Stormbound To The Orc: An Enemies To Lovers Gentle Giant's Survival Romance

Rate this book
Sarcastic healer Ember stumbles into a cave to escape raiders and finds a massive, dying orc who should terrify her. Exiled warrior Thane—all seven feet and battle scars of him—wants nothing to do with the tiny, irritating human invading his space.

Then a deadly blizzard traps them together. One cave. One fire. One fur bed between them and freezing.

She won't let anything suffer, even a grumpy orc who thinks her dark humor is deeply inappropriate. He's spent five years believing he's the monster his clan claimed, until this stubborn woman with gentle hands starts making him feel things he has no right to want.

Survival means sharing body heat. Proximity means lowering walls. And when she looks at his scars like they make him beautiful instead of broken?

He'll burn down anyone who tries to take her from him.

But when the storm clears, choosing love over their peoples' hatred could destroy them both.

4&1\2 fabulous🌟's for Storm bound to the Orc🌟🔥💖✨

This was an impulse download because I've have tru!y entered my orc romance phase. The cover was stunning and I try not to choose books by art work, because oftentimes, what looks good isn't . this time not only was the book cover lovely but the story was excellent Ember a true practical healer who has seen the worst that people can do to one another looses a village she was helping to raiders. While gathers new supplies for her healing stores she head the raiders and hides knowing she can't help what is already lost. She flees into the mountains and find s a cave. A cave that already has an occupant. Thane has been in exile for 5 years, believing he is unworthy of care, A home devotion or respect. He's been hurt and is suffering from infection. For days when he hears someoen entering his shelter. He shocked to find a woman beautifuk, sarcastic and absolutely not afraid of him. A violent snow storm hits they are forced to keep in close proximity. Everything changed aged dying the course of the storm, binds are built, secrets are shared respect is given and healing begins both physically and mentally. Two beings that have been told they are enemies and can not be tighter defy everything and forge a bond so profound that nothing can tear them a part. Now they have to find a place in the world that belongs only to them . well worth reading. The wo!rd building is excellent thus far, the characters beautifully written. I can't wait to read the next in the series. 🔥💖🌟💖🌟🔥💖🌟💖🔥🌟💖🔥🌟🔥💖🌟💖🔥

Ember is a healer of her village. When her village is raided and burned down, she runs and eventually finds a cave that has a current resident - a very ill orc. Because of the storm, they will have to stay in the cave together which is fortunate for Thane as he is slowly dying due to a serious infection. Ember takes care of him and they slowly fall for each other even though they are different species. This story has steamy romance, danger, adventure and a happy ending!

Unusual romance!

I’ll start with the fact that Stormbound to the Orc needs a proofreader/editor. There are some inconsistencies and grammatical errors. I was very surprised by the emotional content of the story. I expected something less touching but, instead this is a slow burn that turns into genuine love and affection for the main characters, Ember and Thane.

wonderful story

Takes a different approach to exiled orc and a fleeing healer from raiders. Who meet nd something wonderful happens. She heals his wounds and shows him he in important. Great world building of characters, lots of sarcasm and laughter. Feel bad for Thorne he has been betrayed and she shows him he is someone important. Love it. A keeper

I'm almost positive this was written by or with the help of AI. During every intimate scene "her body goes 'specific' around him." I would have let it go but it appears at least four different times. There is also a lot of repetition. I would have dnf'd but I was so far in I just didn't bother. Read it or don't but I wouldn't pay for it. And I don't support authors who use AI.

good story

This was a good story with the potential to be great. The first few chapters were all over the place and not very cohesive. Although the plot was good, I found my interest kept wandering.

DNF

Beginning was a little all over the place. POV’s not exactly lining up. Doesn’t start to get good till about half way through but I just don’t care enough to continue. I pushed until couldn’t push anymore. Great premise but otherwise meh.

Would be great with additional editing

The story is very good. The book could use a solid round of editing, not for grammatical mistakes, but to reduce repetition and inconsistency. Still enjoyable.

Good read🌧🌨

Ember is a healer who ran from raiders. She is caught in a snowstorm but stumbles into a cave. Thane is already in the cave but he has been injured by a bear. Adventure awaits them but they partner together. Enjoy

I can't take the repetition

I couldn't get passed the constant repetition. They literally repeat back sentences during conversations and at least 2 chapters were spent repeating how orcs and humans don't get along. I gave up about 30% in.

needs a great editor

This could be an amazing story. Liked the main characters but there are inconsistencies and repeat moments and dialogue. With great editing this could be awesome.

Beyond boring, so repetitive about being a healer, being exiled and the size difference. I read up to 56% and the entire book is about only those 3 topics on repeat. Nothing else!

Captivating

I really enjoyed this story. The MCs relationship feels like a sanctuary of peace, healing and hope surrounded by a storm of danger - weather, illness, raiders, and prejudice.
