Molly McKinley has always been the easy one—soft-hearted, free-spirited, and content to take life as it comes. As the youngest of the McKinley kids, she trusts that things have a way of working out, especially when you don’t fight them too hard. In a town where her last name carries weight, Molly is known for her gentle smile, her love of chickens, and her refusal to take life too seriously.
Liam Carson is the exact opposite.
As Silver Creek’s only sheriff, Liam lives by rules, responsibility, and control. Raised by a father who believed discipline came before love and shaped by a childhood marked by broken trust, Liam has spent his life convinced that order keeps people safe—and that love only leads to disappointment. Especially when it comes to his best friend’s little sister.
Then one night changes everything.
What begins as an innocent moment between friends turns into something neither of them is prepared for. As Liam struggles to face a reality he never planned for, a quiet threat begins to linger around Molly—one she brushes off as harmless.
But Liam doesn’t.
As his instincts tell him something is wrong, everything starts to unravel. Forced to confront the truth about what he wants—and who he’s willing to fight for—Liam realizes that everything he needs has been standing right in front of him all along.
But some realizations come too late—and some truths can’t undo what’s already been set in motion.

Oh how I fell in love with silver creek from book one. When I saw the sign up I had to try and I’m so thankful I got accepted. This read took me all of two hours. This was my favorite story yet. The man Liam is. The woman Molly is. The anxiety attacks remind me of myself so I feel I relate most to this one! I LOVE this one!! So good.
I had the pleasure of reading this as an ARC reader and W O W! This checks every box. Banter between two in love? Check Family drama? Check Small town vibes? Check Happy ending? Check. Check & Check!!! Yes some moments are a little tear-jerky at least from mu point of view. But the words painted a picture of these ‘silly goose’ characters so well. Mackenzie- thank you for giving me the opportunity to read this before it hits the real world. You are talented. You are supported. You are loved.
Welp…. This was absolutely adorable. I adored the FMC Molly so much. She was so cute and funny. Her and Liam had this cute feisty banter between them. I loved every second of it.
SPOILERS AHEAD
Now Liam handled the news of her pregnancy (after their ONS), pretty abhorrently. I wasn’t sure how he was going to come back from it TBH. Well let me just say, he 1000% did!! The rest of this story is him proving himself to her and protecting her from a stalker. This isn’t an epic saga or anything like that, but I loved every word of this book and I finished it in one day. I’m definitely going to go back and read the first two books in this series.
I hadn’t read any of the other Silver Creek stories prior to this one, but I feel like I could still go back and read them without any spoilers. I love Molly’s personality - a girl who isn’t afraid to say what’s on her mind and does what she wants. I did not expect Liam’s initial reaction to Molly’s pregnancy. I am glad that her entire family had her back and waited for her to forgive him before also forgiving him. This was such a cute, easy read.
Thank you for choosing me as an ARC reader!

Finished this book in a day. And will continue to read other books from this author! And I will be back for the holiday novella.
My only critique is that is think it could have been a little longer So there was more space for yearning, groveling and leaning into that second chance or more to the suspense subplot. There were a lot of time jumps weeks to months.
ARC review: I was itching to receive this arc after getting selected and reading the first 2 books in the series. I loved the story and the characters. My only complaint was the book wasn’t longer.
While I’m not a huge fan of accidental pregnancy, I am a huge fan of best friend’s sister. So that made up for it.
I’ve been WAITING for this book to be released! It’s the 3rd book to her Silver Creek series and I read it in less than 8 hours! 🥹 The banter was perfect. Liam knows how to make up for his wrongs- that’s for dang sure! Loved it so much!
I was excited to read Molly and Liam’s story after finishing the first two books in the series.
This was full of great banter. If you love a strong FMC, this one’s for you. This book also has some complex family dynamics that throw a few twists in the book.
Liam is Jace’s best friend (Molly’s brother) and is the town Sheriff, while Molly owns the town bakery. Who doesn’t love a brothers’s best friend story?
I enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read more from Mackenzie Heart! Thank you so much for choosing me to ARC review this book!

I absolutely love this series and this little family Makenzie Hart has created! It’s the perfect mix of everything I love in series. I highly recommend this entire series for one of your next reads!
I loved getting to be a part of the review team for this small town romance.
Molly easily stole my attention with her wild child personality and her quick witted banter. Liam, well he’s a man in uniform and that’s hard to not love. The two of them butting heads and then getting caught up in the moment? Consider me a goner.
