This short novella was exactly what I needed to activate my holiday-reading mood 👏🏾 Being snowed in had never been on my radar, but after reading this, I would love nothing more than being snowed in with an unexpected someone 🙃. thank you for the advance copy & for reigniting my spark 🫶🏾💕 - @_krysreads
The Blizzard Pact by Coya Wilson is such a cute and cozy holiday read, and I truly loved it. The chemistry between Merilyse and Avonte is undeniable, soft, warm, and wrapped in that perfect slow-burn Christmas glow. It gives just the right amount of spice to heat up a snowstorm and keeps things fun, flirty, and festive. And that little twist? I ate it up. - @theTBRtrap
If you’re looking for that hallmark/lifetime movie feel novella, this one is just what you need. Merilyse and Avonte give all the cheesy love, with a dose of meddling family, that the holiday brings. Always appreciate the ARC goodness. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of the team. - @bea_random_romance
Coya Wilson never disappoints! The true novella GOAT! The Blizzard Pact is nothing short of amazing. Cutesy, feel-good Christmas story about finding love where you least expect in a freaking blizzard! Meri and Avonte bring the heat to a cold winter night, and I enjoyed every minute of it. Must read! - @authorkmorris
So far, this one is my favorite. This is now my third book from you I've read. This one is my number one. Like, this one is my number one. I just want you to know that. I'm in love with it. This is my favorite! - @mzdivadeejewels
ARC Review Coya absolutely killed it with this adorable Christmas novella! The blizzard turned into an unexpected romance between two friends, and I was here for it! The story had me laughing, blushing, and swooning 💥. It's the perfect cozy read that'll leave your soul feeling warm and fuzzy ❄️. If you haven't checked out Coya Wilson's books yet, what are you waiting for? She's the queen of short, sweet, and spicy reads! Thank you, Coya, for letting me be part of your team and for the ARC.
Cute read. The fun, flirty, banter via message between Moorman93 and StandingMerry 22 was adorable. The universe was looking out for these two, cause ain't no way that would have happened organically. Or would it?
Yes, give me a good snow in love story anytime of the day anytime of the year. I truly think that they were meant to be. Who would’ve ever thought that chatting online for whole year would lead them to finding out that they’re person was closer than . loved it loved it great read
I think I would have liked this more if they had done some type of activity outside the house either before or after the blizzard. And I didn’t mind that we found out the outcome how we did I just would have preferred to see it than to hear about it. It was enjoyable enough but it’s definitely one of those holiday reads that just takes place near the date.
This was such a cute, spicy read. What started as computer love, ended up as love in real life. Avonte and Merrilyn were instant lovers story that I can get into.
This was the cutest book. Merilyse and Avonte were perfect for each other. The chemistry was unmatched between them. Merilyse frustrated me some because she was a chronic overthinker that almost made her miss out on a good man. Avonte was amazing and had an abundance of patience because most people would've given up on Merilyse, but he didn't.The spice in this book was top tier. These two couldn't get enough of each other. This was the perfect Christmas story with a HEA that I didn't think was gonna happen because of Merilyse.
Coya Wilson understood the assignment—short, sweet, snowy, and satisfying. The Blizzard Pact is a cozy holiday romance that wraps you up like a warm blanket during a winter storm. I genuinely enjoyed the characters and found myself wanting more from them (always a good sign).
This was my first time reading this author, but it definitely won’t be my last. What stood out most? Even in novella form, the story felt complete—I didn’t walk away craving closure or feeling like anything was missing. That’s intentional writing, clean pacing, and thoughtful character work.
And you already know—The Blizzard Pact gets Yolanda’s Stamp of Approval. If you’re looking for a quick, feel-good holiday escape to melt your heart faster than hot cocoa cools, add this to your Kindle ASAP.
The Blizzard Pact was such a sweet, cozy holiday novella with just the right dash of spice. It’s the kind of story that wraps you up like a warm blanket and leaves you smiling the whole way through.
Moorman93 and StandingMerry22 have been chatting online for the past year, and watching them realize that love is actually much closer than they think was incredibly satisfying and heartwarming. Their connection felt genuine, soft, and swoon-worthy.
This was an enjoyable, feel-good read that had me cheesing, swooning, and fully in my holiday romance feelings. I absolutely loved it and would highly recommend it if you’re looking for something cozy, romantic, and festive.
Thank you to Coya Wilson for the ARC. This is my honest review!
Who say the dating apps cannot lead to a happily ever after? Expecting to be catfish, Merilyse didn’t have high hopes for finding capability on a dating app. While enjoying a man she considered a pen pal on the dating app, Merilyse enjoys an unforgettable experience with a handsome next door neighbor.
