain to my husband why I love this book so much, and why this authors writing resonates with me so much. There are moments of laugh out loud laughter, which is why my husband asked me what I was reading/why I was laughing. I’ve given him background and explained, but I’ve also tried to explain how much more there is to this book. How deep it is. How it looks at a young boy who thinks no one truly cares about him, but is beginning to understand how wrong he is. How special Tucker really is. I’ve loved him in previous books, but equally understood how frustrating people could find him. Now, I love him so much more…how brave he is, how true to himself, how worthy of love he is. Perhaps I see him the way Doc does? Maybe now, I truly see him.

Tucker's tale

I wasn't sure about Tucker having his own series and I was proven wrong. The worst thing about this book is that it ends on a cliff hanger. I strongly recommend reading Tessa's series, and of course Doc's series, so that the characters make sense. Overall, great addition to M.M.'s universe of stories.

Love the bravery that Tucker embraces in this book!! He’s such a good man/boy/ghost. Whatever he truly is! He’s my hero!!

Tucker is in over his head with this case. The good side is that he is finally figuring out that he isn't alone. He is seeing that the people in his life really do care about him and, by their mere presence, are helping him fill his role as The Ghost Guy.
