Ghost: VDMC Book 11

Rate this book
Taran “Ghost” Keir is the new President of Via Daemonia Motorcycle Club. A former Navy SEAL, movie buff, and ginger menace, he’s been holding the club together for the past year with spit, sweat, and sleepless nights. So when Ranger drags him to a wedding as a plus-one, Ghost expects bad cake, worse speeches, and maybe a hangover. He does not expect to fall for the bride with eyes like a dare and curves that make him forget every rule he’s ever lived by.

Becks Fremont has the dress, the ring, and a groom who’s already halfway out the door. When Ghost sweeps her off her feet, Becks takes a serendipitous chance on her brother’s best friend who makes her pulse race and her soul wake up.

Now Becks is his wife and Ranger’s ready to put him in the ground. When tragedy strikes the Via Daemonia, claiming lives and leaving blood on the floor, there's no end to the vengeance Ghost will wreak against those who caused his family harm.

The VDMC is back in this new book, focusing on Ghost, the new president, who’s trying to fill the big shoes left by the old one. He’s struggling to balance all the demands that being the leader entails, with the fun of being a member. When he’s forced to take a vacation with his best friend the last thing he expected to find was his forever, especially since he was attending what should have been her wedding, but Becks/Rebel is the perfect counter part for him.
The series doesn’t disappoint. I know some may be nervous about cheating (I mean she was support be getting married to someone else), but have no fear, there is no true physical cheating. If anything Ghost’s appearance just shows how much that Becks wasn’t really in a relationship, and definitely not a loving or healthy one, it just settling for what she thought she could. The connection between them is intense right from the start and hard to deny, building into a spicy (4/5) relationship.
There are many familiar characters in this book as it is part of a series, but new readers can read along easily as the author fills in and expands on different back stories, so you won’t get lost (although I do recommend the whole series). The brother’s best friend angle is also wonderfully and realistically portrayed (let’s face it no brother wants to image what’s happening to their sister behind closed doors). My favorite part though is the support Ghost has for Becks, which in my opinion is amazing. This alpha male, former Navy Seal has the perfect amount of softness in his heart to defend his girl with his words (especially after the almost wedding)and deeds.
This does have a bit of a more intense vibe than earlier books in the series, picking up on some of the darker aspects that have developed after Steel’s story, but still a great MC book. The way the author blends the biker high action elements with the softer couple/family scenes is chef’s kiss perfect. There is also a surprise twist at the end that was shocking. I thought I had it all figured out, but boy was I wrong and happily so.
Reader beware: there are some tough aspects (emotional and physical)shown in this book so look at the trigger warning, but the author handles it beautifully. It is discussed without glossing over the tough points, but also not overly graphic. I highly recommend this book if you’re in the mood for some heat and action with a bit of emotion to round things out. 5 stars. I received an advance review of this book from the author and I am voluntarily leaving this review.

The author has given her readers another riveting look into life inside the Via Daemonia Motorcycle Club. This is Ghost’s story, but all the familiar and beloved characters from the previous books make an appearance in this book. Readers are given a bit more history on many of the members of the VDMC, the club dynamics and the troubles they have faced together. Ghost is the new president of the club. Taking over from Steel has left him with big shoes to fill, a heavy burden of responsibility and the feeling that he is not doing enough. Everyone is aware that he is burning the candle at both ends and needs a break. To that end, his best friend and the club’s enforcer, Ranger is all but forcing him to go with him to his sister’s wedding.

Time away, home cooked meals, some alcohol and maybe a hookup might be just what Ghost needs. He never expected to come face to face with his dream girl, the woman with the sultry voice who narrates his favourite podcast and shares his love of movies. Unfortunately, she is also Ranger’s sister and the bride to be of another man. Both Ghost and Becks (Rebecca) feel the intense attraction, the supernova heat between them, no matter how much they try to deny it. Let’s just say that Fate or Cupid is working over to get these two together, even if her protective brother isn’t on board.

