My name is Rogue, and I’m the only Omega who can switch into an Alpha.
They say I am a myth. A feral Omega. A forbidden Alpha. Too tempting to resist. Betrayed by my mafia family, I am locked up in a secret ABO Facility run by the authorities.
When a beautiful, sunny male Omega is thrown into my cell, both sides of my outlawed nature bond with him as soulmate and scent match. To save his life, I unleash my wild pheromone powers.
We escape…and run.
We’re chased by the deadliest and most mysterious pack in America. A masked Alpha with haunted blue eyes, scars, and combat skills. And his Beta, the protective and possessive gadget specialist.
I am both Omega and Alpha — prey and predator. And this time? I refuse to run.
Rogue. Her hunters. A pack bond that changes everything.

In a world of Alphas, Betas and Omegas, there is a fourth forbidden designation—Rogue, with the ability to switch between Alpha, Beta, and Omega.
The aptly named Rogue, is one such creature, labeled an abomination for being both Alpha and Omega.
Shunned by her mafia family and forced into servitude to them as an enforcer, Rogue is sent to a secret government ABO facility after her designation is revealed where she, and others like her, are experimented on and tortured.
Only the warden does not realize his mistake and how vicious Rogue can be when he tosses an unconscious male Omega in her cell as another experiment. The moment she discovers he is her scent match, Rogue decides she will do anything to protect her Omega, and after one too many threats to his life, they escape.
Now she and her Omega are on the run, hunted by the most deadly bounty hunters in America, and while Rogue is not the prey they expect, the hunters are not what she anticipates either.
Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this was a nonstop, action packed, wild af ride!
We join the pack bonds world with Rogue who is an alpha hat can switch into an omega. I loved Rogue and her take no prisoners attitude throughout the story. She is strong, smart, feisty and at times funny. She also has this heart of gold that she doesn’t show anyone but a few. I loved Bird, Joker, and Phantom. They all bring something different and special to the story. While their connection is not one that would be considered typical it is one that absolutely fits them. The story is extremely well written and developed as is all of Rosemary A Johns stories. I absolutely love her writing and style. The journey we take alongside these characters is one that feels like you are walking alongside a friend. The story is action, drama, and suspense. It is absolutely a fantastic read and doesn’t disappoint.
*Why Choose *Contemporary *Omegaverse *FMC PoV only *Switch designation *Male Omega *Hunted FMC *Building Harem (3) *Faster Burn *Standalone *Wider Universe Something different! 3.5⭐️ This had brought something new to the OV script in that our FMC Rogue/Switch had the ability to switch between designations so alpha/beta/omega. For this she was contained and hunted as a threat to society 😖 she is definitely a strong FMC having gone through what she has but also shows real depth in her switching between designations. It would have been good to have a bit more detail about this - like does her physicality change? Is it just her scent? I think that element could have been a bit more fleshed out. But overall the characters are good with the focus very much on them; alongside Rogue you have Bird the male omega who is also riding his own identity and role; Phantom the alpha silent and broody; Joker who is absolute chaos - but they do all fit together somehow 😅 and will do t all to protect their girl 🥰 it did have a good plot to cement their relationship building - overall another strong book in this wider world.
Loved this book. Rogue is a switch, which is essentially illegal and they are usually killed and often times so are their packs. Rogue is an alpha and omega and her family has trained her to be an assassin. She lives her brother Mars whom she is close to and her other family suck except her dad. She eventually gets sent to this facility where this mad scientist/psycho experiments on them. She is given Bird an omega close to death and she is able to bring him back. He ends up being her scent match and they eventually escape. They are then hunted by multiple packs due to the bounty on their heads. They eventually are caught by the Hunters pack who is actually a mute Alpha Phantom and a switch Beta/Omega Joker. I love how they all begin to trust and become close to each other. How they fight for each other. They end up rescuing a bunch of Rogues and plan to create a pack just for them. The 4 bond and are planning to rescue Mars. I can’t wait to read Mars’ story.
