I love these books and the entire universe they’re set in. I was expecting a little more chaos from Levi but ultimately loved the story. Excited about Reece’s book especially since we met him as a kid in Jason’s book way back when.

Chaos. Beautiful chaos.
Levi needs the chaos, because only that chaos can give him the control he needs. Until Willow swoops in to save him....more than once. I love the acceptance and understanding Levi and Willow offer each other, even when they know the other is lying by omission. They don't judge, they understand and they fall hard and fast....forever. They fight side by side, they offer trust and they almost die attempting to complete the mission.
I love this series, as I loved the original Guardian Security series.

Good
This book was very entertaining and enjoyable. Much better than the previous one in this series which was incredibly boring.
I do get a bit frustrated with Kris Michaels books because there are so many interconnected characters that it's hard to keep track of them. Then sometimes she infers that people are connected but you don't know quite how. A family tree and connections would be helpful at the beginning of the book. I do not recommend her books unless you read them in order.
I would have liked more backstory on Levi and Willow. But a lesser extent on Willow.
The author does occasionally have some inconsistencies. At one point in the book she had said Willow's dad died of a heart attack and then later she said that he had a crash. Maybe he had a heart attack while he was flying but she didn't actually ever say that. Also there are no mangroves in Venezuela. Finally, the author does tend to overuse trite cliches.
But all that said it's an entertaining book that I would recommend.

Liars and partners
Jungle love has a whole new meaning from the70's hit song, and Berserker AKA Levi and Willow found it in the jungle of Venezuela, both hunting the same mad man for crimes against humanity, her's is a capture mission and his is a finality mission, she's a wiz of a pilot who saved him from the cartel, learning each others specialty, planes and demolition, their chemistry is hotter than the jungle humidity and fireworks on forth of July when they touch, life and death situations change you and your perspective when he you witness the love of your life being taken, he's not waiting for backup, he's going in and living up to his call sign Berserker, what ever it takes, as long as it takes, Guardian motto, a beautiful lifetime of planes and demolition, liars and partners, this book was explosive, pun intended LOL, from beginning to the end, keeping you rivited unable to put it down, another phenomenal hit for Kris Michaels, thank you, Dana Zamora

++++ANOTHER FABULOUS STORY! ++++
What a perfect story this was!! I really enjoyed it!! I own all of the Kris Michaels books that Amazon has released so far and have enjoyed and reread all of them more than once. This newest book proved once again what a creative and talented writer Kris is. It was excellent in every way! The storyline was unique, suspenseful, fast paced and riveting. I read the book in one sitting I was so intrigued with the challenges that faced Willow and Levi! Their partnership and eventual romance was just right, swoony and sweet and charming to read about. I always love how Guardian bends over backwards for their people. It was great to be back in their world. I highly recommend this book. Just like me, I bet, you won't be able to put it down until you find out how these two wonderful characters fared! 😇

Love how strong Willow is and how she helps Levi without second thoughts.
Willow is a contractor for CIA and Levi works for Guardian. They are both after the same person but for different reasons. Her mission is to bring the bad guy back to the CIA for questioning and prosecution. Levi's mission is to eliminate the bad guy and as many of his cronies as possible. But when things go sideways quickly, will Willow step up to help Levi? Can the together to get to the bad guys? What happens when Willow is shot in the shoulder and kidnapped buy the bad guys before Levi can get back to her? So he be able to find her before we is hurt more? Will his backup arrive in time to help rescue them?

Kris Michaels has another big time winner on her hands wth Veil of Vengeance. Levi and Willow become liars and partners as they pursue the same objective but each with their own end goal. She's his match in every way. His lives to create chaos with explosives. He does so with innovation and precision. She can fix just about anything that flies by listening to it "talk" and being innovative and inventive in the repairs. Their trek through the Venezuelan jungles is harrowing and danger filled. They manage to stay one step ahead of cartel members with the help of Guardian. Levi certainly didn't expect to fall for Willow nor she with him but it happened. Thee are quite of few edge of your seat moments and you'll love how it all comes together in the end.

OMG! Kris has done it again! This story is about Levi and Willow. The way this couple meet is truly awesome! Willow was flying supplies to a CIA outpost when Levi waved at her like she was a taxi with a smile on his face. That's how he got his nickname from Willow - "Sunshine". Willow landed the plane, he jumped on and she took off - so did their relationship. They each had a mission on the same target but totally different outcomes. Levi's outcome won. The ending was so intense and a bit heartbreaking but this couple survived. Now they both are back to work with Guardian. FANTASTIC job Kris! I would highly recommend this book!

Outstanding!!!!!
Absolutely loved it. Its so hard to wait between books. As usual you outdid yourself again. I don't know how but I've been with you since book 1 and whenever I get bored and need a good book I go back and reread all your books. Your books are so well written, action packed great M and F leads and always a HEA. I don't like to give away the storyline like some reviews do but I just want readers to know you will not be disappointed if you like sexy, militarylike, action packed, well written sagas!

Didn't want to put it down...
This book is amazing! It is awesome when the male and female main characters of a book are both badass! All of the words I keep coming up with to describe how much I loved this book would spoil the read, so I'm going to just say this. If you are new to Kris Michaels, you will love this book as it is...but reading the series in order brings the enjoyment to a whole new level. I highly recommend locating her reading list and enjoying ALL of her series by publication order! You won't regret it!

Oh my... that was absolutely epic!
Levi and Willow's wonderful story was thrilling from start to finish.....
Mistaking Willow's plane as his extraction, and luckily, she followed her instincts, Levi and Willow's relationship got off to a shaky start with mistrust on both sides!
She saves a badly injured Guardian more than once, but it was Levi who came to her rescue when it really mattered!
Fantastic storyline with superb characters and an awesome HEA.
It was great to catch up with Charley, Smoke, Lycos, Joseph and Ember.
I'm so looking forward to Reece's story, I can't wait!

