This is a good introduction to the life of George Washington. The author makes the topic fun and interesting. His writing wasn't dry. He made George come to life again for me. I was able to understand him and his world better because the information was delivered in a way that was not boring. I enjoyed looking at the timeline and the Did you know section. I think that it was helpful in understanding the world of early America.
