She’s got enough malocchio and bad luck to last her a lifetime. So when she lightly taps a guy with her car, she’s hoping he hasn’t crossed into the afterlife and has only suffered a mild concussion. With her bad luck, the guy lying in the middle of the street is mega hot and Katie wants nothing more than a few hot and sweaty nights with him.
Except the guy doesn’t bite and Katie has to wonder why a nerdy guy like him wouldn’t want to be with a hot-as-hell girl like her? Seriously. It’s not like she’s looking for a relationship, especially when she doesn’t believe in love in the first place.
It doesn’t take long for Katie to realize that Dean Carter is someone from her past, someone she left behind a long time ago, and he’s stirring up feelings she thought died an excruciating death back in high school.
With her bad luck causing her enough strife, and her relationships in turmoil, Katie has to wonder – is she nerdy enough to keep a guy like Dean Carter to infinity and beyond?
Or does the fact that she's never been nerdy going to ruin her one shot at true love?

Come and tell me what you're fangirling/nerding/geeking out over!
Okay so I was blown away by C.M Kars with her first book, but this one? Not so much.
I have such a high hope for this, but it all went down the drain by the not so likeable heroin.
I actually Dnfed this, cause eventhough there's a slight humour in it, Katie's character killed all the funny vibes. I don't like her. Her character is well, the blonde with no brain. A bitch which I hate the most!
I really like Dean, but I didn't have much time to dive into because I didn't finished this. If only, the heroine is a little easy and likeable I could've finish this in one sitting.
So my sincere advice is, only read the first book because seriously this one can really get into your nerve.
The two stars are purely for Dean, who is so delicious I want to wrap him up in chocolate and gorge myself on him. And for Sera finally getting a back bone and standing up for herself against the raging bitch egomaniac that is Katie. Our 'heroine' Katie has a total of zero redeeming qualities. Her momma cheated on her dad over 10 years ago and she decides that this gives her the right to become a massively mean drama queen. 'My mom doesn't love my dad anymore, so Love doesn't exist. Whoa is me.' All this teenage angst in a twenty-six year old is beyond pathetic.
She treats Dean like shit in high school when they dated. Not just treated like shit but destroyed. She humiliated and traumatized him in front of the whole school all because he told her he loved her and her parents were fighting and heading for divorce so she couldn't deal with all the feels she was having. She had the poor boy pantsed in the caf. Then he comes back into her life and she doesn't even recognize him! Then she sets out to use him for sex and knowingly hurt him.
Meanwhile her best friend is miscarrying her baby and she is yelling at her to be there for her because she needs some soothing because Dean, rightly so, told her to fuck off and get over herself. Then she abandons her hurting best friend because she doesn't believe in love, is jealous of her, and thinks that Sera is going to destroy Matty's life when she decides to dump Hunter - because Katie believes that Hunter and Matt having diabetes is a burden on Sera (mostly because Sera has to give up junk food) and that Sera will eventually leave them.
The fucked-uppery going on in Katie's head is so beyond stupid. There are no logical processes happening at all. And to make matters worse she blames everything that happens in her life on her grandmother who supposedly cursed her as a baby. Yes, she believes this! Let's just leave it at the fact that Katie's brain is not exactly firing all synapses.
Anyhow, I skimmed through most of the scenes that did not involve Sera or Dean because it's quite possible that I have never hated a book character as much as Katie.

Do you ever have a author after finishing 1 or 2 books and you can't stop asking for more?
Well this author is definitely one of them i loved K (Katarina) since the first book while reading about Sera and Maclaine and who could ever forget Matty :) by the author this book to me was amazing i loved how the book transitioned from funny to serious, and gives you the feeling of never wanting to stop reading Katie is the girl with unbreakable walls and she has been fighting this for many years even though she has best friend you can see that she cant even let herself be a good friend let alone let herself love someone most when its someone you knew i tried as hard as you can to forget then come dean hot, tall ,and sexy man that anyone could want for night but turns out the its the only guy she ever truly hurt. this book is a book about karma and forgiving i thought it was a great book and i would recommend everyone to read it but then again i can always say C.M. Kars never let her reader down.
Finding C.M. Kars is like finding a gold coin on the beach before the crowd has gathered. Never Been Kissed is one of my favorite books.