I loved getting to know both of them in their growth during this book, while getting to know some of their backstory too.
This was a quick read for me once I got time to sit down. The story had tons of potential from chapter 1 and I wish I would’ve gotten more.
There’s plenty of moments that could’ve been expanded on, and some glimpses of Molly and Liam’s story felt abrupt with no detail. I would’ve loved more detail, more depth in the moment.
The timeline itself seemed fast, we were jumping weeks and/or months at a time, giving the story an unrealistic feel at moments.
The few violent related scenes in the book also seemed like they were on the extreme side of resolutions for Liam being the sheriff of a small town. It felt like we went 0 to 100 really fast, without the dire necessity to be that extreme.
This was my first glimpse into Silver Creek and I’m excited to go back and read about Jace and Colt in Cowgirls Don’t Cry and Cowgirl Up 🤠
In all, this was a cute romance story with a little added suspense, which I can really get behind as someone who loves a thriller as much as a romance. The last 30 minutes of the book really kept me captivated, I won’t lie but through out the book, I couldn’t help but think about the relationship being between two teenagers instead of grown adults in their late 20s/early 30s. But overall it’s a good little fast-paced book, I love me a good accidental pregnancy
Thank you Mackenzie Hart for having me on your ARC team for Long Live Cowgirls!
This story is a brother’s best friend, accidental pregnancy story that follows Molly and Liam. Liam has been best friends with Molly’s brother, Jace, since they were kids. There had always been some sort of feelings between Molly and Liam, and one night, they decide to act upon those feelings. Their one night together leaves Molly pregnant, which has way more consequences than either of them were ready for.
Overall, I think this story had a lot of potential. There were a lot of moments that could have been expanded upon and explored more. A lot of important scenes felt abrupt without any real depth. The timeline and story also progressed at an unusual pace, things moved too quickly to really soak in the moments being had between Liam and Molly.
Let’s be honest, when you pick up a book with a title like Long Live Cowgirls and a tagline that screams "rules were meant to be broken," you expect a certain amount of Yee-Haw energy. What you might not expect is a deeply emotional exploration of generational trauma, crippling panic attacks, and a heroine who handles life’s problems by running away from the police while giggling. Enter Molly McKinley. Molly runs a bakery, raises chickens in a coop that looks like a gentle breeze could annihilate it, and handles her anxiety by accidentally lighting up joints provided by a retired schoolteacher. She is chaos personified. Opposite her is Liam Carson, a sheriff so obsessed with rules and clean creases in his pants that he might actually be a robot programmed by the state of Montana. Watching them interact is like watching a golden retriever try to make friends with a very serious brick wall.
The banter in the first few chapters alone is worth the price of admission. When Molly gets caught at a protest and tries to talk her way out of it by asking Liam if she's in trouble with "daddy," I nearly choked. It takes a specific kind of brave (or unhinged) romance protagonist to drop a "handcuff kink" joke to her brother's best friend while he's actively trying to enforce the law.
But beneath the laugh-out-loud comedy and the spicy closet-rendezvous, Mackenzie Hart sneaks in some incredibly heavy lifting. Liam’s backstory with his abusive father is genuinely heartbreaking, and Molly’s struggles with anxiety are written with raw, painful accuracy. Mackenzie Hart pulls off a brilliant bait-and-switch. She lures you in with the promise of small-town romance tropes and then hits you with a profound message about how humans are "incredibly good at looking fine on the outside while being on fire on the inside."
My only real critique is that the plot goes from zero to a hundred very quickly toward the end. We go from worrying about flickering lightbulbs and fresh lemon bars to a full-blown warehouse kidnapping and chloroform incident that feels like it was ripped straight out of an action movie. All in all, Long Live Cowgirls is a fantastic, hilariously self-aware conclusion to the Silver Creek series. It proves that you can have a story that makes you cry about the characters' deep psychological wounds in one chapter, and laugh at them arguing over whether pineapple belongs on pizza in the next.
Don’t forget about Clara, the weed-dispensing grandma figure.
ARC Read - Thank you Mackenzie for the opportunity to read Long Live Cowgirls early.
** I will say read trigger warnings. I do not read them and there was a heavy piece info shared**
This book is the 3rd book in the Silver Creek world and I was really excited to dive deeper into Sheriff Liam Carson and Little Sister Molly McKinley. Also who doesn't love a best friend's sister situation.
