The orc in the cave is supposed to be her enemy. Unfortunately, he's dying.

I'm almost positive this was written by or with the help of AI. During every intimate scene "her body goes 'specific' around him." I would have let it go but it appears at least four different times. There is also a lot of repetition. I would have dnf'd but I was so far in I just didn't bother. Read it or don't but I wouldn't pay for it. And I don't support authors who use AI.

Bludgeoned to Death By Verbosity.
The words loop around. Exprssing the same ideas and thoughts over and over till the entire thing starts feeling OCD. The words are pretty and well placed but so many needless sentances. I enjoyed the first quarter but by halfway through i just lost intrest.

Would be great with additional editing
The story is very good. The book could use a solid round of editing, not for grammatical mistakes, but to reduce repetition and inconsistency. Still enjoyable.

This was an impulse download because I've have tru!y entered my orc romance phase. The cover was stunning and I try not to choose books by art work, because oftentimes, what looks good isn't . this time not only was the book cover lovely but the story was excellent Ember a true practical healer who has seen the worst that people can do to one another looses a village she was helping to raiders. While gathers new supplies for her healing stores she head the raiders and hides knowing she can't help what is already lost. She flees into the mountains and find s a cave. A cave that already has an occupant. Thane has been in exile for 5 years, believing he is unworthy of care, A home devotion or respect. He's been hurt and is suffering from infection. For days when he hears someoen entering his shelter. He shocked to find a woman beautifuk, sarcastic and absolutely not afraid of him. A violent snow storm hits they are forced to keep in close proximity. Everything changed aged dying the course of the storm, binds are built, secrets are shared respect is given and healing begins both physically and mentally. Two beings that have been told they are enemies and can not be tighter defy everything and forge a bond so profound that nothing can tear them a part. Now they have to find a place in the world that belongs only to them . well worth reading. The wo!rd building is excellent thus far, the characters beautifully written. Beautiful love story
I adored this book. I was in a reading slump. Nothing could keep my attention and I left dozens of half-finished books in my wake. It was so nice to find a story that could keep my attention to the end. 10/10 recomend.
Just a few technical things I’d like to point out to the writer. I noticed a few things that bothered me. First, your character repeated themselves a lot. Especially back in the cave. I love the use of repetition to establish your character’s…well character, but it felt like maybe you forgot you already said that. Second, there were a few times where I felt like I missed part of the story or decisions didn’t make sense to me. Like, why our characters left the cave just after the storm passed. It was early winter, not Spring thaw. I know I would have waited until Spring if my shelter had what I needed to survive.
That’s it. I really enjoyed your world building, your characters, all of it. 100% a getting the next—what, 12 books. I’m excited to see your writing as it improves and to greet the next couple.

Ember and Thane's story is a slow burn, but in the best way. It’s about two people from completely different worlds—an orc and a human—finding something unexpected in each other while stuck together in a storm. The writing is simple but hits hard. It doesn’t try too hard to be poetic, but the emotions come through clearly. The romance builds naturally. There’s no rushing. It’s all in the quiet moments.
There are moments wher i feel like its repetitive but it's not major hinder. If there’s one thing, the story leans a little heavy on the emotional declarations.

Ok so this is my first book by this author and I have to say it took me way longer than it should have to read this book. I COULD NOT get into this book to save my life. But I’m happy I stayed with it, when it picked up it became such a GREAT READ!!! I was definitely gonna put this author as a NEVER READ ANYTHING BY THIS AUTHOR AGAIN! But after finishing this book imma stick with the series. Off I go to read the next book💃🏾💃🏾

Ember is a healer of her village. When her village is raided and burned down, she runs and eventually finds a cave that has a current resident - a very ill orc. Because of the storm, they will have to stay in the cave together which is fortunate for Thane as he is slowly dying due to a serious infection. Ember takes care of him and they slowly fall for each other even though they are different species. This story has steamy romance, danger, adventure and a happy ending!

Unusual romance!
I’ll start with the fact that Stormbound to the Orc needs a proofreader/editor. There are some inconsistencies and grammatical errors. I was very surprised by the emotional content of the story. I expected something less touching but, instead this is a slow burn that turns into genuine love and affection for the main characters, Ember and Thane.

This is a really example of enemies to lovers story. Easy to read, good story line and happy ending. The only reason I gave four stars was because of two things. First there was alot of repetitive wording and internal monolog. Second was it took forever for them to get spicy and when it did happen there wasn't alot and it wasn't with any great detail. Still enjoyed it though, but honestly probably won't be reading anymore of the series. I just enjoy a little a more smut and detail.

I dont know how I stumbled upon this one, but im so glad I did. This was such a cute and sweet story. This also had a really good plot and even had me teary eyed at times. The mmc was precious and my heart felt for him so much throughout the story. I loved everything about him and the fmc. She was kind, strong, resilient and exactly what he needed. Ahhhh its so good and you should definitely pick this one up.

This was a great story with a gentle giant and a chihuahua of a healer that I really liked. The progress of the story was peppered with the kind of funny I never expected but came to love. A great read on rainy day weekends that can restore your faith in humanity again. Because in these times, we need it!

good story
This was a good story with the potential to be great. The first few chapters were all over the place and not very cohesive. Although the plot was good, I found my interest kept wandering.

Beginning was a little all over the place. POV’s not exactly lining up. Doesn’t start to get good till about half way through but I just don’t care enough to continue. I pushed until couldn’t push anymore. Great premise but otherwise meh.

I can't take the repetition
I couldn't get passed the constant repetition. They literally repeat back sentences during conversations and at least 2 chapters were spent repeating how orcs and humans don't get along. I gave up about 30% in.

This could be an amazing story. Liked the main characters but there are inconsistencies and repeat moments and dialogue. With great editing this could be awesome.

Two souls finding one another in a bleak world
This was a spontaneous read that I did not expect to love, but it had an empowering spirit about two people finding one another and finding solace in each other. I thoroughly enjoyed their dynamic and their journey of self love and mutual acceptance. A very good read.

Sweet story of two outsiders finding each other. An exciled orc warrior and a strong willed human woman healer. Love in the midst of adversity and judgement. Set in a world of swords and no modern day inventions.

They are the perfect story. There are ups and downs, drama and action and romance. I LOVE Ember’s strength and no-nonsense way of looking at things just as much as Thane’s gentleness. A lovely read!