Avonte has been wanting to meet the woman behind the screen from the dating app. A kind gesture from his next door neighbor leads to a hot steamy blizzard affair. He must decide to follow his plans to meet his match from the app or pursue more with the beauty from next door.
The stars aligned serendipitous to bring Avonte & Merilyse together in more ways than one.
This was such a cute, cozy lil Christmas-time novella! Merilyse and Avonte’s story had me kicking my feet the whole time. And when Avonte said, “We’ll probably get weird stares when we tell our story to people in the future, on some How I Met Your Mother type of thing,” he was NOT lying because the instant connection?? Whew.
Their conversation flowed so naturally, like they’d known each other forever. Or have they… 👀 And the way Merilyse just went to drop off food to her sister’s neighbor and ended up getting snowed in… plowed lolol 😜 Yeah, this one was good to me. The perfect little Christmas romance to cozy up with.
Hmmm, really🧐⁉️ …Whats love got to do with this slade & laid bells in the snow situation 🤷🏾♀️🥴🤭⁉️ Well, if she (& their families) are happy then I’m ecstatic for everybody. “The Blizzard Pact” (3.75 ⭐️ was entertaining, festive & plausible until it wasn’t 🤔🤭...The primary characters weren’t fully developed. Their hooked up was coincidental, unconventional, met/greet & maintained cyber friendship “ish”. Peculiar, but who am I to judge 🤷🏾♀️‼️Nevertheless, I’m still conflicted with Merilyse & Avonte’s cyber pen pal acquaintanceship-ish non relationship with benefits forced HEA. I guess, hohoho is applicable to the stranger couple🫣👀‼️
Merrilyse and Avonte are both subscribed to a popular online dating app and think they've found love there, we'll at least friendship. Both have been reluctant to meet their matches in person because HELLO...Catfish!!!! The stars align, and they both get their Happily Ever After. There's a little spice in there for a little razzle dazzle. This was a cute story with just the right amount of spice. Kudos to the author. This was my first time reading any of her work, I'll be checking out some of her other work soon.
I enjoyed this cute story between Merilyse and Avonte.
This duo are both visiting family who happen to live next door to each other. An unexpected storm forces Merilyse to spend some uninterrupted time with Avonte, who is house sitting for his parents.
The story was good even though Merilyse got on my nerves a bit.
My negative is the lack of a synopsis. I don’t need to know what other people think of the book. I can read reviews on my own. I would have preferred to know what the book was actually about. Stuff like this impacts my buying decisions.
Meriyse and Avonte were too cute! All of the feels! Merilyse wanted things to happen naturally for her, she just couldn’t fathom meeting someone offline and it being real. With that thinking, she only wanted a virtual companionship with her penpal. However, the universe has other plans to give Meri exactly what she needs! This novella had swoon worthy moments with hidden gems for self reflection, and just the right amount of spice.
This story was very cute and straight forward which I love it!!! I really love the story about how Merilyse and Avonte meet through online without knowing they were talking to each other the whole time. When they meet each other they instantly connected without even knowing it. I am glad they have their happy ending and this Christmas was very cute and I enjoyed every bit of it. 😊
The Blizzard Pact by Coya Wilson is a cute lil’ cozy read with a dash of spice. It’s giving Black Hallmark with hunchin’. 🎄 This is an easy, feel good read. The couple is completely unproblematic. Other than being a little dense about their unknown connection. What would you do if you were snowed in with your fine neighbor and he had Sir Davis on deck? Let him wear your anklets like earrings?? Yup, me too!
I really enjoyed this read! It was super cute and cozy! The attraction and chemistry between the main characters were really good! I kinda picked up on the plot twist earlier and I loved how the author allows things to flow! Definitely would recommend if you are looking for a cute holiday read!
Nothing like being stuck in a blizzard with a cutie. This storyline was so great. I loved how it all developed and played out. Loved Avonte and Merrilyse. Loved their chemistry too. This was a great read. Gave me all the feels.
So cute! Meeting your dating app boo for the (supposed to be) first time, only to realize you’ve met before. I love how Avonte found out who Merilyse was the night before their planned meet-up, but still went through with their plans. So romantic *heart eyes*

Amazing book. Lyse & Avonte’s love was so pure. Being able to match with someone on an app and actually keep up conversation without ever meeting is something else. Happy to see Merilyse’s mother and Nivea’s dreams came true. Lyse found her HEA and didn’t have to settle for less.
