Nell has always been a survivor and she is determined to survive again as an Unclaimed woman with a stigmatized past. Just as she carves out a measure of safety, Captain Holden Jones—handsome, dangerous, and seemingly loyal to the Regime—takes an unsettling personal interest in her. Nell knows she should resist him… yet his every glance and command awakens feelings she can’t ignore.
