Hi everyone, I have been dreaming about getting back into the minds of Axel, Damon, and Caden. So here I am, back with an extended epilogue for all three couples in the Tales of Obsession Series.

The Tales of Obsession Epilogue was the perfect way to close out the series with everyone getting a wedding and a little slice of life. I particularly enjoyed the mischief the girls created with their shopping trip and the guys’ text thread!! 😂

It might be wrong, but I think I was most excited about the sneak peek at the end! I’ve been hoping like hell we would get a book with Amelie and Kai {insert aggressive fist pump}!!

I don’t say this a lot, actually, I don’t believe I’ve said this at all, but Drethi A. is an incredibly talented writer. In her dedication of Tales of Obsession Epilogue, I went from a surprise, smile on my face to tears welling up. And it was just a dedication! But her writing does this; she has a way with evoking all the emotions when you least expect it, even in characters that you would not likely think would even deserve it.

If you haven’t had the opportunity to read her Tales of Obsession Series and you love dark romance and retellings, you have truly been missing out. From The Great Gatsby, Romeo and Juliet, and most recently The Titanic, she has created the darkest, most twisted, and villainous MMCs and unforgettable plotlines. The spice is jaw-dropping, and the tropes definitely will make dark romance fans happy.

The Tales of Obsession Epilogue is a wonderful gift, as it allows readers to take a peek into the characters’ lives from the series one final time, in a special way. Oftentimes, with bonus scenes, authors lose continuity of the characters’ previous vibe. Or maybe they are just trying to be too cute. This is where Drethi A. differs from the rest, and her talent shines through. Axel, Damon, and Caden, as well as all the ladies, were wonderful to revisit, and it was so creatively done.

My chest seized as if gripped by a vise. The marble floor gleamed under each step Rose took toward me. I thoroughly enjoyed catching up with our possessive heroes again, Axel, Damon, and Caden. Axel remains my favorite due to his unwavering focus on Piya since their first encounter. Their story, "5000 Nights of Obsession," the first book in the series, highlights Axel's tunnel vision and commitment to Piya. Despite a prolonged separation, Axel remained devoted to Piya, relentlessly pursuing her regardless of obstacles including her marital status and her child. While his methods are not PC, I loved reading about them, nevertheless. Their story is on my favorites list and I have read it at least 6 times.

Damon also excels in the realm of possessive heroes, displaying jealousy towards anyone who captured Poppy's attention, regardless of the person’s gender. He ensured their bond through marriage, even though it was without her consent. Caden's journey to obsession was more gradual, but once committed, he was also relentless in his pursuit.

In this book, the heroines attempt an escape from their partners, yet their determined heroes prove inescapable. Also, the book provides updates on each couple, featuring passionate encounters, and offers a glimpse at the end to the next couple in the series, Amelie and Kai. Their story is partially revealed in the anthology "Hate Mates," specifically in Drethi’s short story "Angels Are Falling." I have wanted to read Amelie and Kai’s story since reading about them in Hate Mates and continue to be sad that I must wait until spring to read their entire story. You are so mean Drethi……

It may be the holiday season, but these overbearing husbands clearly didn’t get the memo to relax. Festive cheer or not, Axel, Damon, and Caden are still keeping tabs on everything their wives do. And honestly? I wouldn’t expect anything less. This epilogue delivers all the goods: swoony wedding vows, delicious scheming, crackling tension, and that signature obsessive devotion, all wrapped up perfectly right before the holidays.

What makes this such a blast is how fully it leans into the over-the-top OTT nature of these three MMCs.

The alpha-hole energy is loud, proud, and unapologetic. Meanwhile, the ladies are ready to let loose, push back, and momentarily ditch their ridiculously possessive men - and the chaos that follows is pure fun. The push-and-pull is addictive, the vibes are unhinged in the best way, and the whole thing reads like a wild, indulgent romp.

Rereading this epilogue reminded me exactly why these characters live rent-free in my head. Obsessive, dramatic, festive chaos? Count me in. 🎄✨

This was everything I wanted and more — three obsessed men, three chaotic love stories, and a whole world dripping in devotion, madness, and pure romance.

Axel & Piya – The OG couple, the blueprint, the reason this universe even exists. Axel is still the same unhinged psychopath, still feral for his wife, still worshipping the ground she walks on. Their dynamic? Iconic.

Damon & Poppy – Damon is literally the golden retriever version of a psychopath and somehow it WORKS. He’s cute, he’s unhinged, he’s so painfully in love. And Poppy’s wedding? Adorable. They fit each other perfectly.

Caden & Rose – Caden is absolutely gone for Rose — smitten, soft, protective, doing anything she asks without blinking. Their Indian wedding?? STUNNING. It felt rich, vibrant, and so beautifully done. My desi heart exploded.

