It’s simple in the best way: approachable, calming, and easy to weave into a morning or bedtime routine. I’ve found it to be a comforting companion for staying rooted in faith without feeling overwhelmed.

This is perfect for the busy woman—whether you are stressed with work, drowning due to maternal duties, or any other reasons—who would like to spend time praying to the Lord daily. There are 365 days and hence here we have 365 short devotions too.

I enjoyed praying along each day and this was perfect for me: a busy working mama.

I haven’t finished this prayer book yet, but also since I only do one a day I don’t want to wait a whole year to post my review! I am loving this one so far! Simple, quick, straight to the point. Exactly what I need when I have a lot of small children cruising around and they don’t oh …. offer me much time to sit and read for too long! But I love that each days seems to be able to connect to some area that I am struggling in or trying to work through! I’d recommend this one in a heartbeat!

Alexis Kanode makes prayer feel authentic and accessible by offering honest, Bible-based reflections that gently invite you into conversation with Jesus.
