What happens when ice meets fire—and neither one can walk away?
Abigail Stone has made her fortune turning unknowns into superstars, but success has left her isolated and emotionally armored. She's spent years perfecting the art of control—until she hears Taylor Davey sing in a dive bar and discovers the one thing money can't a raw, devastating voice that could change everything.
Taylor Davey is pure fire on stage, singing with a rage and hunger that captivates anyone who listens. But off stage, she's trapped—stuck in a dead-end town, controlled by a brother who keeps her brilliance locked away, afraid to let her shine.
When Abigail's icy control collides with Taylor's wild passion, the chemistry is explosive and immediate. But falling for each other means risking more than their Abigail could transform Taylor's destiny, while Taylor threatens to shatter the carefully constructed walls around Abigail's life and turn her world into beautiful chaos.
A sapphic romance featuring power imbalance, forbidden attraction, and chemistry that ignites into wildfire.
I honestly didn’t expect this book to pull me in the way it did, but once I started, I couldn’t stop.
Abigail Stone is the definition of an ice queen—cold, controlled, and completely untouchable. She doesn’t do emotions, she doesn’t do attachments, and she definitely doesn’t lose control… until Taylor. And Taylor? She’s the exact opposite. Bold, fiery, confident, and completely unafraid to push Abigail’s limits. The contrast between them is EVERYTHING.
Their chemistry is absolutely insane. From their very first interaction, there’s this raw, magnetic pull that feels almost explosive. It’s not just physical—it’s layered with power dynamics, tension, and this constant push-and-pull that kept me hooked. The age gap + ice queen x chaos energy trope was executed so well here.
What really surprised me though was the emotional depth. Taylor’s character, especially with her music, adds so much soul to the story. The way her voice is described? Literal chills. And seeing someone like Abigail—who’s seen everything—be shaken by that talent made those moments hit even harder.
Now, I will say Abigail can be frustrating at times because her emotional walls are STRONG. But at the same time, that’s what makes every tiny crack in her control feel so satisfying.
The writing is bold, sensual, and very immersive—definitely not a “soft” romance. It’s intense, a little messy, and full of heat and tension that doesn’t let up.
I’m still thinking about it—and honestly? I’d read it again just for their tension alone.
100% recomendado
No esperaba nada.

Lovely lovely book. Exceeded my expectations. This book deserves a sequel, I'd like to know how they navigate Taylor's new found fame and it's complexities, but most of all I want more time with the characters.
