The first time Cartier sees him, he literally makes her mind skip a beat. He's one of her BFF's brother- in-law and smexy enough to make a woman make bad decisions. When her friend stands across the room and texts her about her ogling him, she texts back and describes in detail what she would like for him to do. Then she looks up and realizes that he's reading her steamy text over her friend's shoulder, he looks up and his eyes turn her into a puddle! She knows right then that he's a dangerous man yet she still wants him.
Things between them progress VERY quickly as he shows her a whole new world that she never knew existed but he has a side to him that scares her and makes her "safety" alarms go off.
Andrej accidentally or rather, purposefully read her text over her friend's shoulder and can't get it and her out of his mind. He's his brother's Under-Boss and a notorious womanizer who's never been serious about any woman. Yet he wants to take her out of her bookworm routine and show her how to have fun. He wants her but it's different than it's been with anyone else and he knows once he has a taste of her that he won't let her go.
But, can she accept him as he is? The part who loves her as well as the OTT love of a Bratva that will end anyone that tries to take her from him?
When the past shows up, it leads her mind in several different directions. Who has her best interest in mind? Is she just a pawn? How much is truth and who's lying?
One thing for sure, someone is going to FAAFO just how vicious he can be when they mess with the one he loves!
Steamy, he falls first and hard. I love this book and recommend it be added to your library.

You might want to make sure to double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love along the way. Cartier sees him at he makes an impression her best friends brother -in-law when her best friend text her from across the room to tell her to stop looking so hard and of course she replies like only us girls will do with what she would like for him to maybe with her in detail only to look up realizing he is actually reading the text over her friends shoulder …..oh my, my, my 😊. Andrej sexy as all get out bratva dangerous, ruthless on a good day, deadly every day, rarely smiles but when he does you get caught up in that beautiful smile, but 99% he scowls the other 10% ruthless look which you don’t want him looking at you with and the moment he reads that text something shifts in him wanting her. But she senses something dangerous about him even before meeting him but he didn’t get to be the under boss to his brother without putting in the work so he plans to show his little bookworm how to have fun upon getting to know her he realizing she is different and if they continue he isn’t going to let her go …truth be told he isn’t going to let her go she is his he has no problem making a believer out of her but will she see past his lifestyle, when the past comes knocking will she realize she has always been just a pawn or will he show her just how crazy he will get when someone puts their hands on his girl, and will they find happiness along the way?

Love this book! At the first meeting between Cartier and Andrej sparks enough tension to light the page on fire. What starts as an ordinary introduction becomes unforgettable the moment at the hospital following his brother’s twin girls. Andrej accidentally gets a glimpse of the text thread Cartier sent her friend—a thread that reveals far more than Cartier ever intended a handsome stranger to see.
This single moment becomes the catalyst for a story that blends humor, heat, vulnerability, and emotional depth.

You will laugh and cry but won’t regret reading about this love story.

A text takes an exciting turn when the man she was texting about actually reads it and jumpstarts their path. This is one of my favorites by Vivy. I loved Andrej and how Cartier had him off of his game and into her wanting to get to know Cartier and make her his. It is romantic, filled with drama and had e connecting with these two as I laughed and cheered them on to getting their chance for happiness.

Another fantastic story from the author, brimming with suspense, action, danger, betrayal, and secrets—all the things Andrej and Cartier face, not to mention the many steamy moments. I thoroughly enjoyed their journey, and it's definitely a must-read.

The MFC was an Idiot.
The MMC resembled a frat boy more than hardened Bratva. Apparently all it takes is a scar on one's lip to make one seem lethal.
The plot was ludicrous.
There was no sexting involved. The title is complete click-bait.
The romance rewrote the definition of Insta-love.
There was a plethora of the word, "dripping."
Just. No.

Good grief girl, get it together. She is near cardiac arrest upon meeting Andrej. She is so flustered. All she can do is think dirty thoughts about him. He knows it too. I DNF because this just doesn't make sense to me, and it's probably not supposed to. Just not for me.