I really enjoy the accidental pregnancy trope and I know I am the outlier in this opinion. One-night can really change your life. I was shocked on the journey at first and it made me want to read more. To me it was a fresh take on the surprise of getting the news of being a parent and what you do with that info. Definitely not your Out on a Limb or Reckless accidental pregnancy sweetness. Let's just say I am glad Liam turned out to be the man I expected to me since book 1.
Highlights for me was Molly's dad talking to Liam and sharing more about his relationship. How their relationship was unconventional and unexpected. The world isn't always get date, get married, have babies live HEA. There are many ways families are built and you see that throughout this series. Grand gestures are always sweet and this one is really special. Also, sunset chasing sounds amazing and I definitely need to try it. Montana here I come!
What I love Mackenzie's books is they are short and easy to get through, but I do find myself wanting more. I would give this a romantic suspense lite. This can really come from me being down the Catherine Cowles rabbit hole currently. Her romantic suspense is A+. Without giving away the struggles and truly sad info we learn in this book I do wish we got more. I wanted to dive a little deeper in Liam's family troubles, the conflict in this book just seemed odd and not fully developed. (dead guy) never talked about again. For me something was missing when it came the situation with Molly. I wanted to see more of their relationship grow and they share experiences throughout the pregnancy. I was sad we didn't get any of June in this book. I think she would added another layer. I wanted there to be a little more with Liam and Jase.
I loved this book. Such a good ending to the series. I loved seeing all the previous couples interact. Loved the friendship between the girls. Their trio is so adorable and hilarious. I loved Molly. Girl is wild but soft, she’s hilarious, I loved watching her tease Liam and how he’d just blush. I gotta say the man messed up, I didn’t expect more from him based on the previous stories, but then again what makes a great character isn’t constantly being perfect, it’s have levels to it. Being good and messing up but learning from it and growing. He made a mistake yes but based on his traumatic childhood it’s understandable why he made the choices he did. I loved how he was able to open up, and how honest he was with Molly from the start. I loved his grovel. The man bought her a house!!!!!! He was so down bad for Molly! I loved how he’s this big strong man but blushes whenever Molly teases him. I loved how he was quick to do whatever it was that Molly wanted, whether it be changing something in the house or getting her ice cream or Chinese. Their relationship helped them both. It helped Liam learn he could choose who he wanted to be and that you don’t turn into your parents if you don’t wish it. Molly found a comfort and safe space in Liam, to help with her panic attacks. But she also learned how to lean on someone, finally having someone to help her and be there for her when she needed it. Now can we acknowledge some moments I loved that made me laugh. 😂 how about when Molly was telling the girls she kissed Liam’s cheek, I laughed when she didn’t know why and Cassie immediately jumped in saying “I know why, you like like him” ok and then when Molly forgave Liam and so that meant Jace finally could too, and Molly said “ok you guys can make out later” 😂 and omg the air mattress scene, I can just imagine how funny it was, the hissing sound, and this big man’s serious face when he realizes he popped it. Loved that part 😂 Loved loved loved!!!!

I have LOVED (with a capital L) the Silver Creek series, so there was no way I was missing Molly and Liam’s story. And can we just take a moment for the covers? Because… LOOK AT IT. This series has been serving from the very beginning.
Now, I’ll be honest, I was a little hesitant going in because the accidental pregnancy trope is usually a hard no for me. But I loved this series so much that I needed to see how Molly and Liam’s story would unfold… and I’m so glad I took the chance.
What really made this book work for me was the mystery and suspense woven through the story. It added so much tension and kept the plot moving so this didn’t feel like just another “whoops, our one night stand left us with a bebe” storyline. I also love that Mackenzie keeps these books shorter. We don’t get a long, drawn-out emotional back-and-forth about it all, the story just moves, and it works.
And the best friend’s little sister dynamic? Yeah… I absolutely eat that up every time. Watching Liam struggle between his sense of responsibility and the feelings he’s tried to ignore for years gave this story so much emotional tension.
Molly was such a great FMC. She’s a firecracker, but there’s a quiet strength to her that I really loved. I also found myself unexpectedly relating to her, which look I never thought I would with the trope line-up. When she talks about keeping busy to quiet her mind and manage her anxiety. Girl, same. It made her feel very real and relatable.
Overall, this was such a satisfying addition to the series. The romance, the mystery, the suspense, and the emotional growth all worked together beautifully, and I can happily say the accidental pregnancy trope did not ruin it for me (which honestly says a lot).
If you’ve been loving the Silver Creek series, Molly and Liam’s story is definitely one you won’t want to miss.
Thank you to the author for an early copy. All opinions are my own.
