3 stars ⭐️ Back-to-back-to-back F1 romances. In this one, we have two F1 drivers with a missed connection, who now find themselves in a fake dating relationship. While this was a fun read with good banter, it left me wanting more in a lot of ways.
Most significantly, the book did suffer a bit from white room syndrome. There was a level of over-clarification about how the sport works, but simple character and setting details were missing throughout.
What this book did really well was highlighting the struggles of being a headstrong female driver in such a male dominated field. It reminded me a lot of Hat Trick by Chelsea Curto in that way. So, if you are a casual sports romance fan looking for strong fmc representation, I would recommend Racing Hearts.
As always, thank you to Hera Books and NetGalley for this advanced reader copy, and for the opportunity to give my honest feedback.