This sequel is a good second effort on her part. She took a huge risk making the female lead (K/Katie/Katarina) very unlikeable (i.e., a total bitch) through much of the book and an even huger risk making her a bad friend to Sera (beloved heroine from book 1). Dean was a fantastic book boyfriend, completely smoldering hot, sweet and a talented chef. I liked the trope of first loves reconnecting after heartbreak and many years apart. I thought K/Katie/Katarina's redemption happened a little suddenly to wrap up the story. It didn't feel like she earned this redemption in the eyes of Sera and Dean (particularly after learning what Sera went through while Katie froze her out). What bummed me about Dean is that he was the same type of nerd as Sera (sci fi and comics/same verbal nerd flair). I was hoping he'd be a chemist or a computer programmer just to differentiate from Sera....I imagine the author still has Sera's voice in her head...hope she will use this to write for Sera again.
I wish she had focused this sequel on Sera and McLaine, as they experienced multiple major life events during this book that were only touched upon. For the first major life event, we don't even know how McLaine reacted. It could have been very bad considering his diabetes and their financial limitations. I hope Ms. Kars will still write this book. There are other authors (e.g., Ritchie sisters, Addicted/Calloway Sisters series) that have multiple books from the same time period told from different characters' point of view.
Who knew that what started as a minor accident could change your life forever? Growing up, Katie wasn't always the nicest person. What she did, she did for a reason. When her parents divorced, she realized that love doesn't really exist, and sooner or later, all couples separate because one will hurt the other. That wasn't happening to her - she would keep her heart closed off and no one would be able to hurt her. Flash forward 10 years, and Katie is still keeping people at bay, and getting worried about Hunter and Sera. They can't really be in love, and who's going to help Sera when Hunter breaks up with her, or vice versa? Enter, the accident. When Katie accidentally hits a guy with her car, her whole life is turned upside down. Enter Dean ("His name is Dean?" "Would you like me to find you a Sam so you can have the complete set?"). He's gorgeous, a Viking by her standards, and Thor-like according to Sera. Katie wants to have him just for right now - until she realizes why he looks so familiar.
Adorable story, CM Kars never disappoints. Though Katie can be harsh from time to time, you understand her enough to know that there is a reason for everything she's done. I would recommend this to any of my friends and cannot wait for more!!
Never Been Kissed is one of my favorite stories of all time, so I was a little nervous going into reading Never Been Nerdy. Within three sentences I was already laughing so hard that tears began to roll. We were introduced to Katie in NBK, but I had no idea the background that she had. And Dean...oh Dean. He is the stuff dreams are made of. I found that both characters could have seriously bipolar moments, but it was to be expected. The best part of the book comes in the final chapters, with the very ending making me cry from the pull at the heart-strings. The only part that I found truly annoying was Russia, would that guy please go back to the motherland!
If you loved NBK you'll like NBN, but nothing compares to Sara and Hunter's relationship. The good thing is you see a lot of them in NBN!
The only reason this book is getting two stars instead of one is because of Dean. He was awkward, sweet, thoughtful, and caring while Katie was the complete opposite. She was a gigantic bitch to everyone for 90% of the book while she strung Dean right along, then in the last 10% she realized she loved Dean and decided to finally stop jerking him around. Katie was a horrible, selfish, and insulting friend and "girlfriend" who always seemed to make everything about her and never failed to blame everyone but herself for her own problems. I can't believe that someone as good as Dean would want someone like Katie, let alone wait 10 years for her after she publicly humiliated him. You're supposed to want to root for the hero or heroine, but Katie was the embodiment of everything I despise about a main character.
Um... I loved Sera's book thousand times than this. Everything was good. Especially Sera parts. But I didn't like Katie much. She kinda made me wanna tear myself into two, with the way she was acting. In the end all turned out good...still...something was missing. Anyways,C.M.Kars,do add more amazing nerdy books in the series. And include Sera more and more. Or maybe you should write another book on her altogether. That way I get to read more about her. :D:D
In NBK I was hooked to Sera and Hunter....adored them both, loved their story and couldn't get enough. So when I saw that Katie had one I immediately bought it and couldn't wait to get started. Sadly, I was not a fan. I loved the writing and there were plenty of LOL moments, but I was not a fan of Katie. Dean, seriously where can I get one? So instead of the 5 stars I knocked it down to 3 because I just wasn't a fan of the lead. But if she continues the series I am definitely looking forward to the next one!
