So good
The sports and romance story was real good with a little bit of drama. Now that is my kind of love story. Here's the scoop. A professional football player had full custody of his baby girl. His ex was a trick. He met the owner of a bookstore and fell instantly. Now... I'm not a fan of fat shaming, which I've noticed a lot lately in books, any way, don't pay an attention to the haters. Just notice that Kaeden only had eyes for Kyelle. She loved his daughter Mica, instantly, so she was destined to be his boo. It is a good read.

Love’s instant replay
I enjoyed this sports romance from beginning to end. Kaeden was not playing any games about Kyelle and was determined to pursue her and for them to get their happily ever after. When she tried to run and cut him off because of outside forces, he still made his intentions and feelings known and let her know that they were still together and that she was it for him. I loved how he loved her and how Kyelle fit into his life with him and his daughter. I didn’t like how Kyelle handled some of the situations but I could understand her wanting to protect her heart. I expected the baby mama to come back around, but not in the way she did. That heffa was diabolical and audacious with the stunt she pulled because how do you try and stir the pot and make this man’s life miserable when you’re the one who walked away from, him and your child?!
In the end, love always wins and Kaeden and Kyelle got their happily ever after.

I spent the majority of this book just kicking my feet & giggling because Kaeden & Kyelle were a cute and flirty couple. Kaeden was a little special too🤣But I loved their relationship with each other and their relationship with Mica. Kyelle got in her head a couple of times and pissed me off though. I never understand why a FMC chooses to believe strangers over the character of the man they’ve fallen in love with🙄 So I’m glad she had people in her corner who could tell her when she was being silly. And despite her trying to push him away, Kaeden never came off his “Ms. Ky”. This was a sweet, medium paced love story that reminds you that what’s for you will a)find you b)be able to withstand whatever obstacles…even the ones you create for yourself.

good story
This was a cute love story. I’m happy that Kaden was able to show KY how much he was in for their relationship. It wasn’t far fetched or overwhelming. I’m happy KY was finally able to see that her man wasn’t playing about the love he has for her. Definitely worth the read.

Real life situations happened and the responses to those situations allowed you to easily see yourself in that mess!!!…
Once Kaden set his eyes on Kyelle, it was all gas and no brakes!!!…He let it be known that she was the missing piece of him after his heartbreak and he was not going to walk away and neither was she!!!…
Kyelle had a strong and loving grandma that constantly prayed for her!!!…Grandma encouraged her and spk wisdom to her, which helped when she found herself struggling!!!…
The happily ever after was so beautiful, because it included Little Miss Cupcake, who was the light of her daddy’s heart!!!…
After Mi walked away, she made it clear that she was looking to live her life and be happy, but was in her feelings seeing Kaeden living his life happy without her!!!…

The author always hits all cylinders with her stories. Kaedon and Kyelle gave off those vibes of "I'm into you, too." Insta fire chemistry between the two. Kaedon went after what he wanted with no hesitation or regrets. Just had to clean up a few things that were getting in his way. A closed mouth doesn't get fed, and he absolutely wasn't letting Kyelle walk away.
It was funny how Kyelle became tongue-tied over first seeing Kaedon and at his directness towards her. He continued to keep her speechless. Along the way, she began to doubt her choices choosing him, but in time, things became clearer about his realness for her.
Little Miss Mica was too cute, out spoken, too grown, and definitely a daddy's girl. She was looking out for him (as much as a 6 yr old could). Loved how she became team Kyelle.

I liked this book but
I was quite enjoying this book. I was liking the characters and the plot of the instant love. But what I can't stand is the break ups in this book. Everytime Kyelle would see something in the blogs she would run. Now I know it could be hard to see but running every time was just to much. Kaden shouldn't have been the one groveling to get her back. It should have been the other way around. Because I wouldn't have been chasing after someone who obviously loves to run at the little of things. I wouldn't trust her for better or worse. As soon as worse hits she's running. This book would have been a 3.5 star for me but because of the break up acts it's a 2 star.

When Kaeden brings his daughter, Mica, to Kyelle's bookstore, it was insta-chemistry on both of their parts. Kaeden went after Kyelle and didn't let up. He was all pressure and all gas from the very beginning. Even though Kaeden was all in, Kyelle irritated my soul when she kept running whenever she read something she didn't like on social media. Kaeden showed her how he felt about her and she should have trusted him. I fell in love with Kaeden's daughter, Mica. She was soooo cute and precious. I really enjoyed reading this sports romance. You need to give it a try as well!!

