The third in a sexy romance series from the bestselling author of Saxon and Toxic Girl about the bad boys of the Wind Dragons Motorcycle Club and the women who fall in love with them.
Tracker is everything I’ve ever wanted.
I see him. I’ve watched time change him.
I’ve been patient, but he still hasn’t noticed me. Not the way I want him to. The more time I spend with the MC, the more I understand.
When you want something, you have to take it. You have to fight for it.
Ok so this is your only warning I am not hiding any of my spoilers in this review because I feel it is my duty to warn everyone because I was loving this book so hard and then I got to like 80% mark and it all went to hell.
*3.5 stars, maybe 3.75 just because I do love this authors writing style and I did like the first 80% of the book*
So I actually loved most of this book, Tracker and Lana were super cute together in the beginning, I especially loved Lana's character, she is definitely one of my fav ladies in this series. And she reminds me a little of me so I had fun reading about her. Which is probably why I am so angry.
I don't like to read books with cheating in them, if I get a whiff that a book has cheating in it, I probably won't touch it with a ten foot pole. It is a hard limit for me. Unfortunately I didn't have any warning about this one, so this is me warning you. There is cheating in this book and even worse, Tracker practically guilts Lana into forgiving him because of something she did, something I'll add that wasn't anywhere even close to being as bad. And all his dumb excuses, saying it was only a blowjob, and he had to picture it was her and he couldn't even get off in the end. Like no, just shut up and don't even bother trying to justify what you did. YOU KNEW YOU WERE GOING TO GET BACK TOGETHER, YOU KNNNNNEWWWWW SO SHUT UP WITH YOUR GUILT AND EXCUSES. YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE DONE IT AT ALL.
So yeah I'm a little angry and ranty about this so I'll stop before I start yelling...well yelling any more. I just wanted to give anyone thinking about reading this one a heads up, because I know I would have appreciated one.

*April 1st 2018* I read this book 3 years ago and wrote my review, and every so often people will like it or comment and I see it again and I still literally get so mad every time I'm reminded of the way Tracker acted, so that should really tell you what a huge dick he was in the end.
This book was on the sweeter and lighter side of the MC scale. Tracker is a member of Wind Dragons Motorcycle Club, and for the last two books in the series, he's involved with Allie but it's not a 'real" relationship. Meaning it's not "twu wuv" folks. Enter Lana, the speshul snowflake heroine who will change the hero's whoring ways. His woman. His one and only.
It is rather clichéd but I didn't mind it too much because I know what I was getting into just based on the blurb. And I actually liked the book for the most part. But then something happened towards the third part of the book which totally ruined it for me. And no, I'm not talking about the Anyway, like I said that wasn't my problem at all. It was the drama that happened before that, which led that really had me rolling my eyes because it's dumb and juvenile.
I'm sorry but I found his reaction to be over the top and so completely out of whack. He didn't even give Lana a chance to explain. That really annoyed me because it was all very melodramatic. but since his reason itself was ridiculous, it left a bad taste in my mouth.
That said. It wasn't all bad. The writing wasn't really something I was used to but it grew on me. It made the book very readable and there were some funny parts that got me laughing out loud. Lana was a bit bland for me but I liked her and Tracker together. I liked their chemistry and their banter. Unfortunately, the conflict wasn't really strong enough for me and I wasn't a fan of the boneheaded move the hero pulled in the book.
Still, I enjoyed it overall and would recommend it to readers who are looking for something sweet and angsty.

I am very confused. I really do not understand this book and what the concept or purpose was supposed to be.
Lana is a secret erotica writer by night and by day she babysits at the Wind Dragons MC Club. She came into contact with them through her best friend Anna (main character in the second book - Arrow's Hell). That's how she met Tracker one year ago. They were attracted to each other from the get go, but nothing ever happened.
He thought it was best for him to stay away from such a good and sweet girl. For some reason things have changed and Tracker is now actively pursuing Lana. And that's pretty much the gist of it.
I don't understand why they haven't been together from the get go, there really was nothing of substance holding them back and once he changes his mind it's endless chapters of flirting and 'we can only be friends' talk on Lana's part - even though she really wants him.