If you're searching for a heartfelt and charming romance, look no further than "Long Live Cowgirls" by MacKensie Hart, the third installment in the Silver Creek series. This book captures the essence of small-town life with its lovable characters and genuine emotion. Molly McKinley is a breath of fresh air—her easygoing nature and gentle spirit make her instantly relatable and someone you can't help but root for. It's impossible not to smile at her love for chickens and her optimistic outlook on life, especially as she navigates the expectations that come with her well-known last name.
Liam Carson, Silver Creek’s sheriff, brings a compelling contrast to Molly’s character. His dedication to rules and order stems from a tough upbringing, making him cautious with his heart, especially around Molly, his best friend's younger sister. The chemistry between them is undeniable, and their journey from friendship to something deeper is beautifully written. The way Liam wrestles with his feelings and the challenges from his past adds depth and authenticity to the story, while Molly’s warmth slowly draws him out of his shell.
The plot really picks up when an unexpected event changes everything for Molly and Liam. Their relationship faces new tests, including a subtle threat that Molly shrugs off but Liam can’t ignore. Watching Liam step up to protect Molly—and finally admit what she means to him—is both sweet and suspenseful. MacKensie Hart weaves together romance, vulnerability, and a touch of danger, making "Long Live Cowgirls" a delightful and uplifting read. If you enjoy stories about personal growth, small-town charm, and love that sneaks up on you, this book will definitely leave you with a smile.
I received an advance copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
ARC Review ✨Summary✨ Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️ HEA: Yes POV: dual Tropes: Cowboy, ONS, Accidental Pregnancy, Groveling, Found Family, Brother’s Best Friend, Best Friend’s Sister
Liam is the sheriff and Molly’s brother’s best friend. He knows Molly is completely off limits, but he’s always been drawn to her. One night things go a little too far between them and what’s supposed to be a one night stand quickly turns into something more complicated when Molly ends up pregnant. Liam panics and tells her he can’t be a dad, which completely shatters Molly’s perception of him. She always believed Liam would never abandon her or his responsibilities. When Liam finally comes to his senses, will it be too late?
This was my favorite in the series so far. There were some really funny moments throughout the book, and Liam and Molly worked well together. Molly has that classic youngest child energy. A little wild but deeply loved by everyone around her. Liam has a heart of gold, but he carries a lot of childhood trauma that no one really knew about. The story about his brother who died was heartbreaking, and understanding Liam’s past helped explain why he reacted the way he did. That said… he handled it really badly. Luckily he eventually redeems himself.
Even though the book starts with a ONS, the overall spice level is still pretty low. They don’t get back together until much later in the story, so there aren’t many spicy scenes.
I could have done without the mystery element. I’m not sure it added much to the story and it could have been executed a little better. By the time that storyline came to a head, Liam and Molly had already confessed their feelings, so it almost felt like an afterthought to wrap it up.
Overall, this was still a great story and my favorite in the series. I’m really enjoying seeing Mackenzie Hart grow as an author and I’m excited to see what she writes next.
Arc Review: This was the first book I have read by Mackenzie Hart and it was wonderful! I loved everything about it. Molly is a fun and free girl who has always kind of liked Liam, her brother’s best friend and town Sherrif. Liam is the complete opposite, ridged and structured with a sad childhood. These two decide to have one night of no strings attached “fun” that results in an accidental pregnancy. Liam does not take the news well; he is scared of becoming like his emotionally and physically abusive father. Molly decides that she will raise the baby alone but still tries to keep Liam updated on anything about the baby. Finally, after Liam finds out the baby is a boy and healthy (and after he punches his father and decides to have no relationship with him) he apologizes to Molly and starts to show up for her. At the same time Molly is being stalked: her bakery has been broken into and she can just feel that she is being watched. After the break in Liam gets a security system and cameras all over her bakery and house. At the same time, Liam has purchased a house on the edge of town for Molly and his soon to be son. After the Stalker returns and tries to shoot Molly, only to be killed by Liam. Liam and her brothers think she needs to stay somewhere where someone can watch over her. The solution; Molly gets her house from Liam and begins to stay there; with her brother’s suggestion Liam stay with her. That takes their relationship to the next level. Molly and Liam get their Happily Ever After by the end, with a twist. You find out Molly’s stalker has ties to Liam. I recommend this book; I loved it and didn’t want it to end. Thank you for picking me as part of your Arc Team! I look forward to going back and reading the first 2 books in the series.

