A chose your isn adventure book for adults! And romance at that! Sign me up! I loved contemplating the options of either insta love of yearning and pining and either way you get lots of steam in the end.
It's hard to summarize without giving too much away, but if you loved choose your own adventure books as a kid. be sure and grab this one up and go for both stories! It is super fun to reminisce about these kinds of books and I wish more authors would make them.
Thanks to Set the Mood Publishing and NetGalley for this eArc in exchange for my review.

This was an interesting reading experience. I’ve played video games in which every choice you make decides what kind of story you’re getting, but I’ve never read a book that left me in control like this.
While I like this experience, and appreciate the effort it must have taken to write a book like this, this was also the most positive thing I’ve got to say about it.

If you loved choose-your-own-adventure books when you were younger and now are in the eldest-daughter-disassociating-with-books-and-recently-diagnosed-as-neurospicy, you'll like this book!

I had a good time contemplating the choices, and did 2 different routes. My personal (it's a me thing!) issue is that I craaaaaaave a good yearning, and with the way this story/ies is set up, there's no time to yearn, it's insta-love and a lust every which way. Which makes sense for this book!

Can't really summarize without giving away info from the choices. Just buckle up and enjoy whichever ride you choose!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher, Set the Mood Publishing, for an eARC of this book, this is my honest review and all opinions are my own.

Note: I did 6 versions of this choose your own adventure/romance before writing the review (and I will probably do more). I’ve had so much fun and really enjoyed the choices I got to make, many of them as simple as “go to work” or “stop for coffee” were easy to see how they changed the story trajectory and made it exciting and engaging.
This book is advertised as a why choose romance, but not every path leads to that. I ended the story alone or with just Lucky or Sterling in a few of my paths I took. I think this is good because an inevitable HEA would lessen the choices and adventures. Also I loved the occasional CLIFFNOTES chapter option, it was super supportive when redoing the story multiple times.
My only struggle was that because of how many options the author provided us, you don’t get to watch the characters fall in love as much as in a traditional romance. I think it is totally worth missing some of that for the fun of the story and all of storylines created.
**Thank you NetGalley and Victory Editing for the ARC and opportunity to review early!

I voluntarily read and reviewed a gifted copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Thank you NetGalley and Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op — Set the Mood Publishing.

As soon as I heard about this choose-your-own-adventure I immediately wanted to read it! It’s been so long since I’ve enjoyed a choose-your-own adventure book and it brought back so many nostalgic memories … I mean not the content, of course. 😜

I’ve read this story twice now, with the ending of my first reading catching me by surprise so strongly that I immediately started reading it a second time.

However, I ran into a bit of a technical problem the second time around — the choice I made jumped to a section that didn’t make sense with what I’d just been reading. I feel that I would have enjoyed it even more as a physical book instead of a digital copy.

I still didn’t quite get the storyline I was seeking, so I’ll definitely pick this one up again. Clearly, I need to make some different choices. 😉
