The countdown ticks through outdated red numbers. Trapped inside Lunar Colony VI's decommissioned skywalk, Nala Kleff is confronted by her activist past in the digitized gray face on the station monitor and the hardwired incendiary device at her feet.
I read this while I was waiting for my husband to get his hair cut, and it was just the right length. Quick and exciting, I didn't even realize I was holding my breath at one point. Whew!
I didn't realize how short this story was until I'd read a couple pages and decided to read it in one go. I didn't really know what to expect, but this was quick and interesting and before I knew it my heart was racing and I realized how involved I was in this short story! I'm exciting for this to be a series. I love small, kind of non-committal books like this.
ETA: I really enjoyed this series. I was so nervous by the last two books to find out what happens!
