TAMSYN: A Planet of Last Resort Novella
The story of one small town on a remote colony planet and the rising zombie apocalypse…
Busy running her ranch outside Rosewater, Tamsyn Wendover doesn’t pay much attention to the goings-on in town. But when one of her ranch hands is bitten while trying to help a child, she’s drawn into the mysterious flu outbreak spreading over the planet. As the deadly flu worsens, striking the town and the ranch, the chaos intensifies and Tamsyn is drawn into the desperate fight for survival.
Author’s This 20K novella is a prequel to the events in book one, mostly occurring prior to the arrival of the main characters on the planet in ARRIVAL. There’s no romance in this novella although Tamsyn does meet the man she’ll fall in love with later as the story goes on in upcoming books. Tamsyn will be a continuing character in the adventures on the Planet of Last Resort.

Novella worth purchasing
Quick read.
Zombie tale with the normal sadness, loss, human stupidity, and courage.
I am a huge fan of Veronica Scott.
I enjoy the fact that many of her books play out in shared universe timelines.
This series is not a typical syfi romance or a typical Zombie adventure. It is a snapshot of the horror of this apocalypse from one individuals perspective.
Highly recommend reading the Badari series..... Sectors New Allies

Shows is a prequel to this series so I read it first but it's meant to be read second. Short and there is no romance in it but I think Tamsyn may be in future books of this series. So this story follows rancher Tamsyn as people close to her get the "flu". But something isn't right when the infected become zombie like creatures and Tamsyn must do what she can to survive.
Only 3 stars because it's short and feel cheated that Tamsyn does not get her HEA at this time.
