Jack is the reigning F1 champion but he’s known for being a bit frosty. When his reputation is at risk, Kaya is assigned to keep him on track and ensure he doesn’t damage his reputation any further. As she gets to know him, Kaya realises there’s a wonderful man hiding behind the ‘Jack Frost’ persona, and for the first time in his life Jack feels seen for more than his career.

This is an easy read romance that I gobbled up in one sitting. The grumpy/sunshine trope is always a goodie, and it’s always interesting to see the ‘behind the scenes’ world of F1 drivers (even if they are fictional!). There’s also an adorable senior dog called Gadget and a good ol dose of justice to make this a satisfying read. If you are a fan of F1 then this is the romance for you!

This was my very first F1 romance and I can officially say I understand the hype. "Love in the Fast Lane" is a fun, high-speed read that I managed to fly through.

The chemistry between Jack and Kaya was the driving force of the novel. The grumpy/sunshine dynamic worked perfectly against the high-stakes backdrop of the racing circuit and the enemies to lovers tension was palpable from their very first interaction. I was particularly impressed by the pacing of the romance. The spice didn’t feel rushed or out of place, it built naturally alongside the plot, which made the payoff feel much more satisfying. It has that addictive mix of professional drama and personal steam that makes for a great sports romance.

My only minor critique is that toward the end of the book, the characters' emotional reactions occasionally felt a bit younger than their intended ages. Some of the conflict resolution felt slightly immature given their professional standing. However, the overall energy of the story and the strength of the lead pairing definitely made up for those moments.

If you are looking for an engaging entry point into the world of racing romance or just love a solid forced proximity story, I highly recommend picking this one up.

Tropes:
• Grumpy v Sunshine
• Enemies to Lovers
• Forced Proximity
• Formula 1 Sports Romance

Okay this was SUCH a fun F1 romance. I flew through it. The grumpy/sunshine and enemies-to-lovers vibes were honestly so good, and the chemistry between Jack and Kaya had me hooked the entire time.

I also really loved the pacing of the spice — it didn’t feel rushed at all and built up so well throughout the story, which made all the tension even better. It had that perfect mix of drama, romance and steamy moments that makes a sports romance so addictive.

My only little issue was that towards the end, the characters sometimes felt a bit younger than they were supposed to be, especially with some of the emotional moments and reactions. It wasn’t enough to ruin anything for me but I definitely noticed it a few times.

Overall though, this was such an entertaining read and definitely one I’d recommend if you love F1 romances, enemies-to-lovers tension and a good grumpy MMC.

I flew through this book — it was fast-paced, engaging, and impossible to put down. The plot kept me hooked from the start, and the mix of tension, emotion, and steam made this such a fun F1 romance.

Kaya joins Jack’s Formula 1 team as the new communications strategist while his reputation is hanging by a thread, but she also has her own hidden agenda for being there.

I loved the slow-burn romance between Jack and Kaya. Their chemistry was electric, and the grumpy/sunshine dynamic paired with their banter made them so enjoyable to read. Alongside the romance, the story also explored betrayal and emotional moments that added more depth to the plot.

It’s been a while since I’ve read an F1 romance, and this one reminded me why I enjoy the genre so much. If you’re looking for a fast-paced read filled with tension, yearning, emotion, and spice, definitely pick this one up.

Love in the Fast Lane l was my first F1 romance and I really enjoyed it. I love a good forced proximity trope and this one certainly delivered. It was fun, steamy and angst filled and before I knew it I’d binged the whole book in a day!

The grumpy/sunshine trope between Kaya and Jack and their chemistry on the page was fantastic. There was great banter and delicious slow burn tension that was well paced and felt natural. While there is spice, it’s not the main focus of the story which I appreciated.

I enjoyed the behind the scenes look at the F1 world too. The politics and personalities that accompany it, the team dynamics and the way the media works with image and reputation was an interesting aside to the main story.

If you are looking for an engaging and entertaining romance read I’d definitely recommend Love in the Fast Lane.
