Political terrorist thriller with a LOT of quirky humor.
Be prepared for some great entertainment, funny and serious, do not expect everything to always make sense, this is fiction, this is entertainment. But there is a lot of spot on references as well. There are plenty of names and moments inserted here and there, and it was fun to catch them.
This third book is fast paced as Severn responds to yet another probable disaster in the making. Lots of misdirection and confusion, plenty of twists and turns. The bad guys seem to want something in particular then swerve and want something else. Severn is trying to figure out the end goal, and as he is dealing with various bad guys he discovers traps upon traps upon traps.
Trenton, who is the mysterious evil mastermind who never seems to appear, reminds me a bit of the Moriarty character in the Sherlock Holmes books.
It is best to read this series from book one, but a lot of what happened in books one and two is referenced here so you do not get too lost if you did not read those. It seems there is another book in the works as this is a, to be continued ending.

I received ARC through "NetGalley" and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
The story begins with the kidnapping of the U.S. Vice President. It is discovered when the Secret Service was not able to reach the VP's detail and when they arrived at the home. there was no one there. After POTUS was notified, she contacted Force to find the VP. On arriving, Force began his search and contacted a few of his friends to get assistance. Force is used to working alone, but eventually wound up using other people. With the information that Force had available, he managed to locate sites where the VP had benn.
To discover the reason for the VP kidnapping, who was involved, who wound up assisting Force and how it all worked out in the end you need to read the book.
The ending will provide all answers and the book is well worth the read! Don't miss out!

This story has so many plot twists it will have your head spinning. The characters are wonderful, and the author has threaded humor throughout his writing and dialog. as well as lots of action. And wait till you meet the twins; they are my favorites, though Severn Force is undeniably the main character.

Enjoyable lark with many twist and turns. Nice play on words with surnames. The ending spins a web of confusion.