Long story short - I was missing something. And it's really sad, because Ms. Fernando has a lovely writing style that just flows and keeps you reading. And the set up within the last book was really interesting, but I don't think it was used to its fullest potential - or at all, really.
I actually wanted to DNF the whole time but I kept going in the hopes that something would happen. Wanna know what happens? Ex-girlfriend, daddy and trust issues as well as a new MC making trouble. I skimmed over the rest...
Granted the last 20% were more fast paced and things were happening, but at that point you already lost me. Sorry.
As a self proclaimed biker bitch I rate MC books differently then others so it really pains me to have to give this novel 4 stars, because I love this series and Chantal Fernando, but this book left me a little disappointed.
Thank God Tracker saved this book for me. He was so hot that I literally had to put some ice in my panties to stop the temperature from rising. I mean really...look at this pictures:
Now close your eyes and imagine him doing this to you...
...and a little bit of this...
And definitely some of this :P
I think you can imagine now why I needed that ice...right? :P
Putting that aside :P The fact why I couldn't give it 5 stars was because although there was constant talk about the attraction between Lana and Tracker I just couldn't feel it and when the "I love you" 's came in the first half of the book all was lost...
You all know how much I love "instalove"...
But beside this I really loved this book and the fact that all the characters from the previous books where in it...just one big MC family :D

2.5 - 3 Stars! This is the third book in the Wind Dragons MC Series. It's Trackers and Lana's story. These books are very light on the MC world. It's very much in the background. They are more focused on the relationship of the couple the story is about. I find I like these most times because it's like a break from the dark and gritty MC books I also read. I loved how these two had some chemistry from afar but never did anything about it for a year. Then Tracker decided to ignore everyone that had been warning him to stay away from Lana and go after what he wanted. I was really loving the beginning of the book. How sweet Tracker was and Lana was holding off. He was patient and wasn't pushing her. Lana has major trust issues and knew Tracker had a past with woman. Lana needed to make sure she wasn't going to be just another one of his bed buddies. She could already tell she was going to fall hard for this man if she let herself. So after they finally become official that's when I found myself bored with this one and actually had to take a few breaks to try and get back into it. Not much happened at first. We do finally get some drama with one of Trackers ex. That turns into something more that had me scratching my head trying to figure out who was the bad guy. But it still wasn't enough to make me love this book. Now my biggest issue was what happens when Tracker finds out something about Lana! Through out the whole book all you hear about is her trust issues! So why the author decided to throw in what's under my spoiler I will never know!
****SPOILER BELOW****
It pissed me off! The way Tracker was with Lana...he didn't act like a manwhore with her so it just didn't sit well with me. I never would of thought he would of done that. So anyway...I liked some of the book and didn't like some of it. Will I be reading more?? Probably! lol I'm hoping Rake's story will be next! Now he is king of the manwhores!!! Lmao!
Finally gave this one a go but I can't say I was very impressed. I absolutely loved the first book on this series and I actually wanted to marry the heroine myself for a while :)
The second book wasn't as big of a hit for me as the first but I still enjoyed reading it.
This one though...not a fan. One of the reasons being: the heroine. I am not a fan of shy insecure women. I like em tough and snarky :P I don't mind a bit of self-doubt, but the whole woe is me, does nothing for me. She was also the extremely jealous kind and questioned the hero about every one of his interactions with other women.
But when push came to shove...she forgave him for getting a blow job from another girl when they were fighting/apart because he was hurting too and it wasn't like he cheated !!! OMG have some freaking self-respect, will you?!!! You caught him with another chick right after he treated you like shit and kicked you out for a bullshit reason (his reasons were shit). He confessed he needed a blowjob because he was hurting and because he is such a sexual being, he needed to get off, (are you fucking kidding me) He had the nerve to say that she shouldn't be mad, because he refrained from having someone else's pussy... (I can't even....) But she can't even have lunch without him threatening to beat the guy up...Fucking double standards
And after being an insecure and jealous little girl for almost the entire book and questioning him about every fucking thing...she forgives him...for treating her like shit...for basically cheating...and for kicking her out... Just like that !!!
Yeah, I was not a Lana and Tracker fan and that's sad because Tracker was on of my faves when I first read Dragon's Lair. I'm not giving up though... There maybe some hope for Rake and Bailey :P
I was going to give Tracker's End a big, long detailed summary as to why I didn't like it. Then I had this brain fart kinda moment, mmmmm not going to bore you with the details, fact is I just didn't!
