"Our love was mundane and passionate. Soft and intense. It filled me up in ways I knew I’d never get if I’d stuck to the conventional route."

𝘗𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘴 & 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 I read Just Right in may of this year and haven’t stopped thinking about it since. So imagine my surprise when I stumbled upon a holiday short featuring some of favorite characters! 😌
As always, the love and care that Enzo, Sincere, and Rome show Goldyn is unmatched, and I loved returning to Bliss Peak and reading glimpses of their life during the holiday. I need another full-length book featuring these characters asapppp, this book made me miss them! 😭
𝘎𝘦𝘯𝘳𝘦 🤍 black romance 🤍 holiday romance
𝘛𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘴 🤍 small town 🤍 found family 🤍 fairytale retelling 🤍 why choose (mmfm)
I really enjoyed the original story, but this update was all over the place. It didn't give us anything in the way of Christmas besides some family drama. I wanted to hear about Bliss Peak being lit up for Christmas, the thoughtful gifts they got each other, all of them together picking a tree...i mean so much more could have been done. The mention of presents and Christmas movies at the end was an afterthought. This was more of an update of the polycule than it was a Christmas story.
Just a quick update after just right. It was a very quick read and I wish I could’ve gotten more. I love MFM books but this one was good too especially since it was always so easy, nobody felt like they were lowkey competing, they just loved each other.
This was such a cute and cozy read. It felt like I packed a bag and spent the holidays in the mountains with my favorite poly family. This was short and sweet with a hint of spice and the perfect way to kick off the holiday season.
I love that this was about the mundane aspect of living in a polycube. No crazy drama. Just daily love shown in many ways (through health issues, family business, family time with the judgmental and non-judgmental, time separated, time all of them together). Just showing up for each other. The best type of love one can give and receive.
I love this polycule! This was short and cozy read. It was great seeing how they spend the holidays and are intentionally loving each other. I loved the cameos and catching up with them made me smile and realize that yeah, Romeo is still my fave ❤️.
Before the story begins, Shon recommends that we read “Just Right” and “Heaven Sent” beforehand. I haven’t read “Heaven Sent” yet but still decided to go forward with reading this. I assumed that since this book is supposed to be giving updates on Lorenzo, Sincere, Romeo, and Goldyn, that I’d be able to piece together whatever I needed to regarding “Heaven Sent”. And I was right.
I liked the updates on everyone and that each main character got at least one POV chapter. Enzo had me cracking up every time he started fucking with Rome lol. Goldyn had me feeling so bad for her in the beginning but then I became relieved along with her. I feel like Sincere’s update was touched on only a little bit, but it felt very significant. He’s come a long way regarding his goals when compared to “Just Right”.
And after seeing that picture of Enzo, Sin, Goldyn, and Rome…I can see why Rome’s grandpa still confused Sin and Enzo after 10 years 😂 Them 🥷🏾s look alike 😂 And not one character looks like what I pictured.
If you were itching for a follow up from Goldy, Enzo, Sin, and Rome then this will satisfy for sure. Just Right for Christmas is a short follow up over the years from the Bliss Peak polycule that started it all. Shon gave us cute holiday vibes wrapped in moments of crucial intimacy that make it nothing but clear that love will always live here. The perfect holiday short with some of my comfort characters 🎄
Although I loved the update of Rome, Enzo, Sin, and Goldy I felt like I wanted more of a Christmas/Holiday story that had those spices scenes hotter than Santa’s suit. Don’t get me wrong I enjoyed reading and the mention of Goldy’s condition (as I went through that same thing a few years ago). I just wanted more into their holidays together, of course my spice, more aftercare and the way they cared for her, just more!
I absolutely loved this little spin-off… Knowing that my favorite poly couple is still together and very much in love brings my heart joy ❣️ This was a cute short read with nothing but love, devotion, companionship and more wrapped in one… Make sure to read “Just Right” first, so you can meet the characters☺️
I love we got a life update Christmas version on our favorite couple. Well at least my favorite couple. I loved that Goldyn finally allowed herself to be loved by Rome, Sin and Enzo. They loved her unconditionally and wanted to love her out loud. This was such a good holiday story.
Still going strong. That little bit of update gave new life to the novel of this polycule. That love still present the support of all and dedication to see everyone happy.
I loved this little short just as much as the first.. so glad to see the love between all 4 of them still solid and growing.. kinda do wish it was a full length novel lol
4.5⭐️ & 🌶️🌶️/5. I love when authors give us little follow-up stories about our favorite characters! This was such a cute continuation of Bliss Peak’s Just Right. Now I’m over here hoping she blesses us with one for Seeing Red too 🤞🏾✨.
This is a small check in on the polycule. Very cute. Love everything about it. I love how everyone checked in on each other. Also love that she kept Romeo for Goldy. Something a little different than her other book Right Side of Paradise
This was cute sexy follow up to the "Just Right", it was nice to see how settled and happy everyone was. Romeo seemed to be the last one that made peace with everything, and it was nice to see how content he was with everything.
YESSSSS UPDATE!!! They are still loving each other hard!! Love love love that Davenport-Wilde household!! It’s still 🖕🏾🖕🏾🖕🏾Goldyn’s dads wife and Enzo’s parents!! But everybody else is coo!