It wasn't great but it wasn't terrible. Katie was impossible to like. It was really hard to read through her insanity for 75% of the story. Of course we liked her from the first book, but we discover she is NOT awesome like we were hoping and it wasn't pleasant at all. Now Dean...he redeemed the entire book. He was beyond awesome. Mostly it was just hard to enjoy because of all the meanness flowing out of Katie. The last few chapters were good though...
I loved the first book but this one, not so much. The heroine was too mean and nasty to everyone including the hero. I would not have been as forgiving as he was and I don't see where she redeemed herself at all.
Main characters: Katie and Dean Minor characters: Sera (Katie's best friend), Hunter (Sera's boyfriend), Tommy aka Russia (Sera and Katie's friend)
My thoughts: This book was just ok. It had the same plot jumping problems the other two books had. It seemed like conversations or thoughts started in the middle of a sentence. It was hard to keep up.
I feel like Katie was barely in book 1, so why would I care about her in book 2. She wasn't that likeable, and she never really got better. She had issues over relationships lasting because of her parents, she thought she was better than everyone and she was cursed. It felt like these issues were fighting for prominence in the story, which meant neither one was fully developed. It's mentioned that her parents divorced when she was in high school because her mom met someone else. Katie knew about it and kept it a secret for 3 years. That would have made for an interesting plot point. It would have been a good story to read about her guilt and disappointment with her parents and how that affected her current relationships. But that isn't what happened. Then the curse came in. Sometimes things happened because of the curse and sometimes it was because relationships don't work. It was just too many excuses.
None of Katie's actions felt forgivable but everyone forgave her so easily and just chalked it up to Katie being Katie. It never felt like she grew up throughout the story. I can understand her lashing out when she feels vulnerable but nothing stuck. She said she wouldn't be friends with Sera anymore and said hurtful things and then she changed her mind and Sera forgave her instantly. She humiliated Dean and he crumbled to her instantly. It all could have been so much more if it had been handled differently.
I assume there will be more books, most likely focusing on Tommy since he was the only other character to get mentioned more than once.
Synopsis: Katie met Dean in high school and they began a relationship. They were each others firsts. He started to tell her he was in love with her around the same time her parents got divorced. (Her mother had begun an affair 3 years earlier and Katie found out. Katie thought it was a one time thing and kept it a secret from her father.) She decides relationships don't work out and people just get hurt. And her dad told her she's just like her mother anyway so what's the point. She gets the boys at school to pants Dean in the cafeteria and he's humiliated. She never spoke to him again and he knew she was behind the prank.
Ten years later she hits someone with her car while on her way to meet Sera. The guy is fine but she decides to take him to the hospital just to be sure. She's instantly attracted to him and decides the best way to make it up to him is to sleep with him.
Sera joins her at the hospital and becomes fast friends with the guy, Dean. Katie is jealous of how quick Sera and Dean bonded and how much they have in common. She realizes Dean has an instant crush on Sera.
Dean has to stay overnight so the next day Sera picks him up. She offers him sex and he turns her down. She doesn't understand and he tells her she's the last person he'd ever sleep with and he can't believe she doesn't remember him.
She talks to Sera and Sera tells her it's the same Dean she humiliated in high school. Katie feels terrible and decides she needs Dean's forgiveness to move on with her life.
She gets a call from Tommy (aka Russia) asking for her help in breaking up Sera and Hunter. Tommy tells her he wants to be with Sera and that he can provide better for her than Hunter can. Katie starts to think of how much sacrificing Sera has done with her diet and lifestyle due to Matty and Hunters diabetes, and all the responsibility that comes with having a child, and decides Tommy would be a better choice so she agrees to help.
Katie goes to see Dean and tells him she wants to sleep with him. He keeps turning her down. He tells her maybe they can be friends, but he has moments where he remembers how bad she treated him and he gets upset with her.
She goes out to lunch with Sera and Sera confides she might be pregnant. She gets her a test and they find out Sera is pregnant.
Katie's mother is getting remarried and demands Katie show up to the engagement dinner. Katie doesn't want to go and ends up getting into a fight with Dean. He tells her he wants to be friends and she tells him she just wants to sleep with him. He tells her he wants nothing to do with her and kicks her out. He apologizes by text later.
She goes to see him again after being with Sera and Hunter and tries again. He tells her she's a terrible person and doesn't compare to Sera. She gets furious and upset. He tells her he would feel terrible about himself if he slept with someone like her.