In the previous two books Tracker has been an interesting laid back friendly character but he seemed happy to want Lana while he still having Allie at his beck and call. In this book however he decides he's done with Allie, she was never anything more than casual sex for him although it's easy to see how she felt otherwise, he's going to make his move on Lana. To give him his due he does make a real effort and slowly Lana's walls come down and she begins to trust him. Now he's not an idiot so he has to know how hurt Lana will be to see Allie on the back of his bike. I think she does well considering everywhere they go they come across someone he's had sex with but I suppose that's the nature of dating a biker in an MC book. Things were going well until Tracker discovers Lana's secret and then he overreacts alarmingly, I just didn't buy that at all and it didn't fit with the rest of the book for me. After his massive overreaction when he's kicked Lana out she lives like a hermit trying to get over the love of her life and trying repeatedly to explain herself while he's getting blowjobs from other women. Now the poor man can't face actually having sex with anyone else (my heart was bleeding for him at this point) so he has to make do with blowjobs! Overreaction aside this again wasn't a bad book, the constant comparisons to other women would drive me nuts but I liked the humour and the cover (after complaining about Arrow's cover I thought I'd best state that I love his one) While I liked Tracker I just felt something was missing and although he's a main character he might have been better with a shorter book, maybe 2.5.
Wow! Chantal Fernando did it again! I Love, Love, Love Tracker's End! I couldn't wait to get my hands on this installment of the Wind Dragons Motorcycle Club Book and was once again Chantal Fernando did not disappoint. The story Pulled me in from the very first page and held my attention until the very last. The chemistry between Tracker and Lana gave me Butterflies and the story flowed smoothly. I took a liking to Tracker when I read Dragon's Lair and was super excited when when the Author decided to give him his own book.
Tracker is a Gorgeous Blonde Hair, Blue Eye member of the Wind Dragons Motorcycle Club. He does just what his name suggest, he tracks. Lana is a college student who is working as a Nanny for the President of the Wind Dragons daughter. Tracker is attracted to Lana, he loves her innocence and the down to earth personality. Lana is attracted to Tracker but, she is fighting her feelings for him because she knows that they could never work.
Tracker and Lana have shared a connection ever since they met. Heated glances, and light flirting is all that can come of it though. Tracker thinks Lana is too good for him and wouldn't be able to live in his lifestyle, so he stays away and wastes his time with Allie, his hated girlfriend. Lana see's the women that Tracker is surrounded with every day and thinks that she will never be what he wants, so she avoids him at all costs. But when she takes the job as nanny to Clover, the MC's president's daughter, she see's Tracker everyday and can't hide anymore. Tracker is ready to take what he wants, but Lana still runs scared. Tracker isn't going to give up too easily though.
Holy shit, Chantal Fernando upped the hotness factor in this one! Tracker is one yummy son of a bitch and I want him all to myself. He was such a fun character yet still rough around the edges. The combination was strange yet it worked and made him a great guy. I loved how sweet he was with the women of the Wind Dragon's, especially Clover. He wanted Lana no matter what, even if it meant he had to change himself to be what he thought she wanted, he just didn't realize Lana wasn't the delicate flower he thought.
At first I wasn't sure how I felt about Lana because she was really shy and stood in the background. I was nervous she would be a heroine with no backbone that couldn't stand up for herself, which is not what what I imagine when reading about a heroine in a MC romance. I was pleasantly surprised though when we got more of her story. She wasn't a shy little girl, she was a fierce protector that didn't take shit from anyone, not even Tracker. I loved how up front she was with him and would call him on his bullshit.
Overall, this is an amazing book to go with this amazing series and I cannot wait for more! Tracker and Lana were adorable together. The story was humorous, steamy and just downright awesome. I hope Rake's book is next and am already dying to read it.

