This was such an emotional story. Get ready for a love triangle with 2 men that would do anything for Lucy. Throughout the book, I was so torn on who I wanted her to end up with. Both love interests were great characters. Lucy struggled to find her own way and to decide for herself what she wanted. She was placed in such a difficult situation and she made the best of it. I loved seeing how her friend rallied around her and helped her navigate this difficult time in her life.
The highlight of this story though is Alistair's growth. He's a reformed playboy living the bachelor life when he gets such life-changing news handed to him. There are a lot of ups and downs with his love with Lucy but his redemption arc was so sweet.
I am excited for book 3 and after that last epilogue, I can't wait to see what's going to happen.

Closed door 🫑
It so hard to find closed door mafia or organized crime books and I always love finding authors that write it!
Accidental arrangements is booked two and follows “On the Clock.” I was cackling at Lucy’s best friend Caleb! While I really enjoyed the love triangle and two top tier MMCs fighting to win the girl, Caleb stole the show for me!
I also really adored the various recipes scattered throughout because I’m notorious for craving the snacks and treats mentioned in books!
