Sorry. DNF for Me

This was a DNF for me. I rarely do that but I couldn’t get farther than chapter 10. There was just too much repetition and inaccuracies.
Between chapters 3 and 4, Julia says she gets off work at 6am but the book said at 9a Logan got up and stretched. Then it went back to 6a. Also it says Logan called the local car dealership and made an anonymous donation of $20,000 for Julia. Then later he wrote a check for $20,000 for Julia to lower the price of her car.
There are multiple duplications of Julia’s walls she’s built around herself. There are also inaccuracies surrounding the age of Julia’s daughter, Storm. At one point we’re told Storm’s father left when she was an infant. Another said she was 4 years old and remembers her father.
The only reason for two stars instead of one is because the book started out good and the premise was good.
I wouldn’t recommend this book unless it was edited and rewritten.

DNF after 5 chapters!

If I could give this book 0 stars I would. A firefighter and nurse romance book? Sounds amazing! It is not.

It is so inconsistent. One minute she's driving to work and the next minute Logan is pulling up to her driveway at home?

One morning she gets a phone call from Logan but the next morning she realises she doesn't have his phone number?

Glad I stopped when I did, saved a lot of time.

This was a quick read... with a lot scanning the page. My rating would be 2.5 stars but I've rounded it up to 3. The book really does need some serious editing as there are numerous duplications and inaccuracies throughout the story.
I did like the two main characters so I kept with it.

Hope this work will be edited and republished because honestly the premise is amazing and the story was good but just so many repetitions and inconsistencies. It felt like the two main characters always had the same conversation and after the shooting, the injury of the mother went from liver failure to kidney failure. There are many more inconsistencies like that. Still story is good.

DNF for me (which is weird). Inaccurate info between and within chapters. The pacing hot very strange, and sooooo many arcs, it doesn’t allow for any of them to have substance.

Nice romance. Side story about the shooting went nowhere. And you could make a drinking game regarding the editing errors (e.g., Julia's wearing nothing but a towel, she drops it, then Logan undresses her).

I absolutely loved this one! It's book 2 in the series and I would recommend reading them in order. Single mom and nurse Julia meets firefighter Logan. They have great chemistry and overcome so much together. I adore Logan's relationship with both Julia and her daughter Storm.
