Sutton Snow just wanted a quiet Christmas. House-sitting a wealthy family’s mountain home sounded simple enough...clean, water the christmas tree, and absolutely no guests.
Then a snowstorm rolled in. And so did Heaven Oakley.
Fresh off a broken engagement, Heaven escapes to her brother’s house to avoid all things Christmas. But when she ends up stranded with Sutton instead, an awkward mix-up turns into something warm, unexpected, and real.
Between late-night cocoa, laughter by the fire, and tension that melts faster than snow, Sutton and Heaven discover that sometimes love finds you when you’re completely snowed in.
Good spicy read. I enjoyed reading about the characters and what caused them to be in the same place before Christmas. Another great read from Evie Daniels.
Snowed In for the Holidays delivers that warm-and-cozy, soft-but-slightly-chaotic energy that only a grumpy x sunshine sapphic romance can bring. This novella gives you two women who couldn’t be more different—one radiant as Christmas lights, the other colder than the snowstorm trapping them together—yet somehow, their hearts thaw exactly where they’re meant to.
This story feels like gingerbread kisses, sharp banter warming in front of a crackling fire, and that addictive tension of two guarded women learning to let each other in. The sunshine brings joy, softness, and holiday cheer into every room she walks into. The grumpy love interest? She’s all side-eye, sarcasm, closed-off emotions… until forced proximity turns her walls into melting snow.
And whew—when the storm hits, so do the feelings.
Every moment between them crackles with quiet tenderness and unexpected vulnerability. What starts as irritation turns into comfort. What begins as emotional distance becomes a closeness they can’t deny. The slow unfreezing of the grumpy’s heart? SO CUTE. SO SATISFYING.
If you love: ✨ Girl-love romance ✨ Forced proximity ✨ Grumpy x sunshine tension ✨ Cozy holiday vibes ✨ Characters learning to choose love again
…then this novella will wrap you up like a warm blanket and refuse to let you go.
A sweet, soft, snowy sapphic treat you’ll want to devour in one sitting. ❄️❤️🌈
A spicy, short & sweet sapphic romance. I liked the close proximity trope the most.
This has a little of insta romance/ love which isn't my favorite but with this being a novella, it made sense. Plus the grumpy vs sunshine trope for Christmas rings true - either you are all in or ain't!!
Great for those looking for a quick read with spice.
Thank you so much to Evie Daniels for this ARC!!! I love when an author sends me a surprise ARC omg. It will never get old.
WHEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!! Evie Maaam!!!! LOLOLOLOL. This was such a good bite size kind of novella i needed in the moment. If you are looking for some holiday spice? This is the book for youuuuuuu. Quick, bite size, and fun fr. Insta-love isn't my favvvvvvvv, however I did really enjoy this for what it was!!
Snowed In For the Holidays is a quick but warm and snowy delight. What starts as an awkward house sitting mix up turns into a super spicy romance filled with hot cocoa, cinnamon rolls and candy canes 😱 Sutton and Heaven’s chemistry feels effortless and tender.
If short, sweet, and holiday spicy is your thing, this book absolutely deserves a spot on your TBR.
What happens when Mother Christmas and Ms. Grinch get snowed in together for the holidays? A cozy little strangers-to-lovers novella, that’s what! This had tension, Christmas cheer, and just the right amount of spice all wrapped up in 90 pages chef’s kiss.
I really loved Sutton (Mother Christmas). She was so full of Christmas joy lol and just really thoughtful. Sis even had a Christmas bonnet 😂 her love of Christmas was next level. So it makes sense how she ended up house-sitting and stumble right into the perfect holiday fling… maybe even something more? Now Heaven aka Ms. Grinch was a grinch for a good reason. And Sutton really melted that icy little heart with all her festive energy and cooking. Their tension. Delicious. The chemistry. Immediate. The candy cane moment. Yeah… I will never look at those the same 😜. And that extra spicy chapter? Chiiiiillleeee…Merry Christmas Sutton and Heaven.
