Truly appreciated the unfolding history of my favorite sport and pastime; I thought it was well written , informative and an enjoyable read. I would have given a 5 star rating if the author included some appreciation of Dodger legends of the 50's, 60's, including Vin Scully.

This book to me back 65 years ago to when I first started following MLB. Many childhood memories, especially the M&M Boys and the superstars of the ‘60s.

This book analyzes different eras and players in the history of baseball. The imagery reads like a prose poem. It is a joy to read.