Kyelle wasn’t a part of his world but quickly found out how public and ugly it could be. Kaeden finally found someone he could love and who loved his daughter. However, her faith in what they were building was lacking. So with every negative social media comment and pics, she ran like a scared deer. If not for her grandmother and best friend, Kyelle would have missed out on the love of her life. However, Kaeden had determined that he wasn’t letting her get away. Good read!

I know this was about the couple but I wish we got more of Kyelle with Mica. Like maybe introducing her to her grandmother especially with them not having much family. As much of a huge impact she kept saying her parents had on her, they did not once appear in the book, not even a phone call lol. I understood her being reserved to being in the spotlight but the way she kept doing that man pissed me off and I felt like she never considered Mica. Kaedan was a crashout but he was a good man and father. In the end, she just had a lot of her insecurities to work on.

An okay love story
This book had a good story line but the FMC was so annoying that it detracted from my experience of the story. The extremely low self esteem of the FMC didn’t jive with her background given that she came from a great family and was surrounded with lots of love and support with people who spoke life into her. She was savvy enough to open and run a business but lacked the emotional intelligence to communicate in her relationship with the MMC. Other than that, it was okay, Ms Riley is one of my favorite authors so I finished the book.

I loved a man who knows what he wants—Khaden definitely delivers. His dedication as a single dad and his bond with his brother were everything. I also loved that the FMC is a plus-size bookstore owner with a sweet relationship with her grandma. That said… the story as a whole felt a bit flat. Lacked depth, development, and that can’t-put-it-down excitement. The FMC frustrated me a few times, but she got it together eventually. Overall: okay story with some strong moments, just not my favorite.

I loved the storyline and little Miss Micah and her uncle. The supporting characters we lovable and funny. They didn’t take anything serious poor Evans couldn’t catch a break. I loved the advice Grandma was dishing out made me wish I had someone like that in my corner. Kyelle really worked my nerves with all the childish ish she was doing to a man she claimed to loved. We as women really need to get in the habit of listening and not always running.

Love a Single Dad trope
I love a good SD trope and Kaeden made sure he spoiled Mica to his and her hearts content. Ky was a little annoying to me because she presented as meek whenever Kaeden came around. I wish there was more confrontation or something in regards to his BM especially with that message she send him. I do feel like there was a lot of time skips and not enough background especially with Ky. Overall this was a decent story

Riley Baxter has become one of my favorite authors. The MMC is a professional football player and a single dad. The FMC is the owner of a bookstore. The two meet when he bring his daughter into the bookstore. There is a little drama that caused the FMC to question her decision to date a professional football player. In the end they do get their HEA💕💕. Kudos to the author👏🏾👏🏾

I’m an avid reader of Ms. Riley Baxter and pretty much love all her work. This wasn’t my favorite but it’s an okay read. Low drama and a man that stands 10 toes for you is always a plus in my book. Female character had me frustrated a few times but she finally got it together lol

SMH-Kyelle Was Immature
I never got Kyelle’s age but I can only surmised that she is young as hell. The stuff that she let bother her was insignificant. She was just dramatic for no reason at all. She almost ruined the entire book for me with her silliness. Kaeden was solid though.

Enjoyable Read
Kaeden knew who and what he wanted from moment one and that was Kyelle. This single dad romance was a quick and easy read. Really enjoyable story.
I would have loved more of grandma. She kept it real.

I really enjoyed this book. I found myself grinning a lot while reading this. Kyelle, (Ms Ky) was about to let the media make her miss out on her (Boaz) I’m glad that Kaeden knew he found his good thing and wouldn’t let up on her.

Good book to read
Love’s Instant Replay was a pretty good read. Maybe a little slower for some but it had good structure, good bones. Light on the spice, but that doesn’t take away from the story. These were two people in need of a true connection and love.

I enjoyed reading this book, but the heroine is very frustrating. She was really weak in the relationship by jumping to conclusions so quickly and not looking at actions or using some common sense.

the female main character was ugh
I really wanted to love this book but the female character came across very weak imo. The constant stuttering, the inability to trust at the slightest inconvenience. I wanted to love these characters but something was missing and its depth