She's upset and calls Sera to get drunk with her but Sera says no. Katie can't believe it and starts yelling at her and telling her to get her fat ass away from Hunter and to go with her. Sera gets mad at her and tells her not to speak to her like that. Sera tries to ask what's wrong and Katie tells her it's none of her business anymore and hangs up.
She goes to her mothers dinner and gets drunk. She makes a bit of a scene with her mother and they argue. She asks why she wasn't good enough for her mother to stay and her mothers fiancé gets mad at her for embarrassing them. She tells them she won't be at the wedding and leaves.
She ends up at Deans house and he apologizes for what he said. She tells him he was right and that she is awful. She ends up sleeping on his couch.
The next day they go for a walk and she tells him everything. She tells him she did those things to him to make herself feel better because her parents were fighting all the time and her dad took it out on her. He gets upset and tells her he doesn't want to see her again. She says ok but he instantly changes his mind. They decide to be friends.
One day she gets a call from Hunter asking for help. She meets him and he asks her for her opinion on the engagement ring he's getting for Sera. She gets jealous and upset and goes back to see Dean. She tries to get him to sleep with her again and he turns her down. He talks with her and she tells him she thought she'd be married first and she's jealous of the relationship Sera and Hunter have.
She gets a call from Sera telling her she's engaged. Sera tells her she miscarried and lost the baby on the day Katie called and demanded she go to engagement dinner. Katie feels terrible and Sera tells her she didn't have to be so mean to her. They start to argue and Sera tells her she's going to be her maid of honor. Katie feels even worse and tells Sera no and that she needs to stay away from her because she's a terrible person.
She cries in Deans bathroom and he comforts her. He makes her hot chocolate and starts to tell her about his perfect girl, she realizes right away it's the opposite of her. She tells him about her mothers wedding and the curse and decides he should stay away from her too.
He calms her down and they spend the night watching movies. He tells her he's attracted to her but he knows she's not into relationships. He knows he is and that until they can get in the same page things can't happen between them.
She goes to see Sera and apologize. She tells Sera she can't be her maid of honor because she'll ruin the wedding. Sera tells her she feels sorry for her because she's too scared to take a chance on love. They argue and Katie tells Sera she thinks she'll ruin Matty when her and Hunter break up. Sera tells her to leave.
She goes home depressed and crying and Dean comes by to see her. He thought she was sick so he made her soup. She feels miserable and tries to get him to kiss her. He turns her down. He tells her he wants her but she's not ready yet. They watch a movie on her couch and he tries to kiss her cheek. She turns and their mouths connect. His dog interrupts them. She ends up falling asleep. When he wakes her so he can leave she tells him to just stay over in her bed and she'll take the couch. He ends up staying but carrying her to her bed. He gets in with her but she falls asleep before anything can happen.
The next week he's distant in the phone. She offers to see him later but he invites her along with him anyway. They end up meeting his brother at his fathers grace. She feels like it's too personal of a moment to be there but he holds her hand and doesn't let her leave. He talks to his dad and tells him he reconnected with Katie. And that he used to be in love with her. He asks for his dad's advice because Katie messes with his brain.
When he's done he asks Katie if he can kiss her and she says yes. When they stop he asks if she wants to go to his place or hers. She asks if he's sure and he says yes.
They go back to her place and he tries to get her naked. She tries to comfort him with food. He's so focused on getting her clothes off that he won't look at her face. She starts to think maybe he's imagining someone else and asks him to say her name. He realizes what he's doing and he feels bad. He apologizes and tells her he wants her but not when he's torn up inside and can't pay attention to her. That makes her feel bad and she makes them dinner.
After dinner he kisses her and they fool around in the couch. He uses his mouth on her and takes her to bed where they finally have sex. He tells her he loves her. He knows she can't return the words but he wants to be with her to prove his feelings are real.
She goes to see her dad and her dad tells her to let go of the guilt and curse stuff. He tells her he knew her mother was cheating but he thought she'd choose him. He tells her he's partly to blame and none of it was Katie's fault.
She goes to see Sera to apologize. They reconcile and she starts to tell Sera she's in love with Dean, but Sera already knows. She also tells her that Tommy wants to break her and Hunter up. Sera isn't worried about him.
She waits for him at his apartment before he gets home from work. When he gets there he looks exhausted but she decides to tell him she's in love with him anyway. He orders the dogs back into their cages and tells her he needs to check on something. She takes that as rejection and tries to leave but he comes back and stops her. They spend the night together.
