I thought my life was fairly boring…until I died. Now death—that’s fucking boring. At least it is when you’re trapped inside the same four walls day in and day out for half a century and counting. Sometimes the people who live in my house are entertaining, but it’s been vacant for months…that is, until now.
I have no idea who she is, but we’re drawn to each other like moths to a flame. When she touches me, I feel it! Our connection breathes life into me, and I’ll do anything to keep her. Anything.
Trissa
Dead parents? Check. Crippling anxiety with a debilitating fear of vehicles, and a butt-load of unresolved trauma? Check. Douchebag ex-boyfriend? Check. Forced to live in a giant Victorian house haunted by a hot ghost who I plan to ride until the sunsets (and then do it again)? Check!
A few slight problems, though. To get my happily ever after, I have to unveil my ghost, uncover a magical conspiracy, and confront our pasts. I’m not worried… I can be very persuasive.
This steamy paranormal romance follows Trissa Wilde, a young woman incapacitated by her fear of cars, who struggles to connect after the death of her parents. Freshly graduated and at risk of losing her inheritance if she doesn’t comply, she moves into a beautiful old Victorian, sight un-seen. Her quaint new home comes fully furnished—sinfully attractive ghost included! Their immediate supernatural connection allows him to become corporeal, igniting a passionate and forbidden romance that transcends the boundaries of life and death. As their bond strengthens, they work together with the help of some otherworldly friends to break the spell tethering Cian to the house…but will the cost of changing fate be worth the risks? Haunt My Halls is a moderate to high spice, effervescent erotic love story that defies the confines of the afterlife!
Well good lord hotness galore 🥵🥵🥵 heavy on the spice and heavy on the hottie! I love the paranormal aspect of this. It was well done and what I expected a certain book i read that was disappointing before. I adore Trissa and she accepts things maybe a little too easily but with Cian's looks I dont blame her one bit. As weird as it is to say, they work as a couple
I am quite unwell, but for the best reasons 😭😭😭 I don't even know what to do with all these feelings. Trissa is a 24 year old shut in that is literally just trying to survive. After losing her parents in a terrible accident she has become controlled by fear and can't leave the house, let alone get into a car to go somewhere if she could. When her plans change in accordance to her inheritance Trissa finds herself in the most beautiful antique house. Only issue? Her best friend says it's haunted. Not bad enough? The ghost has the hots for Trissa and can't seem to stay away. Cain was 24 when he was murdered back in the 70s. His soul is bound to his house, but not because of his violent death. Because of his best friend that was a witch and her blood magic gone bad. Or did it?
"Maybe I can be the reason he feels free." omg stop it right this instant! These two were SO cute and their stories were so heartbreakingly beautiful. I don't like the miscommunication trope and I was literally yelling to myself as I was reading because omg if you would just TALK to her sir 😤🤣 but it was needed for them to come together they way they do and for them to overcome issues that had individually. I absolutely love the backstory and the connection they were unaware they had. The action at the end was definitely unexpected and had me in tears but the end made it completely worth it 😩 I am SO pumped for Seth's story and I really hope Ollie plays a big role in it too! Then maybe if we're lucky we'll get Gabbi and her Chupacabra's story too! 😂🤞
I love when a story has a lot of emotional stuff going on and it's balanced with pure filth. The chemistry between these two was fan worthy from the drug induced couch time all the way through to the ecto-vines 🥵🥵🥵
**ARC Review** This book gave me so much more than what thought I wanted/needed in a paranormal spicy romance! Trissa, the FMC, was someone who touched my heart and soul from the beginning. She’s a tough cookie even with her own insecurities and phobias. I love her spunk. Who else can move into a haunted house and not run screaming from a face to face encounter with a ghost, albeit a very handsome one! Cian is trapped in the house with not much to do except watch the people who move in and out of his house, that is until Trissa. I loved watching him grow as a spirit. And try out some new abilities. I will never be able to think of tentacles without blushing! Lorna Grimm wrote a beautiful masterpiece. It is very spice heavy but in a very unique and exciting way. I was excited to get into a Casper retelling and fell in love with the characters - Even the side kicks. I really need to learn more about Seth, Ollie and Gabby.
After a miserable car ride with her a$$hole ex-boyfriend, Trissa arrives at her new home. Not expecting much, she can't believe her luck when an incredibly hot ghost shows up within the first hour of her arrival. Maybe being stuck there for the foreseeable future isn't going to be so bad.
Cian has been trapped as a ghost in this house for the past 50 years. Tethered by a magical pact he can't escape, he has nothing to do but contend with a string of subpar human roommates. That's until Trissa shows up and gives him a reason to manifest.
Haunt My Halls is a sweet and spicy paranormal romance novella. It's heavy on the spice with a cute plot to carry it along and bring our MCs together. I recommend this book to anyone who prefers their ghostly visitors h0rny rather than vengeful
Trissa and Cian are two very interesting characters. You would think they wouldn’t mesh but they are simply a perfect fit.
This book is so spicy hot, tentacles 🥵 say no more, and the way they worship each others bodies is delicious!
