Welcome to The Swingwood Estates
Well there was definitely a lot going on in the Swingwood Estates and I’m looking forward to continuing this series as books are released. Sage definitely ignored some red flags when she stayed in this rental. I wanted her to leave expeditiously, but in true thriller fashion the weather is holding her hostage. It’s obvious early on that there is something sinister lurking, but it is deep into the chapters when we truly discover what is going on. & let’s just say revenge is a dish best served cold! Overall an enjoyable read & perfect during this Christmas thrill-ish holiday season

Overall, it was a good read and delivered a plot twist as expected. However, the ending felt rushed and I have too many questions that went unanswered. Hopefully that means there will be an addition to this series.

Bre Coleman did it once again! This was a short read that kept me engaged from the beginning. Being able to step back into Swingwood after reading The Sixth Couple was great. Throughout the story I had a hard time putting it down because I needed to find out what happened next. The perfect quick holiday read to keep you on your toes and engaged from page one.

Mysteriously good
The Holiday Guest by Bre Coleman is mysteriously good. The suspense mixed with subtle horror elements kept me hooked the whole way through. It actually reminded me of the movie The Woman in the Yard. I really enjoyed it.
This was my first read by Bre Coleman, and I’ll definitely be diving into the rest of her catalog.

Baybee… what a way to kick off my 30 Days of Novellas in December challenge! The Holiday Guest slid into my spirit like a cold wind at midnight, sharp, startling, and deliciously unhinged in all the right ways.

What a slow burn yet quick read with a main character with such introspective thoughts! This novella is one that captured me from the beginning and had wheels turning in my brain. What a pleasant return to the Swingwood universe. Please, if you do anything this holiday season, pick this book up and treat yourself to a wonderful adaptation that Bre Coleman has put out. It is exactly the kind story I like to read during the holidays and has BIG SCREEN potential!

Overall, I enjoyed this book and found it to be an entertaining read. The characters kept me interested, and the story held my attention for most of the book.
That said, I finished with quite a few questions. The ending felt a bit rushed and left several plot points either unexplained or too open-ended. I also found myself confused by some of the events and character motivations toward the end, and I wasn't always sure how everything was supposed to fit together.
Even with those frustrations, I still thought it was a good read and enjoyed the journey. I just wish the ending had provided a little more clarity and closure. If you don't mind a story that leaves you with questions, it's worth checking out.

This book is a perfect example of what happens when a Christmas stay at a cozy cabin goes wrong. MC Sage needs to get away from her family, her life, from everything. And what better place to go than a cozy cabin in Vermont at Christmas time. Unfortunately, as soon as Sage walks through the door of the cabin everything seems odd. She experiences creaking floorboards, other strange noises, and blasts of icy breezes where there shouldn't be. Then there's the nightmare that she can't remember but stays with her long after she wakes. Something is watching and waiting. And that something is in the house with her. Brrrr- in the coldest and creepy way.

Okay yeah… this one did exactly what I wanted it to do. 😂 I thought I had everything figured out, and then the story said, “nope.” Every time I got comfortable, another twist popped up.
I also liked that it wasn’t just twist after twist for no reason. The story actually kept me invested, and I wanted to know how everything was going to come together. I flew through this one way faster than I expected. If you like family drama, secrets, and a thriller that keeps you guessing, I’d definitely recommend this one.

Sage needs a break after a devastating loss & goes to a cabin in Swingwood Estates but this cabin holds its own secrets. Swingwood Estates community has its own secrets too! Just know everyone there serves a purpose & has an assignment to fulfill.

Very Surprised
I was not expecting the plot twist in this amazing Short novel. I thought it was about to turn into a romance and it end up being more so of a acceptance, a realization and revenge much needed. And in the end, the FMC found peace and knowing that her stay at that particular cabin was needed, and now she can move on with her life.

Grief does things to you
I loved this. Bre is an author I will buy a book whenever it drops. She knows how to write mysteries and thrillers that will keep you reading and this time I loved how it ended. Sometimes you need to heal..differently.

Swingwood never forgets.
This is a quick thriller. Death, grief and hurt can make people do strange things. Sage went to the small town grieving the death of her husband; but, got so much more. I enjoyed this book and highly recommend it to others looking for a quick Thriller.

I had ordered this book on the TikTok shop because I was looking for a new author. I will say this was a small book but boy. I read the book the same day I received it. Great read.

This was such a cute story. I finished it in a day. The plot was awesome. 4 outta five for me only because I’m trying to figure out what happened to Greg’s body.