I've been enjoying this whole series. Each book has brought a new omegaverse story to life, but this thirteenth book brought a new element...Rogue Switches.
I loved this latest book. Rogue & Her Hunters was such a unique twist to the omegaverse world that couldn't put it down. I love Rogue! She has such a different mindset from her harsh training of being the family's assassin and bodyguard. I love that the author showcased this multiple times and how she struggled with the concept of how to be a good alpha or her place in any pack.
And she not the only one. All of them will have to face their issues.
I loved that Bird is in this book. He's such a sweet understanding omega. Joker and Phantom bring just right feel to this story. Their broken pieces fit with Rogue and Bird.
Rosemary gives us the next awesome new Omega Bonds installment! This is the story of Rogue/Switch and her new pack. Bird is tossed into her cell to see if she can save him, which she does and they bond in the facility even though it is forbidden, which leads to their chance to escape the facility. They make it out but things are going not quite as planned. They are hunted by the notorious Hunter pack, but not for the reasons they thought. To find out how they get from here to their hard won HEA, dive into this wonderfully written story with complex characters and plot twists that keep you guessing and turning pages throughout! I loved reading this story and highly recommend the series. Don't miss out on this book!!
I absolutely loved this book! Although it was heartbreaking at times, I felt for Rogue so much. Her mom and sister pretty much hate her for being a rogue (she can switch between alpha and omega) she makes a mistake putting her brother in trouble which causes her mom to send her to a facility. Bird a male dying omega is thrown into her cell, she is told to save him but not bond with him! He is her scent match so she does, causing them to have to escape. Her last job for her mom was to end The Hunters, little did she know that these would be the guys to save them both! But they have so many people after them!
Overall an amazing read, this was a change for me too as I don’t usually read male omega, female alpha books but I really enjoyed this one!
Another great instalment in this world where Alpha's and Omega's work together to create equality for all designations, and find love and their pack bonds along the way. In this book we find out that there is a rare designation that can switch between 2 different designations but, they have been persecuted for centuries and, are now being experimented on! When Rouge is sent to a lab as punishment she bides her time before escaping with a vulnerable Omega who she bonded. I loved the banter between Rouge and Joker and the dynamics within the whole pack were just so great- supportive, fun and loving.
This was a good read and I liked it. It keeps you engaged and is high action. The story felt a little empty and I think could have benefited even more from other character POV's. It's high action, full of chaos goblins and is spicy. If you've liked previous books in this series; you will not be disappointed. I do recommend this book.
Rogue & Her Hunters by Rosemary Johns is the 12th book in the Pack Bonds Series. This was a non stop action ride the whole time. Rogue is a switch who is sent to a facility where she is tortured/experimented on. She escapes and is on the run. Love her pack. Such a good series. Can't wait for the next one!
Rogue has been neglected and threatened her entire life of being sent to the government facility because her ability to switch between Alpha nand Omega. She is dedicated to her brother and to becoming his personal bodyguard, but one mistake she find the threat a reality and now has to figure out what to do to get through it all not to just save herself but all the rogues.
This entire series has been so good! I love how they are all interconnected yet each could essentially be a stand alone. This one really brought on a whole new aspect to the series that I really enjoyed. I loved the characters and really liked the storyline. This is probably my 2nd favorite of the series so far (Puck still has my heart). I love how the pack came together!
I love this world and its characters. Exploring the fourth dynamic has added a new twist to this world. Rouge, joker, bird and phantom make an absolutely perfect pack. I love that this series interlinks but can be read as seperate books too! Love the little cross overs! Lots of love for this book and series! Amazing read!
Great story about an omega who can switch between role and being an alpha. I love Rogue and how she will do anything for her loved ones. I also enjoyed seeing her and her new pack build their relationships as the book went along.
We met Bird in book one and I've been wondering what happened to him. Well, we get our answer in this book! This is an amazing story, I haven't read an omegaverse quite like this and I was here for every page. Thoroughly enjoyed it and I'm hoping we get Collette's story next.
