After the power grid collapses in a brutal winter, May fights to keep her small team alive in a frozen wilderness. When strangers appear from the storm with secrets of their own, she discovers the cold is not the only danger closing in.
As soon as I see EMP I'm automatically interested and this book was pretty good. But if I'm honest, I skimmed it quite a bit. There was a lot of repetition and over explained things especially in the beginning and I really wish there were more climax points. I felt like the most interesting things were not added as strongly as they could've been and if they were hit on a lot harder it would've carried my interest more. The three men at the end were intriguing but they only lasted for maybe 2 pages. I would've loved to see more go into that. I did love seeing May take over as leader and I liked her a lot in this book. Other than that I did enjoy this book and would probably pick it up again.

Worth every star. Found the details of each piece of equipment in the station a bit tedious....but, the interaction between the characters grabbed my attention and held it throughout.
