Monster High, but also kinda Evil Dead? Why not?

I lost it when Frankie picked up that leaf blower, probably the most obvious reference. Like another reviewer said, a crossover between the two would be so cool. Hopefully we can make that happen someday.

There are sooooooo many puns in this story. Seriously, lots and lots of puns. It is a really good parody of the first two Evil Dead movies with a bit of Hellraiser thrown in. It even has Frankie saying "Groovy." It would be super cool for a crossover graphic novel where Frankie meets Ash in an Evil Dead story.

I am not familiar with the Monster High lore. I have seen the cool looking dolls on the shelves and since they are popular we ordered this book for our library. As a newbie reader to the Monster High world I found it an easy to pick up read. It is aimed at the young adult readers, but I enjoyed it for the humor and simple, but fun story.

The art is beautiful with a nice colorful cartoon style.

This is the fun that's been missing from the other Monster High comics. It's full of puns and tongue in cheek references, there's a certain level of menace without getting too dark, and it introduces a fun new monster. An absolute blast to read.

This was very cute, loved the art style. The new character is a sweet idea, and I'd honestly love her as a doll. Love the new lore too <3