We love a woman who knows her strength! And Rogue has that in spades. I like that she’s also vulnerable and has a soft side, she’s very dynamic. Her and Bird are so sweet together. Add in our other two hunters and forget it, we’ve got it all in one package!
I've read plenty of omegaverses, but I haven't come across many where the MFC was an alpha, let alone a switch. In fact, I haven't come across many books with switches, period, so I was intrigued to see Rosemary John's take on both in Rogue and Her Hunters.
Rouge is a complex character and not just because she's an alpha-omega switch. It's just who she is, the unwanted child who was only used as a weapon but still loves herself. She's managed to balance being a mafia assassin with a caring heart that she has to hide from everyone but her brother Mars, whom she loves. After all the sadness in her life, I was incredibly happy that Ro had found her pack. As usual with this series, the romance was amazing and complex with different dynamics, designations, and situations. I love that the books in this series are connected, mostly because I get to find out what happens to certain side characters. For instance, Bird (Grace and Her Sinners) is a MMC in this one. The omega was just adorable. After Sinners, I was dying to know what happened to him, and now I do. Joker and Phantom are familiar as well, but I can’t remember from which book. No matter, I loved them both. Phantom was the strong and silent type, and Joker was just crazy. The romance in this book was anything but typical, but it was heartwarming.
The story is told from a single perspective, Rouge's. I'm used to multiple POVs, but I found I did miss the others' POVs this time around. The story was very character-focused. I enjoyed seeing them build their relationships. Learning each other's pasts, making promises about the future, and being there in the present. That being said, there was still good stuff plot-wise. Mafia politics, bounty hunters, the inside of an ABO facility, and more. The part about the power a rogue switch has was interesting. How they can use their pheromones in different ways and how they affect others is creative.
Rogue and Her Hunters was another great addition to the Pack Bonds series. As long as Rosemary Johns keeps writing, I'll keep reading them. I love this series, and I'm excited to say that there's another one waiting in the wings. I can't wait!
Rogue & Her Hunters by Rosemary A. Johns is a thrilling ride through an omegaverse unlike any I've read. Packed with mafia politics, bounty hunters, dangerous secrets, found family, and a unique take on scent dynamics, this book had me hooked from the very first page.
In a world divided into Alphas, Betas, and Omegas, there exists one forbidden designation a Rogue. A rare switch capable of moving between Alpha, Beta, and Omega, Rogues are feared, hunted, and coveted. It's such a fascinating concept, and I loved learning how their pheromones work and the incredible power they possess.
Rogue is everything I love in a heroine strong, fearless, fiercely protective, and completely unapologetic about who she is. She grew up unwanted, raised to be nothing more than a weapon for the mafia, yet somehow she never loses her compassion. Beneath the deadly assassin is a woman with a caring heart that she's forced to hide from almost everyone except her beloved brother, Mars. That balance between ruthless survivor and fiercely loyal protector made her an unforgettable character.
The romance is anything but conventional, and that's exactly why it works. Watching Rogue slowly build trust and connection with her scent matches while they're on the run from relentless enemies created so many emotional, heart-pounding moments. Each of the hunters has a distinct personality that adds something special to the group. Phantom is the quiet, dependable protector, Joker is delightfully chaotic and impossible not to love, and the chemistry between them all feels genuine rather than forced.
One of my favorite surprises was seeing Bird from Grace & Her Sinners. After finishing Sinners, I desperately wanted to know what happened to him, and I was so happy to finally get his story. He was every bit as lovable as I remembered. Seeing familiar faces woven into this new adventure made the world feel even richer.
The action never lets up, the suspense keeps the pages flying, and the emotional moments hit just as hard as the explosive ones. Add in witty banter, sizzling chemistry, and just the right amount of spice, and this became another unforgettable installment in Rosemary A. Johns' incredible omegaverse.
If you love protective heroes, a fierce heroine, unconventional romance, high stakes action, and fresh twists on the ABO genre, Rogue & Her Hunters deserves a spot on your TBR.
📌 Voluntarily reviewed. I received no compensation, and these opinions are entirely my own.