They reign destruction on the bad guys. They have an easy understanding of each other. They cannot a it who they work for. They agree to be partners and liars. The mission goes critical. Levi will scorch the Earth for Willow. Phantom is in and out. Maliki!!! And Poet make an appearance. Love seeing them. Lycos appears. One of my most favorite books by the way!!! Good read.

What can l say, another winner from Kris Micheals. Downloaded as soon as it was available and read in one day (who needs to dust and run the hover round anyway). I just love the Guardian Series. The men are swoon-worthy with a strong moral code and you never get a wimpy useless woman they can all hold their own. my only issue was that l thought this was more a novelette than a full book. Can’t wait for the next in the series.

Favorite of the Dynasty series so far!
Have never read a Kris Micheals book that I didn’t enjoy but this one had something special that I hadn’t felt since the original OG. Levi and Willow had that magical connection from the start. They didn’t run from it, they just plowed straight through did their jobs and let their connection grow. Kept you engaged throughout the whole book with all the feels.

Liars a partners!
Wow! What a story! This is non stop action from beginning to end , I absolutely loved it. Levi and Willow face so many obstacles but somehow scrape through by the skin of their teeth. I love how their personalities meshed perfectly and how , despite them having completely different skill sets, they each understood the underlying rhythm of the other. Superb book !

Ms Micheals never disappoints!
It starts with you on the edge of your seat and stays that way until the end.
Willow is a strong CIA operative who doesn’t know the meaning of quit. She’s been undercover flying supply runs and watching a cartel.
Levi is a Guardian and finds himself in a very bad spot. Until he looks up and sees a plane. Willow sees a man in trouble and decides to get him out with bullets flying at her plane.
Great read!

Best of the series so far!
This is what the Guardians series is all about, plenty of action, intense situations, banter, friendships, lovers, found family.
We see a few of our favourite originals in this next generation story, but not enough to overpower Z and Willow’s story.
The only negative was Z aka Levi gets injured….a lot and Willow patches him up, I felt his injuries would have killed me, so bravo to Z for surviving that! It’s fiction I knowwww 🤣😂

On the Sound
What do you do when life changes for the better? Not sure? Some people would move and some would stay put. Some would not accept the blessing because they felt unworthy. Some would accept the blessing but still feel guilty. This view into Levi’s life made me think about my own choices and my future. Great read whenever you pick it up. Kris has hit another home run.

Another shadow finds his peace
I loved reading Her Berserker's story of finding his peace and love. Who would have guessed that he would find so.some who would fill the whole in his heart that needed filling in a jungle? How would a contractor pilot capture the heart of a Shadow with a surprise plane pick up and a sassy attitude? There is harrowing danger, chases, explosions and plane crashes galore in this story. And the beginning of a sweet enduring love. So good.

Once again Kris Michaels gives us a great read.
An insane demolition expert and
a crazy pilot meet up searching for the same cartel leader, all be it, with different endings in mind.
This leads to some scary, risky, humorous escapades that will keep you turning the page until the end.

OH MY GOODNESS
I always love the Guardian books but this one trumps them all!
Levi is addictive , and Willow is irresistible , together DYNAMITE, PUNN INTENDED.
Loved the story line and kept putting it down to do something else trying to make it last longer.
Can’t wait for Reece’s story.

OMG
I'm tired out from my legs bouncing up and down from all the action and suspense. Kris Michaels does it again. I can't get enough of Guardian world. This book has nail biting action from start to finish. It is really good to have some characters from the past make an appearance. You won't want to miss this one!

exciting
Great story, under cover pilot making drops ends up helping a guardian agent who injured and on the run from the cartel. Two people trapped and trying to outrun the bad guys finding out the only one they can count on is each other. I loved this story really good for the start .

Twists and turns and action packed with some serious magnetism between two great characters make this a phenomenal read! And I had chills and teared up a few times just to name some of my emotions brought forth from this epic adventure created by a wonderful author. Excellent as always.
Fast lazer action, intelligent banter, raw emotions, fevered bravery and so hot in the development of loyalty and intimacy between the two main characters. I love Beserker and needed for him to have a love interest worthy of his character. Well done all!

Its an amazing book when your hero is running from battle to battle and having so much fun with his Liar/Partner! Twists, turns, love and beauty! Its got it all! I love stepping into another world with Guardians. Taking me places I could never afford and showing me the world! Thank you MS Michaels for another outstanding novel! Keep them coming, please!

April 30, 2026The distances in the jungle that they're traversing in the shape they are in are distracting. An NDA is a piece of paper. It has as much power as a protective order. It has consequences after the disclosure. I think as cynical as some of her characters are, KM believes in the system and that it will work the way it's supposed to. I guess I envy her for that.

Willow and Levi
I really enjoyed this book and could not put it down. It was very action packed, edge-of-your-seat, and I read it in one sitting. I loved the connection between Levi and Willow. As they said, liars and partners. And I loved how (and why!) Willow called Levi Sunshine. Great book!
I really enjoyed this book and could not put it down. It was very action packed, edge-of-your-seat, and I read it in one sitting. I loved the connection between Levi and Willow. As they said, liars and partners. And I loved how (and why!) Willow called Levi Sunshine. Great book!

March 31, 2026Kris Michaels never disappoints. Her characters are always well drawn and these two are no different. I'm in love with this new Guardian Dynasty. A perfect blend of the Old Guard (OG) and the new. I'm looking forward to many more years in the Guardian Universe.
