This is another terrific book by Dr. Chalmer. It is a workbook with a QR code inside the book you can print out pages to actually write on and share with your spouse. The author speaks about growing pains and deal breakers and the last half of the book he gives various scenarios and gives the reader a chance to think about the situation and what they would do and why. This book is about growth; understanding yourself and why you feel as you do. And asking your spouse what they are feeling and why. Communication leads to understanding and this can lead to growth as a person and a couple.
Well written, from a Psychologist with lots of experience in couple's therapy. The key to intimacy is tolerating some anxiety in your relationship and for stability, to keep anxiety low. If you are wanting to work on your relationship this book will be a valuable resource and guide to finding the passion again.