If you’re craving an Omegaverse story that doesn’t just follow the rules but chews them up and spits them out, Rogue & Her Hunters delivers.
Rosemary A Johns gives us a heroine who isn’t just breaking the system , she’s literally built to defy it.
Rogue our MFC is a Switch, able to move between alpha/beta/omega designations, and honestly, that alone had me hooked.
The concept is wild, dangerous, and full of potential, and Johns leans into the tension of it.
Rogue isn’t just hunted; she’s contained, studied, feared. And you feel every ounce of that pressure on her.
She’s strong, stubborn, and beautifully complicated, but what I loved most is how her shifting nature isn’t just a plot device.
And then there's her hunters.
• Bird — soft resilience, male omega, navigating identity.
• Phantom — broody alpha, silent menace, the one who watches everything.
• Joker — pure chaos gremlin energy, unpredictable but loyal in the way only feral boys can be.
They shouldn’t work together but they do, and the dynamic is addictive.
The harem build is fast but emotionally grounded, and the plot gives them real stakes beyond “protect the girl.” It’s messy, intense, and surprisingly sweet in moments.

Why Choose Omegaverse FMC switch Alpha/Omega Male Omega Male Switch Beta/Omega Mute Alpha
Our FMC, Rogue, is a switch. What does that mean? It means her designation changes between Alpha and Omega. In this world that’s illegal and they are usually unalived. Rogue, however, was trained by her family to be an assassin…. Rogue lives with and is close with her brother, Mars.
Rogue gets sent to a facility where she is experimented on by a psychotic scientist. She is given a male omega, Bird, who is close to death. She’s able to bring him back, which is great considering he’s her scent match!!! After living in hell, they eventually escape, but there’s a bounty on their heads.
After evading multiple packs, they are finally caught by The Hunters Pack…. Who’s all in this pack you ask? Phantom, a mute Alpha and Joker, a switch Beta/Omega. These four are perfect for each other and make a wonderful pack. They come together beautifully and accept each other.
This book has all the feels, the spice, the drama. I couldn’t put it down!!
Our FMC, Rogue, is a literal Rogue. She can switch between an Alpha and an Omega; it's something that shouldn't exist; she's called an abomination. Her family, apart from her brother, won't accept her; they treat her basically like a slave. She is finally sent to the ABo facility, where she is given Bird, yes, that Bird from the hotel in a previous book!
Rogue is a super interesting character. This series has been going on for a while, so I can't quite remember if we have seen a character who can switch between designations before. It really intrigued me, and it was really cool to see this type of character.
I don't want to say too much about the story itself because I don't want to accidentally spoil anything for anyone, but I can say it's a really good read. I loved the characters, especially all the guys, and I was so happy that Bird was a part of this story; he deserved a happy ending, and he got one.
I will say that I am now intrigued by Collette and kinda hoping she gets a story of her own.
This book is a exhilarating blend of action, suspense, romance, and Omegaverse mythology that had me hooked from the very first chapter. The concept of Rogue being a forbidden designation capable of shifting between Alpha and Omega was refreshingly unique and added an exciting twist to the genre.
Rogue is everything I love in a heroine—strong, fearless, fiercely protective, and unapologetically herself. Despite everything she's endured, she never loses her determination to fight for those she loves. Watching her bond with her scent match while fleeing ruthless enemies made for an emotional and adrenaline-filled journey.
The hunters each bring their own personalities and strengths, creating compelling relationships that feel natural and full of chemistry. The action scenes are intense, the suspense keeps the pages turning, and the romance is perfectly balanced with the fast-paced plot. There are plenty of emotional moments, witty banter, and just the right amount of spice.
This is the first book of the series I've read and I have to say that the idea of switching designations really hooked me in. Rogue is in a mafia family and has been used as an enforcer until they decide to send her to a lab to be tortured and experimented on because she can switch designations...something not 'allowed'. Let's just say the bulk of her family isn't worth the air they breathe... She ends up with an omega, Bird, in her cell, and he's her scent match...and also able to switch to a beta. So fun! These two escape and have packs after them. Alphas, Joker and Phantom, are also very unique characters and I loved seeing the guys all rally around their feisty girl ;P Expect to get caught up in the action, drama, danger, chaos, emotions, trust and hot romance as these fascinating characters work for their HEA. There's more to come for this engaging plot line of rogue designations and I'm so there for it. Good fun!
