Well Aisling you did it again and this time my heart was shattered....
I was hooked on this series from the get go and the waiting between book 3 and 4 had me in a huge slump... The emotional rollercoaster I just rode with this book was giving me travel sickness and whiplash 😆 How the author manages this I have no idea, the world building, the way I as a reader loved characters and hated many, the bread crumbs she has left and the shock factor when they resurface guns blazing. Everything in this book was just perfection 👌
Now i read this series alongside some friends and we was all up late reading and, arguing over who was the better MMC 🤣 Whilst they all have a piece of my heart I don't think anyone will change my mind about Logan. From the start I routed for him I knew there was more to he's story, yes he came off as a see you next Tuesday in books 1-3 but dont all our favourite book boyfriends? Book 4 for Logan was definitely a turning point and he has many twists and turns in store for us all.
Oh Ryder you had my heart from the beginning, I just wanted to pick you up and put you in my Ryder sized pocket. Yes you was a tad unhinged but only if you got caught. The way you bought Cade her hot chocolate every night was beautifully unhinged. The emotional turmoil poor Ryder faces throughout this series is just heartbreaking.
I knew Cole had a dark past, and book 4 was where this really started to visualise just how bad. Whilst I don't want to give any spoilers this got intense. And there's a line which stands out for me "Please, Help me" this broke my heart into a million pieces. The mum in me just wants to show Cole some real love and let him know it will all be ok.
Our poor Cade has been through so much you'd like to think she gets a break... Spoiler she doesn’t. But she again goes through her emotional trauma, whilst the world keeps throwing her curve balls from all directions.
I love a plot twist and we definitely got that throughout 🙌
The cliffhanger from the end of book 3 really did leave us hanging but it definitely started book 4 off with emotions already hightened. And truly they do not come down. These books are forever going to be one of my favorites, they hold a special place in my heart even if I did ugly cry.
So buckle up buttercup because your in for one hell of a ride with this series. Shits about to get bumpy. One recommendation start early in the morning because you wont want to put it down.

Firstly I need to say that this whole series of books has my heart fully!
The fourth book just wrapped everything up, it was utterly heart breaking in some parts but intensely satisfying in others! 😂
The story line and the inner turmoil and healing Cade experiences after the events of the other books is so beautifully written.
Through out books 1-3 I had a dislike for Logan and his character BUT this book for me was his redemption arc-the growth with his character was so well written in a way that makes you see a whole new side to him and I now love his character and his story line has twists and turns that had me on edge.
Ryder has always been my number one in these books and he breaks my heart in this book he goes through so much emotional damage but somehow still remains the Ryder we love!
Now Cole. My little baby Cole 😂🥹 he’s stole my heart throughout this book and I am still think about his story line and what he goes through. I saw a whole new side to him in this book and he will forever be my favourite ❤️
All in all Aisling is the queen of breaking my heart and her and these books made me cry more than anyone has in my life 😂
If any books are going to be forever emgrained into my psyche it’s these ❤️

I can’t describe the mix of emotions
Book 1 was fantastic
Book 2 was heartbreak
Book 3 was every emotion known to man
Book 4 was much more heartbreak than I could have anticipated
Covenant of control is the 4th book in the series, the book continues on straight from the events that happened previously storyline continues to bring out new complexities, heartbreak and developments throughout. I thought I was traumatised from book one, two and three I was wrong!!!
Aisling is a fantastic storyteller and can also produce a dark bulky romance tastefully, this book was the most heartbreaking and dark
So happy with something that happens though, the insignificance of it is just chef kiss and it was about time.
Ryder is still my baby