The ending felt a little rushed and the whole thing with Kyle didn’t really make sense to me, he shouldn’t have been brought back but I also see why it had to happen to carry the story along I just wish that it could’ve been done without him.
Overall I really enjoyed it! Thank you to Lorna Grimm for giving me the opportunity to try out your work! Definitely will be reading more as they come in the future… VERY excited about who book 2 is going to be about! (Probably my fave character)

Ectoplasm tentacles. That’s really all the review I need to write to explain my rating, but let me expand.
This made me happy. It was a glorious love story between a ghost and a human with a fabulous cast of side characters, human and paranormal, and an evil ex who is comically not self-aware and I delighted in his downfall.
This is not a short smutty novella. It’s a fully fleshed book with an established magic system, character backstories, a well crafted world and deep emotional romantic, friendship and familial connections. It also has EXCELLENT spice.
I absolutely flew through this book and I had a great time doing it. I will absolutely read the next one.
I connected immediately with the FMC (Trissa). She’s a tough, curvy, beautiful soul with trauma. She’s all around someone I would totally want to be friends with. The second the main characters meet is explosive! The internal conversations of both Trisha and Cian (MMC) are so relatable!! I love the writing style. The author keeps you interested while giving backstory and getting to know the characters. I truly loved this book. I finished it in a day! The story was superb and unique. The spice was on point. Overall amazing!
Trissa is the FMC. She has a lot of phobias since her parents died in a car accident. Cian is the MMC and a ghost. He died 50 years ago. His friend was a witch and performed blood magic to save his soul.
Trissa moves into Cian’s house. He can touch and talk to her. Gabbi (her best friend) tries to help her see her worth. Seth (his best friend) helps them with the blood magic. I don’t want to spoil anything but I had so much fun reading this book. I cannot wait for Seth’s book.
Lots of ghost sex. Somno Occult
What more can you ask for? Tentacles maybe. Poor Sybil and her cannoli.
I was sucked in by the premise of this book. I loved the movie Casper as a kid and to read what it could have been (if there were older obvi because of some of the spice) was something that I wanted.
I felt for both the FMC and MMC. Trissa is an orphan with phobias and a crappy "boyfriend" if you could call him that. Cian is a ghost who is trapped in his former house. They find each other and love blooms.
If you like paranormal, Casper, a lot of spice with plot, then you should definitely check this out.
This book hooked me from the first few pages and honestly ended up being so much more than I thought it would. I loved the story so much and it does not skimp on the sexiness while also telling such a good story. I absolutely cannot wait for more from this author and to read more about my new fictional beu Seth. This story is like grown up Casper, HBO edition and I couldn't get enough. definitely would highly recommend!!!
I love a good book with some smut and spice, but what if I told you this one had a puzzle to solve throughout. Clues are getting dropped left and right for Trissa and Cian. There’s one question we have to solve: How do we break the spell Cian is under? Bound by blood magic, Cian is locked to his childhood home. Trissa was deeded the house, together they’re figuring out how to set him free while falling in love with each other. (Imagine Danny Phantom)😍😍
I actually ended up loving the plot and the story line. It’s VERY heavy on smut but eventually it sucks you into the plot and lives of the characters. The middle of the book had me in a chokehold before finding out what happened. I don’t want to spoil it too much in the review and ruin it. I am shocked of how much I actually liked the grim reaper character and can’t wait to follow his story.
ARC read: I absolutely loved this book it is a Casper retelling. This book is absolutely amazing i finished it in one day. It’s so addictive i couldn’t put down. I was laughing, I got mad/ annoyed by a certain character. The banter was everything. The spice in this book was amazing it had me fanning myself. I can’t wait to read more books by this author.
Magical, paranormal, spicy, and absolute fun. Spice aside, I found the writing fantastic. The characters, setting, and plot were solid. Everything pulled together so well at the end. The magic and how it all intertwined were beautifully portrayed. I'm excited to follow these fun characters into another tale and learn more about the paranormal in the greater universe of the story.
This was intense on the feelings and I loved it! I love how this author pulled so much out of my emotions especially with this being a debut novel! Amazing job well done! The spice was also top level and I'm here for that as well! Just a few words id have the author remove as they are cringy.
This book is a romp! It really does have everything: a funny FMC, seggsy ghost, action, spice... what else could you possibly ask for? When a book starts with a paranormal meet-cute like this one.... that's it, there's no going back.
Love, shut and paranormals? I freaking love this book! The sex was wild, the story was awesome and the characters were just too fun. I cannot wait for the next book to come out. I need more Seth!
Not my normal read but enjoyed it very much! The book kept the reader interested and curious to see what the next chapter would reveal. I would highly recommend it.
📚ARC REVIEW📚 I love retellings, especially modern day and spicy. When I heard about a sort of Casper retelling with lots of spice, I was immediately intrigued. This story pulled me in right away. I loved the multi POVs, including side character POV. The touch of mystery to this story made it all the more enticing. This is definitely one of the more spicy books I've read, which I didn't mind, but there are some things in it that some people may not be okay with, so just check the triggers/kinks/tropes/etc before reading. I think this was a really enjoyable and easy read from a break out author and I can't wait to read the next book next year! I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