Defying the norm, self acceptance I really enjoyed this book of the Pack Bonds series. While the whole serieis is very inclusive, I felt that the undertones of this one were even more pronounced. A very diverse group of characters comes together with love and acceptance. Even while the government is actively working to eradicate those that are "different". Sadly, very on point in today's world. Rogue has always been the dirty secret of her mafia family, and after another family started a war and her rogue powers came out to protect her brother, her mother turns her over to the facility. What no one know is the facility is working on eliminating all rogues. Bird, and omega, is thrown into her cell, unconscious and dying. But being scent matches means she can maybe help. On the run and being chased by the feared Hunter pack, bounty hunters, only to find they are scent matches too. Now they must take down all their enemies and learn to love each other.
We are back with another book in the Pack Bonds series. The series alone is unique. This one tho delves into a whole new concept. I absolutely couldn't put it down. We have Rogue who is considered a " switch". She can switch between Alpha and Omega. Switch's are illegal. She is trained and used by her mafia family to be an assassin. She gets sent to a facility where they experiment on her kind. She meets Bird in her cell. He is thrown in her cell to be exact. We all remember Bird from a previous book. He turns out to be her scent match. She turns into the alpha he needs at the time. They escape the facility. They get chased by hunters. When the hunters catch up it turns out the alpha and beta are her scent matches as well. Rogue and her men are so totally different. I loved seeing how their dynamic works especially with Rogue being a switch. This is by far my favorite out of the series.
This author has become a 1-click author for me. This series has a complete grip on my kindle that I just can’t stop devouring. Rogue was so fun to meet. I love her take no prisoners attitude. I also love that by the end, her character development came full circle and she wanted what everyone wants. To be accepted, to be loved and to be able to be her true self.Bird is back! I was so happy to see Bird again and to see his story get his much deserved HES. Bird was one of my favorites in Grace’s story. I love how fiercely he loves his pack. He stands for what’s right without getting in the thick of the fighting. He truly had everyone’s best interests in mind during this book. Adding a fourth dynamic to the mix. Showing that just because something is different doesn’t mean you need to fear it. This was such a well written addition to this series and I can’t wait to get Mars’ story next. A definite must read, just go back to the beginning so all the side characters make sense.

I'm loving all the ways authors are putting different spins on the omegaverse lately. Rogue is a new designation, its a switch designation meaning they can switch between more than 1 designation. Because of this ability they are hunted and feared. Our FMC, Rogue (as an alpha) and Switch (as an omega), is so cool. She grew up unwanted (not by all) and that shaped her into a strong, brace, protective, and so caring. She's hard on the outside and a soft gooey marshmallow underneath. I'm so happy that Bird is her scent match, I was hoping to get more of his story after reading Sinners. Her Hunters are for you to learn about as you read. I had so many emotions while reading this as I felt all of Rogue's hurt, fear, and jealousy. I'm so glad she got her HEA. Can't wait for the next installment of this series.
I enjoyed reading about Rogue and her Hunters. I don’t think I’ve ever read any omegaverse out there about what Rogue is: an Omega/Alpha switch. I really like this dynamic. I think Rosemary’s idea of how she created Rogue is pretty cool. Her personality truly matches her Omega/Alpha orientation. She can be badass one minute and sweet to the people she loves. Rogue was sent to this crazy facility due to saving her brother. There she met Bird, her scent-matched omega. After escaping, they were caught by the Hunter Pack and found out she’s scent-matched them as well.
I was hooked from the very beginning and stayed intrigued until the end. I haven’t read any other books before this one, but I’ll have to look into it. This book does have MM due to male Omegas, and I’m not into MM in my reverse harems/why-choose, but it works in this book. I really like Bird; he’s adorable.