Wow I absolutely loved this book! It had all my favourite tropes from a man in uniform, small town, surprise pregnancy, brothers best friend's sister and a little bit of mystery thrown in. This was a first from this author for me but apparently this is actually book three in this series, can comfortably be read as a standalone. I wish I had read the first two as I really love all the characters and the world that's been created. I will gladly read more stories going forward. I ate this book up and couldn't put it down.
The book is about Molly and Liam and the one night that changes everything for them. Molly is this over the top, free spirit, doesn't care what people think type of woman who owns a store where she bakes lots of goodies. Liam is a play by the rules, always in control, straight to the point man who's the sheriff of their town. Someone is out to get Molly and Liam will do anything to protect her.
Molly and Liam's relationship ended up being so sweet. I loved the slow burn. The spice was so good too. It was nice to see that a book boyfriend wasn't completely perfect that he could make mistakes and redeem himself completely. By the end I absolutely loved Liam's character and thought he was perfectly imperfect. He definitely would have me swooning that's for sure. Molly was such a character too with her banter and sexual jokes throughout she always had me laughing. The pair were definitely a ying and yang of soulmate perfection.
I highly recommend this book as it was heartfelt, cozy with some mystery mixed in. It will completely draw you in and keep you hooked. Even though I'm not religious and there's some religious tone lightly in this it wasn't too much either. I look forward to future books!
Thank you so much Mackenzie for the Arc of Long Live Cowgirls!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 Stars
Long Live Cowgirls by Mackenzie Hart was such a heartfelt and emotional read. This story has so many tropes I love, brother’s best friend, surprise baby, small town romance, and characters working through deep family trauma and they were woven together so beautifully.
Molly was such a lovable main character. She’s strong, caring, and determined even when life throws her unexpected challenges. Liam completely stole my heart. Watching him work through his past and slowly open up was one of the most powerful parts of the book. His protective nature mixed with his vulnerability made him such a memorable character.
The chemistry between Molly and Liam felt natural and real. Their connection builds from years of knowing each other into something deeper, and the emotional growth between them was so satisfying to read. The surprise baby element added another layer of tenderness as they both learned what family, love, and healing can truly look like.
What really stood out to me was how this book balanced romance with deeper themes about overcoming the past, facing family trauma, and choosing love even when things feel complicated.
By the end, I didn’t want to leave Silver Creek. This series already feels like one of those worlds you can come back to when you want a comforting, emotional romance. I have a feeling the Silver Creek series will always be a comfort read for me.
The way I devoured this book… 🔥 I loved this from start to finish. It starts out with free spirit Molly foiling an arrest attempt by the local sheriff… who also happens to be her big brother’s best friend. Molly and Liam one hundred percent have the grumpy vs. sunshine going on, and you know deep down Liam loves it.
A one night stand ensues and when they both try to forget it never happened, a positive pregnancy throws a wrench in that plan.
What I love about Liam is that he isn’t your normal MMC that instantly is excited about the prospect of fatherhood. He has a lot of trauma and baggage to work through to get to that point. Does he make bad choices, absolutely. Does he atone for those choices, hands down! And I appreciate the hesitancy that Molly has. She puts the baby first before fully forgiving Liam which gives this book such a relatable feeling. Things aren’t always cut and dry and easy to navigate.
This book was the final book in the series and I cannot wait to go back and read the first ones!
If you love:
𐚁 Small town romance 𐚁 Grumpy vs. Sunshine 𐚁 Brother’s best friend 𐚁 Surprise pregnancy 𐚁 Suspense
I don’t think I was emotionally prepared for Molly and Liam’s story, but it ended up being everything I hoped it would be.
From the first two books in the Silver Creek series, you could feel that something bigger was waiting for them—and this book delivers in the most emotional way. What was supposed to be just one secret night to forget their anxiety, their trauma, and everything weighing on them turns into something so much bigger… a connection that ties them together for the next 18 years.
Liam’s journey absolutely wrecked me. Watching him work through his past trauma while trying to figure out how to show up and be the father he wants to be was so raw and real. His growth felt earned every step of the way.
And Molly? I loved her so much in this book. The way she steps into motherhood and confidently claims the life she wants for herself is powerful and inspiring. She’s strong, grounded, and impossible not to root for.
Together, Molly and Liam give us a story about healing, unexpected love, and building a family in the most unplanned way. It’s emotional, hopeful, and the perfect ending to the Silver Creek series.
If you’ve been waiting for their story… trust me, it’s worth it. 🤍
Let me just say, I found book one on tik tok and immediately fell in love with the Silver Creek Series, but I was lucky enough to catch the arc sign ups for book 3!
