When Love's Like This
Dante Reigns decided love was no longer in the cards for him after being crossed by the only two people he ever really trusted. That plan managed to work until it didn’t. After his brother cashed in on a favor, Dante found it a lot harder to keep the promises he made to himself.
Erin wasn’t the type to believe in love at first sight until she encountered a man that instantly took her breath away. She was intrigued by everything about him, even though his demanding and not so polite demeanor wasn’t necessarily her cup of tea. Unfortunately, she wasn’t quite sure that she could step out of her comfort zone to take a chance on something new.
Sometimes you have to walk on faith in order to get what your heart desires, but in doing so, you have to be willing to risk it all which means potentially means losing at love.

Okay, okay I can get on board with this new author
So I came across this book in a reading group. I was hesitant at first because lately books haven’t been able to hold my attention but this one did. Although the story was kind of short it was enjoyable and held my interest. There were a few errors but nothing that took away from the story. I really liked the main
character Dante straight alpha male but at times he was a little soft that took away from that but other than that he was my fav.
I feel like the story could have been a little longer to give more details like what was Tesla’s reaction to knowing her fate, what happened to Arielle, why is Keyz back with Lea when he couldn’t stand her, how is Erins mom all of a sudden mother of the year when her entire life she was trash and will Keyz and Rome get it together. I also hope to see an older version of little Onyx cause at only 6 shorty got the lil girls blushing. Hopefully this author will continue with these characters and we get some of these questions answered.
Another thing I appreciated about this author was that this was a standalone although I wanted more of the story I am really happy she gave at least an ending and didn’t make it a series. While I enjoy series books too I love when I can start a book and don’t have to wait weeks, months or even sometimes years to find out what happens next. I’m definitely on board to read more from this new and upcoming author.

SPOILERS! Good Story! Few Mistakes!
Chile I can’t lie Dante got on my nerves a little bit brah had me feeling just like Erin cause its always something sneaky with him instead of being upfront. I loved how they loved each other when it was time to be in love. He wanted to be up under her and didn’t care what nobody else thought about it. I’m glad Rome got himself together cause I ain’t understand the animosity when he caused it himself. Keyz was crazy asf for getting back with that baby momma of course she gonna do right by her child since she got the man and the money back and that’s all she wanted anyway smh. I’m lost on how her momma come back in and act as if she wasn’t a horrible momma at one point. Like baby ease your way back in and tread lightly cause if my man ain’t run up on you then how would you be acting frfr. Why the best friend bringing the dude into the section for her to talk to wasn’t talked about cause friend you know I had a man and you know he crazy. Overall good story

Good storyline
3.5 stars*I'm new to T'Lyn so I've only read her last 3 reads and u absolutely love them. I just decided to just start from the beginning, I also knew I had to be gentle because it is some of her earlier works and just like anything in life it can take time to find our footing. The storyline was good, there were a lot of ???? parts for me. His first introduction was weird even if he was a jerk...like who does that. The situation with her mom just went from estranged and toxic to him pulling up and her saying she'll go to war for her daughter like the same one you ignore for months...like how did we get here. What happened the day he messaged someone to pick up T in the mall? Why did he keep making stupid decisions and what happened to Arielle?

It was a good read
I enjoyed this book. Erin was just living in her shell due to her lack of motherly love and losing her dad/grandma. Dante was just a boss and didn’t take any mess. He was making silly mistakes to make sure that Erin was happy at all times. But I also feel like that full story of Arielle and Jaime wasn’t explained in much detail. Still enjoyed it and a holiday update on them would be awesome lol

Started out Good
I liked the beginning and I loved Erin's vibe , however, War was hard to like . I finally fell for him and then BAM...War disappeared and I was very disappointed. Good book just not clear on why the dramatic change in War...overall I recommend this book. My personal dislikes don't change that the book is still a good read.

Loved it‼️
This was really good. I loved Dante and him and Erin were the cutest together. I’m so glad Rome and War were able squash their beef, I hate seeing sibling at each other’s throat. Overall a really good read. I’m just getting ino this authors work and after 4 books I’m very impressed. Great job Queen 👏🏾

Strong Family Ties
I’m glad Dante and his brother were able to mend their differences. Erin is just what Dante needed. Glad she was able to come out of her shell and stand up for herself. Tessa and Arielle were some desperate females. When a man tells you and shows you that he doesn’t want you, you should believe him. Good book as always.

looking for a good quick read? this the one
I enjoy a novella that keeps you on your toes the whole way through. Keyz was the man. He was so rude to my girl at first but of course it was because he liked her. I liked how Erin held her own bc you can tell she was a sweetheart but after getting with Keyz she toughened up and wasn’t playing about her man.

I loved the way Erin came out her shell and she bossed up in a big way!!!…She let it be known there her meekness does not equal weakness!!!…
Dante was all over the place and was irking my nerves!!!…I was glad his momma got on him about putting that space in his household!!!…

Let me start by saying that Dante is Bae!!!! I love Keyz and by the end I started like Rome. I love the chemistry of all the characters. I thought they all mixed well. The story pulled you and and kept you there.

Dante or Grim!
I loved both sides of him! I also really liked Erin's characters. She was definitely not a push over. I would love to read more of this family, specifically Dante's brothers. Oh, I still don't trust Erin's mother. Great read!

Erin and War!!
War was a domineering grey eyed cutie and thought he could run everyone, but when he met the sweet teacher Erin, she quickly got him together. I loved their relationship and how she didn't allow him to run over her. Great job

This is my first read by this author but it won’t be my last.
I liked Erin with her feisty self. She gave Dante a run for his money, but it was worth it. He couldn’t have picked a better woman to balance himself out.

Strong Love
This was a very good standalone. I enjoy the love Dante and Erin had. Now they need for Rome to wear down Tel. Keyz and Lea need to get it together for their children, she need to come down a notch.