Book review in English and Portuguese
First I have to say that I really love Chantal Fernando and read all this author publishes. It would be wonderful to have her books edited in Brazil the readers would love this. Those people who do not read English are losing the opportunity to meet a wonderful author. The story is wonderful and the heroes are very interesting. I fell for both heroes and was transported into the universe created by the author and at some point I didn't want the story to end. Our hero is an alpha male with all features well developed and our heroine a woman well resolved and full of attitude. I confess that I wanted to hit our hero in certain scenes. I kept saying OMG, OMG!!! We have action, romance, sex, intrigue, suspense and all we can ask of a great story. Highly recommended and crazy for the next story. ----------------------------

The notorious bad boy womanizer and the innocent good girl trope have always been one of those those story-lines that I can't seem to resist. And in Chantal Fernando's newest installment to the Wind Dragon MC series, Ms. Fernando was able to insert a bit of sexiness, innocence, lust, grittiness, and yet sweetness in Tracker's End.
Tracker's End was a bit different than the first two book of the series since I found this book to be more sweet, loving, innocent and yet oozing with raw sensual sexual chemistry between Tracker and Lana. If you have read the previous book, it was known that Tracker was somewhat involved with a relationship with Allie, a Wind Dragon groupie. Allie and Tracker's relationship seemed to be more on the physical aspect so it was not considered a "real" relationship by any standards. As being known as one the bad boys of Wind Dragon, Tracker has a reputation to upheld so when he meets Lana, he knew he was playing with fire because she is somewhat innocence and sweet in his eyes. She is someone he doesn't want to taint. As much as he tries to resist and stay away from her, the lure of her personality, beauty and sexuality was too much for him. When he knew Lana felt the same way for him, he made it his mission to make Lana his girl.
The relationship of Lana and Tracker is just like any relationship. They had to learn to adjust to each other's personality and comfort zone. Soon Tracker finds himself discovering that his sweet and innocent Lana is a sexual kitten, who can easily keep up with him sexually. But as the two gets deeper into their relationship, will Lana's secret be the destruction to their relationship when he thinks she violated his trust?
As far as sexual chemistry this book was SCORCHING HOT!!!! I know some may have felt that it was too soon for the " I love you's " but in all honesty I didn't mind it at all because I felt Tracker and Lana were the the type of people who knew what they wanted and made it known. Also, the sexual tension and chemistry between those two was already brewing especially in the second book so it was only a matter of time for those two to finally have one explosive sexual relationship. What drew me into this book was that Ms. Fernando was able to make this book light, fun, sexy, gritty, and yet sweet and innocent. I loved that she didn't have it full of grit, vengeance, or what not but kept the focus on Tracker and Lana's relationship. I loved seeing this couple evolved from a couple with strong sexual tension to a relationship that is built on a strong foundation of love, trust and understanding.
So if you are looking for a book to devour, then I highly recommend Tracker's End. I practically inhaled this book in one sitting. Tracker's End was the perfect combination of romance and suspense integrated in an MC book!! As always, the writing was beautiful and the characters were written so real and raw. Another great installment to the series!!! I honestly can't wait for Rake's story. Thank you Chantal Fernando for another amazing book and reuniting your readers once again to the men of Wind Dragons.

Continuing in the same sweet and mild manner as the earlier books in the Wind Dragons MC series, 'Tracker's End' proves to be tamer than most, but heartfelt and sentimental. Although this is probably the most domesticated motorcycle club to ever grace the pages of romantic fiction, I love the heartwarming stories of these couples. While this book could be read as a stand-alone, reading the books in order does provide background information that helps to better understand the characters and the history of the MC. This book focuses on the story of Lana and Tracker.
Lana was best known for being Anna's reserved and sweet-natured best friend. She's hired on as the babysitter for Clover, the daughter of Sin and Faye. Unbeknownst to everyone at the clubhouse, including Anna, Lana has a secret. She definitely isn't as sweet and innocent as everyone likes to think. Underneath her demure facade is a vixen.
Tracker is drawn to Lana's unassuming beauty the first time he saw her at the clubhouse. A notorious ladies man, engaged in an on-again, off-again relationship with Allie, he was immediately warned away from Lana. He wanted her, but knew that he wasn't deserving of a good girl like her. So, he watched from a distance and waited for the right time to make his move.
When Tracker decides that he's tired of denying his attraction, he sets out to make Lana his. Having watched his womanizing ways firsthand, she's in no rush to get involved with Tracker. Regardless of how much she wants him, she isn't interested in dealing with his crazy ex-girlfriend or the hurt that is bound to follow any fling they might have. Lana learned long ago that men cannot be depended on. They always leave, just like her father did.
