Aawwww... That's the end. 😢
I absolutely loved this serial, the main leads, the side characters, the way things were handled and all the topics that were covered with all the people's different opinions about them...
That final fight was amazing and seeing Caden finally coming into his own as a dragon shifter was incredible...
I really enjoyed that we got almost half the book covering all loose end and we get to know more about the changes being implemented around the world...
I liked how we're left with this hopeful feeling for the future; the insecurities, the discrimination and the fears are being addressed and though it's not an easy or quick solution the kings and queens are making changes and showing everyone that they will keep on working for a better future all together...
I'm sad to leave this world and not seeing how much more everyone can do... It was a really good read.
POV: multiple (mostly both MCs with one chapter from Raziel's POV)
Tropea: alternative present, shifters, dragons, animal spirits.
Spice: low (one detailed scene)
CW: violence, death

3.5 stars for the book itself
4.5 stars for the series all together.
I absolutely loved the characters in this series.
They were well written, i could physically see them all in my mind.
I did not listen to the audiobook, i read this on my kindle and still highly enjoyed it. Even found myself wishing i started the audio so I could hear everyone’s accents.
The plot was pretty good, I would have preferred more spicy scenes and slightly less politics. But I really enjoyed it as is.
I miss my dragon kings already 🥲