To see it all come together in the end of the series was amazing! I knew the moment I read the excerpt for this book at the end of book 2, that I was going to fall in love with Molly and Liam. Her zero F*cks attitude and no filter were no match for the town sheriff!
Liam Carson.. this man didn't know what to think about what was happening in his life at first.. but boy did he show up and show out! He had a hard start in life due to his father being a complete POS. But he didn't let that scare him away from what he wanted. All he needed was a little advice from Charlie to realize that he could have everything he wanted and more.
Molly.. queen of snark, never listening to rules (they are meant to be broken right?) she was the target for no reason at all. She was scared to get her heart broken.. but where Sheriff wasn't ready for her. She was also not ready to be loved by him!
I am so sad to see this series come to an end, as it will live rent free in my mind forever! Thank you for allowing us to fall in love with Colt, Jace, Liam, Ellie, Cassie and Molly!
4.75⭐️ Rules were meant to be broken: They were broken once and that lead to Molly finding two lines on 8 different test. I love the accidental pregnancy trope so that is what drew me into this story. Looking at the cover you wouldn't think I had the box of tissues by my side during chapter 12.
I freaking love Molly and Liam. You couldn't fine two people that were more total opposites then these too. I giggle several times because of what Molly would say to Liam and get him completely fluttered. They were flawed characters and they were able to work through their issues like adults so it was a breath of fresh air.
What to expect from Long Live Cowgirls: 🐔 Best friends little sister 🧁 Accidental pregnancy 🐔 Romantic suspense 🧁 Grumpy x sunshine 🐔 Only one time 🧁 Shirreff x baker owner 🐔 Possessive and obsessive MMC 🧁 Smalltown 🐔 Groveling
You will want to punch at least one of the character's in the face. This is just a fair warning. Then you will swoon when you find out what all Liam did to protect Molly.
I will continue reading this authors book. I really enjoyed the flow. This one was just over 200pgs so it was nice not wasting a ton of time describing useless things.
Thank you Mackenzie Hart for the early copy. Above are my honest thoughts.
I had the pleasure of being part of the ARC team for this book and I am so grateful! One day Mackenzie’s posts showed up on my TikTok. I am in my “Cowboy Era” so I instantly added her books to my TBR. I read the first two books in this series, Cowgirl’s Don’t Cry, and Cowgirl Up, and instantly fell in love with Mackenzie Hart. Her writing is so easy and flows so nicely. You plan to just read a chapter or two but then you realize 2 hours later that you’re still reading! Long Live Cowgirls is a book that has everything you could ever need wrapped up perfectly in a story. There were parts that had me crying, parts where I was laughing and smiling like a school girl, sprinkled with a touch of spice! The banter between Liam and Molly just instantly made you fall in love with the characters. The way Liam finally comes to his senses and cares for Molly and the baby after everything he has been through! Ugh I can’t recommend Mackenzie Hart and the Silver Creek series enough! Easily one of my favorite series I have read!
“I’ll love you forever, I’ll like you for always, as long as I’m living, my baby you’ll be.” ❤️
This book swept me up from the very first chapter. It was exciting, deeply heartwarming, and had moments that genuinely brought me to tears. At its core, the story is about family and friends—the kind of bonds that shape us, break us, and ultimately help us heal. What stood out most was the depth of the trauma woven into the narrative and how the main MMC, Liam, carried and confronted it. His journey felt raw, honest, and beautifully handled. The twists and turns kept me hooked, and by the end, I found myself wanting to spend even more time with every character.
I loved the first two books and completely fell in love with Colt/Ellie and Jayce/Cassie. Mackenzie just has such a way with her writing and storytelling. I can't wait to read more from any future books she comes out with. I highly recommend this book to everyone!!! I am trying to make this review as spoiler free as I can, but I promise you will love this book and will devour it in one day like I did!!!
I finished this very quickly, and it’s easily my favorite in the series so far.
Molly felt really real to me, especially with her anxiety, and I loved her chaotic youngest child energy. Liam definitely stressed me out at times, but his backstory made it make more sense, and I loved how protective he was. He messed up, but he did come back from it.
The banter and small-town friendships were so good and honestly my favorite part. The spice is pretty low, and I wasn’t totally into the mystery plot, but it didn’t ruin anything for me.
You can read this as a standalone, no problem. If you like small-town romance, surprise pregnancy, and a protective MMC, you’ll probably really enjoy this one.