For a while, things seem to be going well for these two. Tracker has seemingly transitioned into a devoted boyfriend. Meanwhile, Lana hesitantly places more faith in him. They both seem to be overcoming their hang-ups.
Then, Tracker discovers Lana's secret and flips out! I have to say that I really didn't get his over the top reaction. I guess every story needs some sort of conflict and this was the best that the author could come up with. Really, the secret did not warrant the reaction it got from Tracker. I had a hard time buying it.
Nonetheless, the couple split up for a while. Tracker was an ass, in my humble opinion. Lana seemed to finally be getting on with her life again, when he shows up to try and patch things up.
With little remorse or sincerity, Tracker manages to work his way right back into Lana's life. Ugh! Sure he buys her a gift and pulls some caveman stunts to warn off any competition, but why must the heroine always be so weak?
I hate it when everything builds up to a huge turning point, only to have the hero show up, apologize, and have the heroine forgive their transgressions easily, with little effort. I want to see them grovel. I love those gut-wrenching, angst-filled moments. Maybe I'm a sadist, but I want them to suffer! After all, "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned". So, bring it ladies!
Despite the quick and easy reunion, I did genuinely like this story. Like the earlier books in this series, it was sweet and enjoyable. Even though I wouldn't describe most MC romances in this way, "cute" is the word that comes to mind when I think of this series. This was a nice way to pass a few hours. It left me with that contented, warm, fuzzy feeling and a HEA.
Lana and Tracker are VERY hot together. Scorching. Lately, I've been digging the MC books and let me tell you, this does not disappoint. The plot kept me interested and the writing was solid beginning to end. I haven't read the other books yet but that will change very very soon!
3,5 Stars! I had a good time reading this book, that's for sure. Maybe i wasn't insane about Tracker but still i enjoyed the whole book immensely and practically devoured in just a few short hours.
Sometimes you only need to have a good time with a book and i certainly had. That's why i 'll try not to over-analyze it. Yes, there were good things and bad things, some characteristics were likeable and others not so much.
Let's start with the main characters, Lana and Tracker. Lana is a too sweet for her own good, forgiving and loyal person. She was too cooperative at times but i couldn't dislike her even when she was a total doormat.
Tracker on the other hand is a very arrogant person. I always love the cocky ones with the big ego and the even bigger mouth, but in here it didn't work for me.I was on Lana's side all the way.
Now a few words about the story. Lana is the best friend of Anna, Arrow's old lady. She is a quite, timid girl, a little nerdy on the outside but in reality, a true firecracker. She carries too many secrets and a few trust issues but she still has a positive disposition in general. Tracker is laid back, funny and a player. He made a few bad decisions in the past but the moment he sees Lana, all bets are off.
But all the secrets and bad decisions, are bound to come back and haunt the two main heroes, no matter how good they are for each other, or how much effort they put into this relationship. Overall this installment in the series, although entertaining, wasn't as powerful as the other two, and even though the twists and secrets were many and very compelling, they weren't explored like they should.
THOUGHTS ABOUT THE BOOK
- Mostly told from Lana's POV. - So happy to see all the other characters! - Loving Clover!! - Rake and Bailey? Hmmm!! - Love the dog! - Yeah Daniel -a.k.a. Tracker- is insanely hot, but too much of a player.
ARC provided via Netgalley in exchange of an honest review. Thank you!
This better NOT be Tracker and Allie! Did not like her AT ALL..even when she TRIED (and failed miserably) to redeem herself towards the end of Dragon's Lair, I still don't want her with Tracker. He deserves so much better than some skank that slept her way through the MC in order to obtain old lady status! Yuck!
UDPATE...good book! I liked Tracker and Lana's story, however I am in agreement with most reviews that about the 80% percent mark, something happens that makes me think a little less of Tracker, but I was still happy with their outcome and HEA. I'm excited to see where this series goes and who is next!
Better than I remembered, although the first time around was just as great as the second. I forgot how I originally felt in regard of Tracker's prior interest in Faye, but this time... The jealous streak ran long and wide. And felt less animosity toward Ally this time.