She meets with Tommy and tries to tell him she thinks Sera and Hunter are forever. He doesn't listen and tells her he already bought Sera an engagement ring that cost a lot of money. She tries to explain that he doesn't know Sera as well as he thinks he does if he thinks an expensive ring is what Sera wants. He doesn't listen.
She gives the toast at Sera and Hunters wedding. She talks about how Sera is the best person and its up to Hinter to keep her happy or else. Tommy is miserable at the wedding but she and Dean are happy.

I didn't exactly like Katie, the heroine, though I didn't hate her. I liked that she is honest about what she wants. However, I don't like bullies. What she did to Dean in high school is awful. I honestly don't understand how Dean could forgive Katie.
Furthermore, sometimes, Katie was so full of anger that it was hard to sympathize with her. But her anger and pain are understandable. I feel sorry for her.
As for Dean, the hero, he seems like a homophobe. When Katie asked him if he was gay for the first time, he became angry. Well, it's possible that he was angry for a different reason, but it still felt homophobic. Other than that, I liked him. He's sweet.
So this woman is mean, doesn't believe in love, treats her friends badly, hates her mother (who's not very nice); she's the perfect romantic heroine. And this is the sequel to Never Been Kissed, so there's more diabetic misinformation and gloom. Who knew that Type 1 diabetes meant your life is a shadow of what it could have been if you were a "whole" person? Kars needs to talk to an endocrinologist from THIS century, or even the twentieth. The melodrama is overblown.
Couldn’t finish. Only made chapter 4. Couldn’t stand her. I don’t like reading about characters that are totally a$$e$. Who wants to root for the happiness of someone who is so awful to others. Not me.
The author's writing is smooth. Not too wordy or descriptive. I really liked the first book in the series, but this book was awful and the only reason was Katie, the heroine. Katie needs help. She needs to see someone for her "evil" ways and behavior. She is just a bad and hurtful person. A bully and a bad friend.
Not every BFF needs her own story. Sera's "BFF" did not need her own story. Dean needs another book to make up for this. A good man like Dean would NEVER want someone who was so cruel. For all the awful and hurtful things that Katie said and did...the last 10% of the book does not make up for it. Everything she did was unforgivable.
I kept reading to get more Sera and Hunter. But by 45%, I was using X-Ray to find every section that had Sera and/or Hunter. I recommend doing that if you just want more Hunter and Sera. Knowing that Sera calls Katie her BFF after all the bad things she does will make you sad.
Some hurtful scenes:
Katie is just the type of heroine and BFF I loathe.
Don’t’ start this book if you have someplace to be, because once you get started you won’t want to emerge until the very end. This is the second book of the Never Been series and it does not disappoint. While the story line has a substantial amount of heat, there is also a solid foundation about two people exploring the possibilities of a relationship. I loved Dean – because what’s not to love about a nerdy boy who loves to feed you and looks good doing it?
The chemistry between Katie and Dean radiates from every page but it’s the emotional turmoil of the relationship that definitely captured my attention. I don’t want to give away too much of the plot, but I will say that I’ve read some reviews about how some people can’t connect with the MC Katie. Yes, she’s brash and has some emotional baggage that she needs to work through, but I’m glad I stuck it out because everyone deserves their own HEA.
However, I like that when Dean made up his mind about him and Katie, about them as a couple, that's it. C.M. Kars is a master storyteller, and she proved it again here. She crafted unforgettable characters that wormed their way into the reader's heart. You could never go wrong reading one of her books! I eagerly await the next book in her series. If you haven’t read her first book be sure to check it out…
I really liked this story, but I to am a Nerd so I love any and all Nerdy stories. I enjoyed the Mean Girl trying to become un-mean aspect of the story. Maybe because I'm the type of person who believes there is good in all people and those who are mean and spiteful have a reason for feeling this way. In a way I can relate with "K" also, I'm afraid of love and falling in love. Because I don't believe it will last and I'm scared to find out if I can live through the pain of losing love. So I read love stories and read poetry and listen to love songs and watch Rom-coms because I don't wanna be in love for real...I just wanna be in love in a book or movie because that's the only way it will last and I can visit it over and over again with just a click of a remote or a turn of a page. I just want a happily ever after and I can find it in books, movies and music. I understand the author was in a hurry to get the story out to her readers and all but I couldn't give this a 5 star rating because of the missed words and I know I'm not the best of spellers and punctuation but even I noticed them errors. Still I loved the story and I can't wait for more in The Never Been books!!!!!!!!!!
