I was overly excited and overjoyed to win a paper copy of this read.

I have undergone both perimenopause and menopause, yet you do not find women who advocate, accept their bodies changing and renewing/rebirth, and/or anyone to talk to about it. Most women are in denial, non-acceptance, or take what their doctors tell them instead of admitting their hormones are on override and emotionally charged/connected to them, and a mature woman's rite of passage--end of producing life. I do not have children, and I will see how I can still bring life into this world once I meet my godly mate.

I am thankful she took the courage to write this for us women! Well-informed.

I may need to share with other women who are undergoing one or both of these. I highly recommend this for women who believe they are experiencing peri/menopause, those who have gone through it, and for healthcare providers to share with women, such as OBGYN, even Black Women communities/advocacies.

A useful book by a life coach, with many tips, affirmations, and explanations about menopause and perimenopause. Received as a free copy on Librarything. I got this for my wife, and I learned a lot. Wish we had read it sooner; this is something maybe women in their late '30s should read, to prepare. Helpful if you're going through it. Short, well-written and -edited, not as "woo-woo" as I was nervous it would be. Practical, but also spiritual.