DNF - this was just boring— I hate when the h is a secret erotica writer… when that’s the big secret that causes the 3rd act break up it makes for a boring read. It’s just a weak plot— under cover erotica author. Now the H can get mad and get a bj from someone else—like I said weak. I mean who’s on pins and needles waiting for everyone to find out the fmc is an erotica author???? Wow what a mystery. I would think the H would be turning flips to find out his old lady writes erotica. Meh maybe it’s just me…
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
The whole Lana/Anna best friends thing...seriously? That was as creative as it could get? I guess it could have been worse...like Kelly and Ellie or Gemma and Emma. See where I'm going with this???
So this was a carbon of the others in the series. Throw in a nearly (doormat or TSTL) h and a cheaty douche H...don't forget the sexy biker attitude, and voilà...book 3.
The h is a romance writer using a pen name. The H stumbles across her in-progress work on her laptop. He flips out assumes she's writing an exposé about his MC...cuz she'd want to write in depth about the sex too. (*eye-roll*) He refuses to let her explain and chucks her butt to the curb.
After he dumps her cruelly then can't figure his shit out regarding the h, even though he wants the h back, he decides a BJ from another OW would be even better. Mind you, he's still seriously hot for the h. Thankfully it's not graphic, but he tells the h. And that's the kind of cheating I hate...douchey cheating to hurt the other person. Especially because he browbeats the h into forgiving him cuz he's a dude and keeping it in his pants when they were separated for 2 weeks was just so fucking impossible with all the World's pussy at his feet. (*eye-m'fing-roll*) Meanwhile, her thighs were clamped shut.
And how does he climb her walls again and force her to forgive his asshole ways??? He gives her a puppy. That's right, Ladies. Cuz that gives you so many warm fuzzies you just can't even.
Two stars cuz the secondary plot made the reading less painful.
Sometimes I don't understand NetGalley. I requested the first one and got told no. The second one and another no. I said what the heck let's see if I get a strike out. Nope, they gave me this one.
Tracker was yummy, and so sweet for being a bad boy. His MC brothers were pretty hot too. Now I'm really gonna have to go back and read about Arrow and Sin. They say you gotta watch out for the quiet ones, and that was very true of Anna. I think Tracker blew that one scene way out of proportion. Shame on him. I normally love a good epilogue, but this one takes place two years later...really it took that long.
These MC guys sure don't tell their old ladies anything. I have no clue know what they are into other than owning a bar, a repair shop, and a strip club. Maybe that's covered in the first two books. Hopefully I get to read them one day soon.
4 interesting and fun stars for Tracker's End. I remember Tracker from Dragon's Lair, the first book, when he and Dex (Sin) had a problem at one point because of Faye. I liked Tracker then and was so happy he got his own book because he's my secret favorite of the group. I do love Sin (Dex), Rake (Adam), and so on but I think Tracker's always had a a special little place above the rest. Having said all of this, I must admit this book wasn't as amazing as the first two.
Let's start with the positives because the negatives are never fun. First, I love Tracker's persistence. He kept going after what he wanted and proved himself worthy of the object of his affection. Tracker as a whole is an amazing character with his confidence, live life to the fullest attitude, and perverted mind. I love me a sexual guy and Tracker is definitely one.
There's a few things that aren't Tracker specific that I liked, as well. I love Chantal Fernando's writing style, even when I'm not fond of the heroine's voice. I also like how everything swirls to include previous characters as well as shed more light on other characters that will be getting their own story (totally saw Rake being set up in this one).
My biggest issue outside of the too early "I'm in love with you" exchange was the heroine. I'm going to sound so mean but she was pretty awful. She was far too whiny trying to be independent and sassy when coming off as an idiot. It felt like this heroine was just trying too hard for me so I wasn't very fond of her. There were moments when I could deal with her but more times than not I found myself rolling my eyes at her.
Overall, I adore Tracker so this book wasn't a bust and there was some good stuff here. I'm thinking Rake is book four from what we see here and I'm excited since he's into BDSM and has more sex than pretty much the entire MC.

Flove Chantal and Tracker!! Diving in..
Finished! Loved. Review to follow. Thank you.