Didn't realize that this was the second book in a series. It makes sense why I was slightly confused at times when it came to Sera's relationship and back story.
Katie and Dean were a good pair, but the maturity levels were different on so many levels. Katie tended to get on my nerves with her distrust in lasting love and relationships due to her parents failed marriage. Dean was mature and dealt with this better, especially after what Katie did to him in high school.
The nerdy references were a nice change to me. Those aren't things I find too often. Dean, his ability to cook, his dogs and his man bun were favourites, especially his Dalmatian named Pongo. I got that reference from the beginning.
What happened between Katie and Dean in high school was unclear to me. All I know is that she somehow embarrassed him in school while they were dating. That part of the plot never felt clearly explained although he did forgive her.
Katie's little drunken outburst at her mother's wedding dinner was a little much as was her fight with Sera where she told her off and just said some cruel things to her best friend. Sera did forgive her, but things with her mother were never really mentioned again.
I really enjoyed this book it was a great addition in the Never Been series. I loved Katie and Dean, Katie could be quite a bitch and is described that through out the book but I found that she was the most sympathetic character in the book and I actually really disliked both Dean and Sera at times in the book because of their reactions and comments aimed at Katie. I thought Dean was really sweet and yes a nerd but he complemented Katie's more aggressive character. I enjoyed seeing Sera, Hunter and Mattie again and there was a great balance between those characters and having the main story between Katie and Dean. I did find that the story became confusing at times jumping between conversation and thoughts in parts of the story that Katie and Hunter were interacting, it was hard to know who was talking and who was having what thought and I had to re-read several parts so I could understand what was going on. Overall this was a great second book the the Never Been series and while it is a stand alone you should read Never Been Kissed because you get to know Katie and Sera and it will add to your enjoyment of this book.
I read Never Been Kissed and liked it so decided to read Never Been Nerdy. So glad I pressed the One-click. in my opinion it was more real and more believable than the first one in the series. Katie is screwed up in the inside and has built huge walls against everyone. she made many mistakes, including a big one, hurting her high school sweetheart Dean Carter. what I loved about the book is that Dean doesn't forgive her right away. in fact she has to work for his forgiveness and then for his friendship. dean sees more I her than even she does and won't take the next step forward until she confronts her demons. I cheered for this couple throughout and was rightly rewarded.
But I couldn't get pass how different - completely bitchy - Katie was. I fucking loved her in the previous book, needed to read her story. But as I delved into this (restarted repeatedly but determined) I couldn't get pass how fake she came off. And selfish. And as if she was the best thing on the earth. *rolls eyes* Bitch please.
this book isn't as great as the first but still amazing. the nerd flair isn't as defined with Dean and even though I loved Katie in the first book the whole 'she was a high school bully who ruined lives' killed it for me here. I can't relate to anyone that horrible and superficial...or so I thought.
the writing here is hilarious, and Katie's perspective is bitchtastic but not completely demeaning. we basically wait for the ice princess to melt and its awesome.
I read all of Kars' books due to kindle unlimited so thanks so much for having them available there!!!
Oh my god what a Bitch. I liked the first book with sera and hunter but this one oh my ! "oooh my life sucks my parents divooooorced, he doesn't want to kiss meeeee ooooh i hate everyoooone, no one gets meeeee..." GROW UP WOMAN.
She is a bitch to everyone whether it's now or in the past. She says crappy things to people around her and she thinks like a 5 years old ! It's insane. The hero was great (Dean) but he was wasted on a bitchy character like Katie.
Don't read this book it will be a huge deception compared to the first one ! bleh !
I absolutely loved the first book it was funny and had such a good story and characters. But Katie inner voice drive me crazy thru the story, she struggles to avoiding relationships she is a little emotional about it. Dean keep pushing her out, his choices aren't always good but he try to fix them. there was a fine line between love and hate in the story. I'm really looking forward to read the next book.
I think that katie is an amazing character i bet that a lot of people misunderstood her and the way she thought of sera but she loves her and she wants the best for her best friend or what she thinks is the best for her best friend since she wants her to be like her, she has her insecurities and her own demons fighting with her parents and trying to find love in someone who she "destroyed " a lot of years ago. She is trying and thats enough to love her as a character.
