Earnestly written, but there are better choices out there
Hadley is clearly enthusiastic, and the book is well-written, but sometimes seems to contradict some of the things I've read previously about ADF. The organization of the material works well, but I did notice that he often says, "studies show" or "research indicates" without letting us know, even in endnotes, what those studies are. I believe the bio said he's a reporter, so he should know better.
An overview of what alternate day fasting is, how to prepare for it, and how to implement it.
The book talks about how to work the plan, potential fast food meals that meet the fasting day calorie count, along with other good recipes. It also covers tracking your progress and then how to keep the weight off when you achieve your goal. A worthwhile read.
