Dave’s life used to be safe, quiet, and painfully predictable.
A lonely IT guy, a cramped apartment, weekly tabletop RPG nights, and not much else.
Then he bought an old book at an estate sale.
What he thought would make the perfect RPG prop turned out to be an actual summoning tome, and one badly read passage later, Dave accidentally calls forth a beautiful demon of domestic service who is now contractually bound to make his life better.
Which would be great…
if “better” didn’t also include imp infestations, possessed neighbors, disastrous game nights, infernal paperwork, and a pair of dangerously charming financial demon twins who absolutely refuse to leave.
Now Dave’s apartment is turning into supernatural chaos, his quiet routine is gone, and the more his strange new household grows, the more it starts to feel like the family he never knew he needed.
But when a powerful demon comes to reclaim what he accidentally summoned, Dave will have to decide just how far he’s willing to go to protect the women who have turned his life upside down.
Sometimes the best things in life arrive from the underworld.
This was fun, funny and very entertaining! I couldn’t put it down! I read it straight through…no sleep…called in from work…ok that last part was a lie. It was the weekend. The best part was I was totally frustrated with a book I had to put down because it was horrible and I picked this book up with the hopes of being a better book. YOU DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Can’t wait for book 2.
This book is very good and very funny as well. It was a 5 star book for me but then some of the things explored in the second half of the book (like MCs emotional issues and the issue with his boss) made me reduce a star. Looking forward for the next book.
