When a storm shatters their Alaskan kayak expedition, Mason Harlon and his father are thrown into a nightmare. Their boats are gone. The sea is freezing. And the wilderness doesn't forgive mistakes.

Stranded and hunted on a remote island in the Kodiak Archipelago, Mason must draw on every skill his father ever taught him-because out here, one wrong step means death.
But the fight for survival soon becomes more than physical. Haunted by guilt over his mother's death, Mason discovers that staying alive means confronting the past as fiercely as the storm ahead.

Kodiak blends relentless wilderness survival with an emotional journey of loss, faith, and second chances

Inspiring

A story that hit home on many levels for me, even the afterword from the author. Where a person learns just driving on is sometimes harder than anything else, harder than giving up.

Very well written. Sitting on the edge of your seat thrilling but also heart warming. I highly recommend this book.
