si, si, si, sufrimos un montón y ahora nos queremos cortar la yugular pero necesitamos apreciar más que, no sólo la historia contiene magia sino que el manga también está dibujado y estructurado de manera tal que hace que podamos sentirla en carne viva.
Y lo menciono teniendo en cuenta que no estoy sonando lo suficientemente exagerada como me gustaría

A fun, whimsical fantasy they said. A lighthearted story they said 3 Tell why I spent this whole volume sobbing then. Goodness, we cannot catch a break or a moment of peace. Just looking at Dagda and Custas now just brings me unbelievable misery and pain. Why couldn’t they just be happy??? And Qifrey?? What do you mean if he’s too happy, he’ll turn into a tree too T_T DONT BE HAPPY BOY!! Real talk, they better save that man before he sprouts into a tree or I will it end it all… And the Brimmed Caps are moving! This is terrifying me…

(Side note: could be completely looking into it too hard, but the Brimmed Cap that wears the dark veil all around the brim, why does her silhouette lowkey remind me of Agott’s mom. I don’t know, the super luscious curly hair that Agott and her mom have are so gorgeous and always awes me that the Brimmed’s silhouette immediately tipped me off haha)

Me acabo de poner al día con Witch hat atelier, antes de que salga el anime, y lo he disfrutado muchísimo a pesar de que por momentos la trama avanza lentamente. Este volumen se siente como un punto aparte para dar inicio a nuevos arcos, lo cual me gusta. La relación padre-hija de Qifrey y Coco ha sido súper bonita sobre todo en este volumen, la confianza que ambos se tienen. Al final, efectivamente mi main ship es Coco × Agott, si me pones un ship yuri yo voy a ser la más fan y así ha sido.

También aquí se descubría más sobre la magia, sobre la maldición del árbol, y tengo la sensación de que todavía quedan muchos más secretos para los siguientes volúmenes. Mientras tanto, esperaré a abril para ver el anime

Un tome pivot pour l'histoire, le drame prend une place encore plus essentielle, envahissante. Shirahama est l'une des meilleures dessinatrices de son temps, c'est trop bien, mais j'ai peur pour la suite.

The arc seems to be wrapping up, the leech situation finally seems to be dealt with thanks to Coco and Agott's teamwork. However, a new problem has arisen.

Coco has grown so much since the beginning, and she's starting to be more independent, but with that comes her questions, particularly towards Qifrey, who suspiciously is the only one to know of Custas' true state... that his legs are that of the Silverwood tree, it'll only take root in places that are happy and tranquil...

Oh. *Oh*. I see where this is going..

Side note, Dagda calling Custas his son was sweet.

Custas turning into a Silverwood was very much not. Qifrey having the most powerful memory wiping spell, and saying it'll deprive Custas from the one place he feels safe- I know he's talking from experience or the future. Then him snatching the spell from Coco and basically saying his death will be enough to erase his sanctuary....oh I'm weeping. Then freaking Tartah and Ininia, the betrayal in Coco's face. Ooh look, now I'm sobbing. Custas woke and Tartah betrays Coco Okay, now I'm just depressed.

Another Brimmed Cap named Lestisse turns up, who's overheard all Coco has said about the Silverwood and Qifrey.

"Till we meet again, Iguin's Child of Hope" WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?!

Coco sobbing, finally having a breakdown...well overdue, but so upsetting to see.

Chapter 88. Coco finds out about Qifrey's secret. I'm...yeah, a mess about this.
"Some place with a wide open sky would be nice. I have a feeling my roots are going to need plenty of space to grow comfortably."
THEN THEY HUGGED! HE SMILED SO SOFTLY AT COCO'S UNDERSTANDING.

"So you wanted to know who I am, correct? Well, I don't know if this is the answer you're looking for, but I know who I *want* to be. A witch named Qifrey. The teacher to four fine witches. And no matter what the future holds, or what fate awaits me, I swear to you, that will never change."

And the Brimmed Hats are taking advantage of all the lies, revelations and change in perspectives to move closer to their goal.

"Let's go home. Our atelier awaits." Olruggio, I have a feeling Qifrey needs you so much.

Safe to say, this volume ripped my heart out.

Dans ce manga de dark fantasy de Kamome Shirahama, Coco, une jeune sorcière ambitieuse, apprend son métier dans un monde où la magie est crainte, et où chaque tome révèle un peu plus les ombres qui planent sur cet univers.

Plus la série avance, plus elle devient sombre et dramatique. Autant vous dire que je ne suis pas ressortie indemne à la fin de cette lecture.

Agathe et Coco, avec l’appui de Maître Kieffrey et Olugio, vont tout mettre en œuvre pour vaincre les sangsues-rideau. Kustas… eh bien, Coco va tout faire pour l’aider, mais cela va s’avérer bien plus compliqué que prévu.

J’ai retenu mon souffle jusqu’au dénouement. Mais ce n’est pas le pire à venir et ça concerne Kustas. Je n’en dis pas plus, mais ça m’a bouleversée. Encore plus lorsque Coco découvre enfin le secret que garde Maître Kieffrey. C’est bien simple, j’en ai eu les larmes aux yeux.

Ce tome 15 nous offre enfin quelques réponses à nos questions, mais j’ai l’impression également que nous arrivons à un nouveau tournant dans la série de l’Atelier des Sorciers. Même si les sorciers sont enfin vus de manière positive par la communauté, la Confrérie du Capuchon n’a jamais été aussi dangereuse. Je suis vraiment curieuse de voir ce que ça va donner. Et puis, il y a une phrase à la fin, et qui est prononcée par Maître Kieffrey à l’attention de Coco que j’ai vue comme un mauvais présage. Je ne sais pas pourquoi.

Concernant les dessins, Kamome Shirahama est une virtuose dans l’art de réussir à nous dépeindre avec justesse les émotions de ses personnages, mais surtout de nous les transmettre. Il y a des planches tout simplement magnifiques et saisissantes.

En tout cas, j’ai dévoré ce nouveau tome, aussi poignant que magnifique visuellement. L’Atelier des Sorciers confirme une nouvelle fois pourquoi il compte parmi mes mangas préférés.

pfiouuuu….. l’arc était GRANDIOSE, et se finit MAGISTRALEMENT omd omd omd. j’ai tellement aimé, je le sens dans tout mon corps. j’ai envie de le relire en boucle carrément svp 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️ tout apporte une suite encore plus fantastique, avec delà complexité dans le développement des personnages. et omd, c’est si GAY PITIE. maintenant que je suis à jour, je peux enfin ouvrir AO3 et lire du olugo/kieffrey (surtout, PAAAARDON, mais cette fin/revelation implique des tropes pour les fanfics….)

Solo diré que me quedé mínimo común múltiplo con el final. Y que menos mal que ya parece que salimos de la pelea con las sanguijuelas del tomo anterior, tenía ganas de seguir viendo avanzar la trama.