And that sneak peek into the next book??? I’m screaming. Shaking. Already emotionally preparing myself. I need it like yesterday.

If you loved the twists, obsessive heroes, and emotional chaos in the earlier books, this epilogue is the perfect finale. Drethi A. brings Axel and Piya, Damon and Poppy, and Caden and Rose back together in one final part of their journey. It is satisfying and emotional in all the best ways.

She ties up the important loose ends and still keeps the tension and excitement that made the series so addictive. The characters finally get peace and happiness, and it feels earned. You feel their relief and joy along with them.

Drethi’s writing is strong and honest. The characters are flawed but unforgettable. The romance is intense and full of longing. If you followed the series from the beginning, this epilogue feels like a thank you to the readers.

In short, Tales of Obsession: Epilogue is the perfect ending. Drethi A. gives us closure, passion, and a wonderful emotional reward. Thank you, Drethi, for this amazing story and the unforgettable experience.

I've enjoyed this series so so much and this Epilogue was a fantastic way to finish this series off!!!

I enjoyed all three couples in their own books but seeing them altogether hit me in all my feelings!! I do have to say I think Damon and Poppy are my favourite couple 🤫 but each and every character/couple have their own fantastic qualities that they bring to this extended epilogue. I loved how the women gave their men the run around when going black Friday shopping plus the guys group chat had me crying with laughter.

Seeing them all get married as well was the icing on the cake and having Xander and Jordan make an appearance was nice too☺️ I really can't fault Drethi and her writing plus getting the sneak peak at her next book which looks really good and definitely up my street!!!

This was so bittersweet. I'm going to miss these couples. I'm hoping they will make appearances in some future books. Lol. I can't get enough. This was such an awesome idea. I loved that each person gets a chapter in their POV. These men are some of my favorite MMCs of all time. MOAT? New term. I'm coining it. 😂 I really like who Rose became. With her amnesia she really became a different person and I think for the better. She wasn't as buttoned up anymore. And I absolutely love how obsessed Caden is with her. But I think Axel might still hold the championship for obsession. Not that Damien isn't too. See? It's a toss up. I still adore Piya and Poppy too. If you read all three books, I can't recommend this enough.

This was a perfect way to close out the series for all couples🤭. If you have not read all three books in this series I would highly recommend doing so before venturing into this novella as the epilogue novella provides us with bonus content from the overall main series and then additional scenes which take place after the series.

When I say I was cackling at the men when their wives decided to go on a shopping trip and turn off their locations - they went absolutely bonkers trying to uncover where they were, and if you haven’t guessed it from reading their individual books then this would confirm that they are the definition of obsessed with their wives.

This is a well written, easy to read, quick story, with family saga, friendships, emotions, secrets, obsession, revelations, humour, and love, which leads to an entertaining, twisted, dark romance.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

I love a reunion, and that's what this is. A true getting everybody back together for a grand finale. We open with Axel and Priya's Christmas wedding, take a trip to Vegas for Damon and Poppy's in only the way that could be perfect for them, and not to be outdone, we finally get Rose and Caden's Indian wedding, so rich and lush and entirely theirs.

The entire epilogue is like reading a delicious holiday treat. Decadent, sweet, and and still sinful. While I can never get enough of this series and these characters, the sampling of the next book is the perfect taste of what's to come.

Three weddings.
The holidays.
And one do over.

Weddings, pregnancies and the great escape lol.
We will understand the last part when you read this fun and spicy epilogue of these tree couples.

Absolutely loved this epilogue and all the updates on each couple. I loved how short put packed this short read was it was perfection. Honestly couldn’t get enough of it. I loved each that we got to see the marriage updates the babies pregnancies. What I loved the most was the girls night 😂 the men’s chat was so funny they all lost it 😂😂
I also loved that we got an update and snippet on the next book and can’t wait for Kai

I loved being back in this world of super over the top jealous, possessive alphaholes! I love these dark & twisted men Drethi dreams up for us readers! Don't forget about our gorgeous fmc's that don't really have a say in their life choices, but I mean who really wants to make a decision. The men are just saving the fmc's time helping them by making the decision for them. They'll learn to love their stalker, their overly possessive look at her and die men!

I can't wait to read the next masterpiece she puts out!

The perfect little snack to finish of an AMAZING series!
It was so fun getting all these special moments, just a little extra from each couple, little snapshots into their future and the perfect ending for all the couples.
I have to say I enjoyed Damon and Poppy's wedding from his POV, that was definitely a highlight for me.
The little teaser for a future story (at the end of the epilogue) has left me so excited to see what's next.