If you’re craving a soft sapphic, forced-proximity Christmas read, this is the one. Thank you Evie for the early access. This novella definitely sprinkled a little extra Christmas spirit on me. 🎄✨
Bestie! What you been reading? Watching? This book was muy caliente… I will NEVER look at candy canes the same. 🤪🤭 Thanks for sending this book over the Thanksgiving holiday because I was glued to this novella.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ (Did y’all read that extra chapter? 🥵)
Now while I’m sad Bambi had to die… the way this story unfolded was chef’s kiss. It’s a cute and easy page turner.
The one thing I loved the most is that Sutton didn’t give up her plans. I loved that she was still heading off on her planned adventure but agreed they’d see what happens. Most stories like this ends in a coupling up but I’m so glad this didn’t happen - they are taking the time and pace to seek what they could be which is a nice change.
If you’re looking for a short quick read with all the Christmasy and cozy spicy vibes - then this needs to be on your TBR.
Tropes: Close-proximity Strangers become lovers Christmas setting Sapphic Holiday Grinch vs. Santa
This was a quick sapphic read that had me kicking my FEEET!!! Sutton was paid to house sit for a rich couple while they were away on a couple holiday, in which the sister of the house owners showed up and oh my goshhhhh! The awkwardness from being stuck with a stranger, turned to curiosity and then affection was addicting to read. The cute moments and chemistry between Heaven and Sutton ran so smooth you'd think they knew each other forever. I adored these women, the storytelling and Evie's writing
This story gave me exactly what I wanted and then left me wanting more. Sutton and Heaven’s chemistry hits fast, but it never feels rushed. It’s warm, tender, a little messy in a human way, and the kind of holiday escape that pulls you right in. And the spice was so good. Every scene and every shared moment felt good.
It’s a short read, but it lands. The quiet moments by the fire, the awkward tension turning into something real, the soft little sparks you don’t expect. I finished it, swiped a few extra pages hoping there was more, found the bonus content, and now I’m insatiable.
If you want a quick sapphic holiday story that balances comfort and heat with ease, this one is a win.
First off, thank you to Evie for this ARC copy of Snowed In for the Holidays. This was a sexy and funny novella that definitely had me blushing, and honestly, it put me right in the Christmas spirit. Reading this had me wanting to decorate my house… among other things, lol. Sutton is an artist who’s getting ready to make a major move in her life, but before that happens, she takes a house-sitting gig over Christmas at a mansion. The holidays are her favorite time of year, so she is very much all things Christmas, even though her family is basically the complete opposite. Then we have Heaven, who is the sister of the brother whose house Sutton is sitting at. Heaven actually lives there and had every intention of proposing to her girlfriend and then coming back to the house to celebrate their engagement, only to find out she’s been cheated on. And honestly, throughout this book, I would not have minded a few extra pages of her ex getting a beat down, because it was very clear she was using Heaven for the money. After a funny and super awkward first encounter, Heaven and Sutton realize they’re stuck together for a bit, and this is very much an opposites-attract situation. Overall, I really enjoyed this read. It’s not just spicy, though it definitely has the makings of an erotica, but I also loved the witty banter and the extra layers to the story. It’s fast-paced, so some things aren’t fully flushed out. Specifically, I did wish there was a smoother transition with Heaven going from full Grinch mode, wanting Sutton gone immediately and even paying her to leave, to suddenly being interested in getting to know her, especially when earlier she didn’t even want to talk to her. On the other hand, Sutton is super cheery and instantly attracted, and that contrast worked for me. Evie does a really good job, even with a novella, of getting me invested in these characters so quickly. I could easily see a spinoff where we learn more about the brother and his wife, or a fuller story focused on Heaven and Sutton. I wouldn’t be mad at all about a follow-up novella, maybe set a year later. Honestly, I’m ready to start a petition for a holiday novella with them next year.
This was a cute, quick holiday read! Just the right amount of cozy Christmas vibes and steamy moments. Heaven and Sutton had a hilarious meet-cute and a rough start. Then they end up stuck together during a snowstorm, and after some hilarious banter and heated moments, they give in to the obvious attraction between them. This was a fun, grumpy/sunshine, opposites attract, steamy holiday read!