A hot MC man that feels he is not good enough for the lady that has caught his eye? SIGN ME UP. I love it..Lana was too good in Tracker's eyes so he watched her from afar, not too far, until it all came together and an alliance was formed. The nasty ex, the colorful characters that come along with reading an MC story. Past leads that make their guest appearances in order to keep us up to date. It all leads to a great story, suspense, hot sex, and two people fighting for what they want and deserve in the end! Can't go wrong with a Chantal Fernando story, and this one is no different.
I'm not really sure what the problem is -- is it me or is it the book? Tracker's a huge dick to Lana and the cheesy dialogues didn't help either. This book is endless stupid unnecessary dramas, unnecessary scenes, unnecessary everything. Will I read Rake's book? Yes, I will. But with hesitancy.
I have mixed feelings about this book. Some parts I love and yet some I found they didn't meet up to my expectations.
I loved tracker and how sweet he was and trust me he was from the beginning. Tracker was nothing like Arrow and Sin. You can see how much he wanted and from the beginning he is trying to win and be the best guy for Lana even if he feels like he doesn't deserve her.
“I want you. For as long as you’ll have me.” His face is serious, more serious than I’d ever seen him. “Tracker—” “And you know what else?” he adds, flashing me a lopsided grin. “I know that you’re eventually going to give in. And when you do, it’s going to be fuckin’ perfect. So my dick can wait for you, Lana, because it has your name written all over it.” Can we just say swoon! Yup! He says tons of sweet stuff!
In this book another person from the MC family is murdered by one of their own, a father comes back, and mistakes are made. Holy hell I couldn't put this down and I couldn't read fast enough. I did like how Lana seems shy and unsure to become a biker chick, which I didn't realize she would change so much. But she also has a big surprise of her own which was a nice touch to the story.
I didn't like that most of the books was of Lana's pov but yet we got bits of Trackers now and then but for me it wasn't enough. I would have preferred one chapter Lana and the next tracker and so on. It felt like Lana had more issues then Tracker but since we hardly saw his pov it's like his issues weren't there. And the parts I saw you can see how deep he cares and loves her.
I loved revisiting the past couples and how close they all become. I also enjoy the guys and I wonder about some of them and can't wait for their stories. If only authors and publishers could produce these books faster *grins*
I really hope Bailey and Rake are next because after seeing each other you can tell they have something still and maybe this man can find a forever with the one who got away. And I hope it's starts out from their fight at the bar. *dum dum dum*
All in all I am addicted to this series and I can't wait for all these men to fall. I totally suggest starting from the beginning of this series to learn and understand each character and why they are the way they are. Plus you get to see some of the hardest men fall in love. A wonderful addition to a series I can't get enough of!!!
I know I'm kind of late in editing my review for this, but HOT DAMN! I am just superderuber lucky to have gotten myself an ARC of this precious book!
I knew it!! Tracker is just...... a breath of fresh air. He's not as intense as other bikers. He's fun! He's somewhat a mixture of an alpha yet happy guy!
I love the pairing because it's been highly anticipated since book 2! I can't imagine how Lana must feel, just suddenly being thrust into the biker world. I love how resilient she is though. She's probably my fave girl here because even though she started out as the shy kind of girl, she grew to be an in-your-face one! I enjoyed her banters with Tracker because again, Tracker is such an adorable guy.
Club business wasn't really heavy here. This is probably one of the most light hearted (BUT NOT SUPER LIGHT HEARTED, OKAY?) MC romance books I've ever read and it's all thanks to Tracker. He just has that air of joy around him. Don't get me wrong, he also has issues, but I swear, it's not too deep. I just kinda hated one thing that he did. I mean... The fact that he tried to do it no matter how small it was for him was... :/ Anyway, you'll know when you read this, then you can judge it.
The ending made it all worth it though. It ended as well as it could have for the two of them. It was so nice seeing the lives of the past characters in the background. I love them all.
so i finished this book the same day it released but i hadn't written a review because as much as i liked it, i just didn't love it. i had high hopes for this book going in because lana and tracker stole the show for me in the previous book but as much as i enjoyed it, i felt like not much really happened. it was almost fluffy and sweet and then something happens at 70% that just shit me right off. like, no thanks you utter douche canoe.. paddle away son, because.. no. okay so on topic, good addition to the series and all but i would have liked it even more if SOMETHING happened. whatever, i really like this series and i do recommend it but i had high hopes for this couple and it fell a bit flat.
