Chris Harvey
2 booksChris is a husband and proud father of three amazing children. He has spent his life living a short drive to the coast and hearing the deep call of the ocean. He is literally a son of a son of a sailor. His grandfather was in the merchant marines during WWII and his great-grandfather was 1st mate on merchant brigantines sailing from the coast of Maine to the Caribbean. The sea is in his veins. Unfortunately, no known pirate lineage. As a student of history and inspired by the lyrics and lifestyle of Jimmy Buffet, he has stories percolating inside him asking to be told. The first, Son of a Son of a Pirate, is a blend of history, fiction, and events lost to history.

One particular harbor was amazing
It got better as I read it. The energy throughout the book was perfect. The amount of research is impressive and even when I reviewed it , looked it up th concern the pieces it remained very good. Teach and gazelle made an interesting pair, I actually liked her better in this book than the first. Keep it up Chris Harvey, you really make me want to read more.

This book, the second in the "Pirate Legacy" series, is a big improvement over the first book, "Son of a Son of a Pirate," which itself was pretty damn good! I won't rehash the synopsis which is already on this page, but the book follows three intertwined time frames, which come together brilliantly in the action-packed finale! If you love Jimmy Buffett, pirates, and adventure, you'll LOVE this book!

Blackbeard & Buffett Bonanza in a Book!
This book has so many ways to capture one’s Imagination; Montezuma’s Golden Heart, Aztec Gods, Blackbeards Legendary Prowess among Pirates, and a Jimmy Buffett’s Tour Guide from Key West. Truly a great read on so many levels to enjoy!