What do the lonely do at Christmas? Apparently do naughty things with candy canes and bring good tidings and joy to unexpected guests. Fresh off a break up Heaven returns home to find a complete stranger in her residence. After being knocked off her feet (literally) Heaven soon finds out that Sutton is the knockout she needed.
Sutton gets a late notification for a job opportunity and the offer is too good to decline. Taking the job was just the beginning of a memorable and cozy Christmas.
Snowed in with insatiable sweet teeth leads to a hot and steamy holiday neither expected. You will never look at a candy cane the same after this read.
This was GOOD! The humor and lightheartedness right off the bat was everything, this book was cute and sexy all in one. This was my first sapphic read and I thoroughly enjoyed it! The room definitely got hot reading the candy cane scene 🌝 10/10! 89 pages wasn’t enough I enjoyed Heaven and Sutton too much. If you’re looking for a quick holiday read this is definitely for you! Oh and shout out to that bonus scene 🤭🤭🤭
A surprise ARC? In my email?? Ma’am… Evie Daniels really said here, take this holiday goodness and SHE ATE 😭🔥
Snowed In for the Holidays drops 12/12, and let me tell you — this novella did not disappoint. It was spicy, fun, soft, and soooo freaking cute. This was my first sapphic romance and baby… SPICY 🔥🔥🔥
Evie can write a rom-com like nobody’s business, but a holiday novella?? Yeah, I’m gonna need a post-holiday update because Sutton & Heaven were THAT good.
I was granted with an ARC for this book and I LOVED IT!!! After a ruined holiday and a communication mix-up, our two FMCs are trapped together for Christmas make great use of their time getting to know one another. This was an amazingly hot and spicy, grumpy x sunshine novella. Sutton and Heaven's chemistry is off the charts and they give us so much in just 90 short pages. I could have read a full length novel about these two. 5 STARS!
Reading this gave “Tis’ the season but make it Black.” If you are looking for a solid sapphic novella that is heavy on the holiday cheer then this is for you.
I wish there was an epilogue. I need more of Heaven x Sutton!
I loved this story from beginning to end. Sutton and Heaven were the cutest. I loved Sutton's holiday cheer. Heaven was definitely the grumpy to Sutton's sunshine. These two were exactly what each other needed. The spice in this book was HOT. Heaven was taking Sutton through there in every room of her brother's house. The kitchen scene had me clutching my invisible pearls because DAMN. This was a really cute and spicy story. That added spicy scene was chefs kiss.
Evie Daniels does it again! This was a cute, spicy holiday novella. Sutton & Heaven really are perfect for each other. I’ve read Behind the Forecast, Love in the Headlines, & now Snowed in for the Holidays. Ms. Daniels is easily becoming an “immediate buy” author for me.
Thank you, Ms. Daniels, for the ARC. This is my honest opinion!
Lots of finger. Lots and lots of fingers. Lol. The bonus chapter was one of the spiciest scenes I've read in a very, very long time. And I love it! Lol.
This book was fast-paced and a great, short Holiday read. I enjoyed the banter as well. I'd definitely recommend. You will indeed be blushing the entire time.
A very cute and original story line for this sapphic romance. I very much enjoyed the way the 2 characters meet one another. I thought the character of Heaven interesting and probably could have book about her and her now ex.
I dont usually like the insta romance/ love but as a novella, it made sense. Great for those looking for a quick read with spice.

Enjoyable holiday read. Touches upon grief during the holidays while still managing to keep the story light. An unexpected Holiday fling that ends with the potential to be more. Great of you're looking for a sweet and spicy novella.

I received an ARC from the author. My opinions are my own.
This sapphic snowed in novella gave me exactly what I needed and the bonus chapter was perfect and SPICY! From homemade recipes, shower scenes, and turning on the best Christmas lights in the neighborhood, it was a fun read.
