After all these shorts I STILL cannot stand Jacob’s mother…she not only is a bitch but she is a selfish one that is highly lacking in maternal skills. If Cole does end up trying to destroy Jacob…I blame Alicia solely because had she not been selfish when Cole was born this wouldn’t be happening to Jacob now.
Not to mention what this will do to Jacob and Leila’s marriage…I wouldn’t be surprised to see Jacob completely cut his mother out of his life after this.

I don’t even know where to begin with Cole…I honestly want him to be good, but with the way things are going I don’t see how he could be.
And that ending!!!!! What...how...I need to know what happens next!
That cliffhanger though...

Cole does stuff that make him look like a bad guy but I so want him to be a good guy. GAH...I would hate to be Cole when Jacob gets back...just sayin'. Oh and mommy dearest I still don't like, she needs an attitude rearrangement and a personality transplant.

So far the best of this serial series...so much suspense in this one, it leaves you needing to know what happens next. I can't wait for the last one!

My heart was breaking for Jacob, the fallout of what they found out in the last book really hurt him and it caused some trouble between him and Lay. I was worried about them especially when she was actually worried to go home because she was not sure how he was going to act, but she was in for a nice and oh so hot surprise. I enjoyed reading about how happy Megan and Cade were. The dinner was really nice but then it took quite the turn. Leila said to Jacob what needed to be said and showed him how she will always be there to support him, they were then back to the Jacob and Lay we love and we got to enjoy a hot and steamy sex scene. The next time Leila sees Cole was a surprise, I thought what is he up to?, at first he seems fine, caring, then he turns and seems to get angry, this guy is all over the place. I have to say Leila needs to fire Natasha, I cannot stand how badly she still treats her. Then the day of the art show comes and Ava does something I did not see coming, can't read the next book fast enough, when does it come out?

Grrrrrrr, I hate it when I'm right looks as if sweet trusting Leila has hitting her self in to quite the pickle. I must saw in this installment it was wonderful to finally see a crack in Alicia Whitmore's armor when Lay finally confronted her about her rude/nasty/hateful behavior. But I was quite shocked at Jacob for scolding his new wife in front of company(nice cameo by Cade & Megan) I understand he's hurting but to lash out at the only person in your corner 100%,not cool. But it all worked out for the best because the making up is always off the chart intense. It's wonderful to know that thoughout all these books the chemistry and full blown lust is still there. I love Jacob & Lay I just hope they can weather this new storm that is now in their path threating to destroy them. I can't wait to see what happens next, oh the suspense!!!! Hats off to Ava as always masterful work!!!

The bomb has been detonated! Alicia has done it again! She's destroyed Jacob with her latest tale of Cole murdering his parents. Jacob's behavior after hearing this news is crazy. Leila is just trying to play the supportive wife. Everything seemed to be settling down and then...BAM!!!

I loved it when she actually stood up to him at dinner. Jacob was a little out of control but Leila seemed to know how to diffuse him once she got home. When he gets angry, it's directed at whoever is in front of him. He regrets it later but at the moment it's pretty intense. The end of chapter 18 was a CRAZY cliff hanger! Things are starting to get dangerous. I can't wait for part 4.

This is book 3 of this series and you must start with book 1.

Wow talk about a rollercoaster! Jacob is calming down and realizing that Lay is truly there for him-no matter the situation. Cole seems hard to read at this point. What are his true intentions? It seems he has ulterior motives and that's unsettling! All this because of Alicia! Cole is a smart guy and understands he needs to get to Jacob by way of Leila because she is his everything. Unfortunately for Lay, it means danger. Jacob is called out of town and then Cole takes his chance! Next the cliff! Geez! We have to find out what is going on and why! I need the next one quick!

So the mother from hell, Alicia, has dropped an absolute bomb about Cole and what happened in the past. I can't help but hate this woman with a passion. She always takes every opportunity to stick the boot into Leila and Jacob's relationship.

But I felt in this book, we saw a slight thaw with her. She showed a vulnerable side. yes I still hate her with a passion but I can see now why she is the way she is.