The road ahead is bumpy, messy and dangerous, but the two fated lovers find themselves building a future together with the VDMC as their family and support system.. Ghost proves his mettle as President of the club when trouble once again comes their way and his devotion to Becks also becomes evident to one and all. The club has his loyalty, respect and protection, but Becks has his heart and soul.

This wonderfully addictive book has my wholehearted recommendation.

Okay, I have to start by saying that I was very, very wrong. I was kinda feeling a little meh about Ghost and wasn’t sure how much I was going to like his story…. should have had more faith in Elise - She has yet to let me down! I was so wrong in assuming that I would plow through this read to get done and wait for the next one.

Let me tell you, it grabbed my attention and heart right away and it didn’t ease up until the very end! Even then, it still lives a little rent free in my head and I’m not angry about it!

Ghost & Becks are just amazing!!! I loved how this story came together and how Ghost knew instantly that Becks was it for him and luckily, it didn’t take her much longer to get to the same place. Things move fast for them and I loved it! It was right for them as was the bromance/friendship repercussions as well as the brother/sister dynamic that they all have to wade through.
Always the best side characters and lots to make you fall in love with them all over again and to look forward too.
I’m happy to say I was wrong to not be initially excited about this one, but Ghost captured my heart and I’m so excited to see what will come next for them and everyone in this series!

I'm obsessed with this series and these men, they have me melting in to literal puddles over here. Making me want to agree to anything they say. Like yes daddy.!!

Ghost is everything you really want in a man, loyal, protective, fierce, and will take on the world for his family. He took over as the new president of the MC and has put alot of blood, sweat, spit and sleepless nights into it. But he's also our ginger menace and a huge movie fan. Not to forget a former navy seal.

When he gets dragged along to a wedding he never expected to fall for the actual bride. Like shit, he just thought he would eat some rubbish cake, listen to boring speeches and get drunk.

But when trouble and danger comes knocking and blood is shed, ghost will seek revenge, no one hurts his family and gets away with it.

Wowee what a fucking story, talk about Adrenaline rush, it had me on the edge of my seat, jaw on the ground and not wanting to put it down. It's filled with loads, so much happens, and twist and turns like you won't believe. Such wonderful characters, storyline and plot.

Highly recommend.

Ghost is book eleven of the Via Daemonia Motorcycle Club Series.

First let me just say, it is a major red flag if someone doesn't like The Princess Bride. It is a classic and has everything in it for any mood. I will fight on this hill for as long as I need to. You'll understand completely when you read this story. I will say this person makes up for their dislike in a great way, so I forgive him and take away the red flag warning.

This whole group goes through a lot in each book and this one is no different. Everyone is impacted by what happens. We mainly focus on Ghost and Becks and their beautiful love story. However, the big picture impacts a lot of people and we will see the fall out from these events in the next books of the series.

This is definitely a great addition to the series and one of my favourites so far.

This one was a surprise, who knew Ghost was Kinky Dom !!!!! It’s always the quiet ones lol.
Elise has a way of surprising the reader when a character gets their story told, this was no exception. Ghost didn’t really want to go with Ranger, his best friend and housemate, to his sister’s wedding but he needs a break having realised that being president is not as smooth sailing as Steel made it look but then he had Jenna by his side.
He’s glad he did even he meets the woman of his dreams and a voice he recognises when she falls., not so much for him as on him and he knows instantly that this curvaceous woman is going to make this trip memorable. A night with the bridesmaid will perk him right up, till he realises she’s actually the bride and she’s marrying a jerk.
The twists and turns, butt hurt brother and a wedding make this a book you can’t put down.

