“I want you so much, I can’t hold myself back anymore.”
Reincarnated in the world of Cinderella?!
After Alexandra and I successfully married off Cinderella—our couch-potato stepsister who was practically a NEET—to the prince, we were ready to enjoy our new life. But after being dragged into the Conference of the Wise and causing a scene there, I somehow ended up at Eric’s mansion! Instead of living peacefully in another land, I found myself in Eric’s arms… with him hitting on me?!
I get that he loves her, but his inability to understand the word “no” dropped this a star. Not being able to understand when he needs to back down is NOT sexy or romantic.
3, I had higher hopes, stars.

In Volume One, he is so supportive of Petra. He respects her intelligence and gumption so much that he invites her to the conference of the wise and promises not to offer her overt support during the meeting.
Then he decides that he loves her and wants to marry her. From that point forward, she is a creature incapable of raising a rational objection. He repeatedly attempts to overwhelm her doubts and concerns with physical pleasure, rather than reasoned arguments. He tells her to think about HE feels, but he doesn’t give a second of thought for HER feelings.
Prince Didier is similar in his disregard for Cinderella. He wants to keep her from her family, whom he’s made zero effort to get to know, based on spurious rumors.
I like Toby, though. So at least one sister knows how to pick a man.
So I thought consent was a good thing. Not in this series. Mix it with coercion and manipulation and we have the plot. The only positive is that the other step sister made a brief appearance. I can’t even give any more positives because the story is not well written, even with all of the morally gray issues aside. If you have morals, skip. If not, enjoy!
In this volume we get to see Petra be a powerhouse dominating political discourse and a growing romance between her and Erick. I loved it, quick, enjoyable read.