I like how Ms Claire doesn't just concentrate on one thing in a book, she also remembers that Leila and jacob still have jobs and she incorporates their work into the story.

I would like to see a resolution with Natasha as she is the office bitch!! Maybe she will get fired or punched by Leila lol. Here's hoping eh!

As expected, this book ends on a cliffy!!

Jacob and Leila's journey continues as their married life together brings hot hot sex and mystery popping in on them once again. Jacob's mother is the route of it all but as Leila tries to bridge the gap another tries to threaten what they have come to be. Will Jacob be able to get to his beloved?
Will this mystery be the ultimate sacrifice?

To the author: Wow just when you think everything is coming up roses for these two beloved characters another twist arises. Major Kudos

Oh Jacob, we have a reappearance of his closed off persona and he tries to push Leila away with all his surliness but Leila is the light in his life, the new constant that can lift him from the darkness which leads to an intensely sensual and erotic make-up session for the two of them. Cole is still a wild card, is what Alicia said true, is he trying to destroy them? Just when I thought it was safe, Ava Claire leaves me on the cliff with amazing anticipation for part 4. Loving that we are experiencing the trials and tribulations as Leila and Jacob navigate married life.

Well again this book is good but very short. It again ends on a cliffhanger. We see that Jacob is not happy about all the new information that he has found out about Cole. Leila isn't sure what to do with all the new information she has found out about her mother-in-law. Both are wary of what Cole is capable of doing next. Again just when the story is really heating up we hit a cliffhanger. I can not wait for the final installment of this series but my recommendation wait till they are all out to buy them. Otherwise it is very frustrating.

The story about Jacob's secret brother continues. His Mother is being an absolute witch to everyone as we've come to expect from her.

What is going on with Cole? What are his true intentions? I have a feeling that all is not what it seems.

I absolutely love the covers on these books. It's very interesting to see how using the same picture and just changing the covers, make each book different. they would look great in paperback on my shelf! I also think the colours used for each book, reflects the mood of the book.

I can't get enough of Jacob and Leila. What great characters.

Lies, deceit, love and a loving husband.

We learn more about Jacob's mom and what happened. We see the good and bad side of Cole....and left with a cliffhanger.

After much arguing, Jacob and Leila patch up the issue of Cole. Jacob leaves and Leila is putting on an art show...and hell breaks loose.

We do get to see the Mia and Megan are both happy with their men, and that Jacob can open up and feel and accept love.

Can't wait to start book 4.

I was giving this book as a ARC for an honest review. Part Three is off the chain. i'm loving loving this new series. The storyline is interesting and i cant wait to see what happens next. His brother just crossed the line. I was giving his brother the benefit of the doubt but now I don't know. The sex scenes are always hot and sexy. Jacob and that whip is all I can say. I need more. Poor Jacob first he grows up wanting for nothing except the love of his parents and maybe a sibling. To finding out his mother hid a sibling from him to just rip him away from him again. At least he has the love of Leila now. It ends with a great cliffhanger, it's a short and easy read. I enjoy this series very much. Can't wait for part 4.

GAHHH! again Ava does this to us!!! this installment we had a lot of suspense and curious thoughts. Dinner with Alicia was interesting. Same with Cade and Megan. I was a tiny bit disappoint with Jacob this go around, but the guy does have a lot on his plate. And I REALLY want to give Cole the benefit of the doubt and I like him... but that ENDING!!!! OMG!!! need part 4... NOW!!! amazing series!

Cole said he was going to bring down the Whitmore Family, and now he has the one sure thing that will bring Jacob to his knees. I can't wait to see what wrath Jacob brings to Cole or his mother. Hopefully it is powerful and swift to show his love to Leila!!

What can I say? My feelings towards Ava have grown. With each volume she grows and I grow with her. She makes me one with Jacob and Leila that much more... I won't reveille spoilers but I will say you're glued to each and every page. Your mind races, you hurt and cry, feel love and unbelievable fear and wonder. But don't take this from me.