Elise is one of my favorite authors this whole series is absolutely amazing and this book was brilliant
Ghost since taken over his president, he’s been doing all of the duties. He’s not delegating and he’s worn himself out. He’s best friend Ranger suggested that he came with him to his sisters wedding to Richie Ghost agreed to go either him .
Becks and her best friend were staying at her moms house she noticed someone asleep on the floor as so gets closer to him she trips over the blankets and ends up kneeling him in his privates and elbow him in the eye while she’s straddle him
When Ghost looks up he can’t believe his eyes and Becks heart rate goes up.
I would highly recommend this book and all the other books in this series

This MMC is as real as they come, no holds barred. I was absolutely hooked from the very start, fiery passion blazing right off the page. The chemistry between the main characters hit hard — that instant, magnetic pull that you just know is destined. Everything unfolded at a wild, unstoppable pace that only they could own. The twists and turns? they knocked me sideways! With each page, I was hanging on by my fingertips, breathless and desperate for more. This story is a fierce, unputdownable rollercoaster that completely caught me off guard. It’s raw, unfiltered, gritty as hell, and packed with adrenaline from start to finish. Honestly, it’s bloody spectacular — a wild ride I’ll never forget.

Becks and Ghost

Ghost is book 11 in the Via Daemonia MC series. Each book delivering another MC rider and his lady love. This book takes you on a wild ride and you better be holding on tight.

When new Prez leader Ghost takes a vacation to relieve some stress of all the new responsibilities and tasks put on his shoulders he meets Becks. The sister of his best friend and co owner of his bar. In a delicious twist of fate its her wedding they are at. When Becks doubts of her future starts bringing everything crashing down around her, Ghost is there to help her out.

I cant want to see what's next. Every book in the series can be read as a standalone with interconnected characters.

Good read

First I have to say I don't like Becks character and wish Ghost could have been paired with someone with a bit more backbone. She let Ritchie treat her like sh*t and would still have married him if things would have happened differently. Then when she's taken, she's just useless.

Now saying that, I did enjoy the story and am glad Ghost found someone he can love and obsess over. The two have found a balance in the short time they've known each other.

Despite seemingly repeat happenings (explosions, kidnappings), there's a good storyline with action and betrayal.

Ghost is book 11 in the Via Daemonia series and man oh man this one will take you on a roller coaster ride. Ghost the new president has so many responsibilities and when his best friend and co-owner of the bar tell him he needs to delegate some responsibilities and has him go with him to his sisters wedding. What ghost wasn’t expecting one the voice that captivated his mind and body was none other than rangers sister. what happens when the crap hits the fan and not only ghost, Ranger and becks are in trouble they are all fighting for their lives. A++++ 5 star read. I love this series so much you will too.

This was one of my favorite books in this series. I was surprised when Becks and Ghost got married so quickly after the book began. I was having my doubts about Ritchie with him never being around and it being so close to the day of his and Becks wedding but since Ghost was halfway in love with her already and it was quite obvious she was feeling something for Ghost. However it soon became very obvious that the main part of their story was happening after their marriage and that for them the story was truly the rest of their lives.

Ghost and Becks have an instant connection and I had to check to make sure that this wasn’t a novella! The story is so much more than their love and how they find each other. The VDMC has to rally again but this group has been stacking up losses over the last couple of books! I love that Ghost finds his forever but things seem to be getting pretty unsteady with some of the members…and the group is running out of single bikers to fall in love so hopefully we still have a few more books before the author closes this door!

This was about Becks and Ghost. Ghost was now the president of the MC after Steel stepped down. Ghost was taking on too much so Ranger his best friend and VP along with a few others had a talk with him. They had Ghost go back to Rangers home town with him for his sister’s wedding to have some down time. Becks was getting married to Ritchie but ever since she met Ghost she was noticing small things about their relationship. Ghost was listening to this podcaster and he loved it. The podcaster was talking about movies. So good as always.

Well, well Ghost surely has become a favorite of mine. This MMC is as real as they come. I really liked the relationship between the main characters, how it was an instant attraction, and how everything happened at the speed that is purely them. All kinds of twists and turns. With every page turned, I was on the edge of my seat. This was an unputdownable story that surprised me. It is unapologetically raw, unfiltered, gritty, and action packed. It's so damn good.

Elise hit it out of the park again with Ghost! This book was great! I love this series and the VDMC!

Ghost and Beck’s whirlwind story is a ride to say the least. All that takes place in this book is crazy. Have to say I laughed when Scar appeared and scared Becks. Also, the part where Becks and Ranger talked about how well Ranger knows Ghost. I laughed so hard. I could picture both of them and the emotions both of them would be feeling.

Another fantastic book! Can’t wait for Keys!

The next installment of the VDMC series focuses on Ghost, the new President. On an unexpected vacation, he meets Becks whose wedding he's attending. But Becks' engagement isn't all it's cracked up to be and she finds herself uncertain about her future. Very intense connection between these two, lots of side characters that I'm curious about (this is book 11 but the first I'm reading in this series so very intriguing - will go back and read the rest). Great read.

I’ll start by saying that this series is one of my absolute favorites — easily in my top three — and so far, it has never disappointed me. Ghost only confirmed why.

I’ll be honest: I was a little nervous going into this book. Ghost’s story comes right after Steel’s, and that’s a massive challenge for any character. You can feel that weight throughout the book — stepping into Steel’s role as president isn’t easy, and the pressure on Ghost’s shoulders is real, heavy, and constant.

But Elise Gedicke does something remarkable here. This is Ghost’s story, completely and unapologetically. Steel’s shadow never overshadows him. Ghost stands on his own, with his own struggles, leadership style, doubts, and strengths — and that makes his journey incredibly satisfying.

The balance in this book is flawless. The romance between Ghost and Becks is intense, emotional, and grounded, while the plot delivers real surprises, tension, and high stakes. Nothing feels rushed or underdeveloped. The relationship and the MC storyline coexist perfectly, each elevating the other.

This book took me through every emotion possible. I laughed. I cried. I felt anxious, shocked, and completely absorbed. It’s fast-paced without being chaotic, emotional without being overwhelming, and action-packed without losing its heart.

The twists genuinely caught me off guard, and once I started reading, I couldn’t put it down. This story is an adrenaline rush from start to finish — gripping, intense, and deeply addictive.

Ghost fits seamlessly into the Via Daemonia MC world while still feeling fresh and powerful. Elise Gedicke continues to prove just how strong this series is, and this installment only raises the bar even higher.

Elise Gedicke has the ability to pull you right into the story
her world. She is building this series one book at a time and it has me so invested in these characters. The skill of her writing had me as stress out as Ghost was with his new president responsibilities and juggling his duties.

Ranger drags Ghost with him to his sister Becks' wedding to try and get him to relax for a weekend however, this Prez falls instantly for her as soon as she falls in top of him and his nuggets. Becks falls just as hard. They definitely struggle with there attraction because she is supposed to be marrying another man. One that is always suspiciously absent a lot. Shenanigans ensue and Ghost gets his girl but not without more heartache, kidnappings and betrayal for this MC. How much more can they and us go through Elise!!!

Ghost and Becks are just perfect for each other and love each other so much. This book has it all, grumpy MMC, beautiful sweet FMC and the best spicy scenes (Ghost is so filthy and k!πky and I am here for it).

P.s. I want to give Ranger a hug.

I love this series and this did not disappoint. Ghost and Becks did get together rather quickly but they belonged together. I thought something was up with Richie but I would never have guessed what. Loved Scar just appearing - he is my favourite. I still missed Steel but the club is going into a new regime and Ghost has at last learnt to delegate! Can’t wait for more of this series.

Love this series.
Ghost has taken over as President and needs to learn to delegate.
To take a break he heads to Ranger's sisters wedding only to fall in love with said sister.

This story was sad. Sure there were good parts, but the death of good people, kidnapping and verbal abuse towards Ghost and Becks. It's strange not having Steel and Jenna in the stories. The club were still mourning the death of Melanie, Steel's daughter from last year, now civilians who helped the club members. It was sad. HEA till the next problem.

Ghost and Rebel

Ghost is overwhelmed and overworked, not that he'd admit it. Until an unlikely intervention and trip turns into meeting the voice of his dreams but the one he can't have. Will fate prevail or disaster strike. Fantastic read. Elise is a master at the written word and penning the nuances that others miss.

Liked it

Liked the book. Loved the storyline and plot. Still love the characters. Hated how the sex was portrayed. It pulled me out of the story. It lost the book a star.
