Silent Night, Filthy Night
is a new Standalone from author Alexis Winter.
This Christmas Holiday, Best Friend’s Older Brother, Grumpy Sunshine, Rom-Com Romance follows the story of Hailey Evelyn Simpson and Cole Bennett Bristol through the telling of their dual POVs.
This book definitely has to be one of my top favourite Christmas Romance read from Alexis Winter, having enjoyed it very much.
The story delivered the perfect combination of holiday season vibes, romance and entertainment, while pacing out the development that made each page turn all the more easier and quicker.
Then again with a well written storyline that kept you intrigued and entertained with seeing the unfolding of Hailey and Cole’s individual journeys. As well as through the development of their relationship that slowly but surely bought them together.
On top of moments that included family and friends in form of secondary characters, that led to a lot of entertainment, given all the laughter they bought forth having you LOL'ing in certain moments. Particularly Cole's Little Sister and Hailey's Best Friend Maddie.
How could you not enjoy and want to keep reading on.
It was cute, cheesy yet sweet from the many feels and ooey gooey due to the romance.
As for the chemistry, it was very much alive and crackling whenever Hailey and Cole were in one another’s presence.
And with their back and forth banter, it made for funny moments, all the while the sparks continued to fly. Making it no surprise when it finally exploded leading them to give in.
When it came to the steam, it was very much steaming. So much so there was no need for any fireplace with how much heat Hailey and Cole delivered in their Red-Hot, Tantalising, Lustful, Fiery Spice moments every time they got down and dirty.
Once they got going, their pleasurable moments had them like animals in heat, especially with how long they went at it in their steamy times. They truly were insatiable.
If you’re looking for a Seasonal Holiday Romance that has the Forbidden element in being Best Friend’s Older Brother. But still warm and cozy with all the holiday feels and Rom-Com aspects from the sweet, cute and funny moments, yet spicy and filthy from the major explosive steam.
Then look no further because author Alexis Winter delivered exactly that with the story of Hailey and Cole in Silent Night, Filthy Night.

The Reason to Let go of the Past -
Cole had always seen Hailey as his younger sister’s nerdy best friend, but his attitude changed when they met again years later and she was now a total bombshell. Hailey had been crushing on her best friend’s brother for years, but he was popular and she was not, so she always stayed away from him. However, Hailey had no other choice than to contact Cole when she needed help, but the longing looks led to stolen kisses and an uncomfortable situation, which led to conflict between them.
Even though Cole tried to forget about Hailey due to his vow to stay from relationships, his heart just wouldn’t let him go, so he decided to acknowledge the inevitable and pursue a relationship with her. Whilst Cole and Hailey tried keeping the relationship a secret from her best friend, they didn’t realise everyone had already noticed the way they couldn’t keep their eyes and hands off each other. Nevertheless, Hailey and Cole realised their fear of his sister’s reaction was unfounded, as she was happy for both of them.
As luck would have it, Cold letting go of the past and grabbing the opportunity for a future with Hailey, led to the happy future they both deserved. This captivating story was so much more than just a romance, as it took me on a rollercoaster ride of emotion, but left me feeling good by the time I finished reading the book. I really enjoyed reading this book and will be very happy to recommend it to any avid romance reader looking for their next fantastic read.

What can I say about a story that leaves you with a lovely, pre Christmas warmth.
Hailey Simpson and Maddie Bristol had been best friends from childhood, inseparable to the point that Hailey was treated as just another member of the Bristol family. The time had come for Hailey and Maddie to part, Hailey was leaving Chicago to start her dream job in Denver.
Cole Bristol was Maddie's older brother, he had moved to Denver a few years ago and after a devastating break up, he rarely returned, Christmas was a hard time for him.
Hailey and Cole both loved Maddie so when she asked Cole to help her best friend move into her new apartment, he couldn't refuse.
Cole remembered Hailey as a gangly teenager with braces, he wasn't prepared for the stunning woman that alighted from the loaded car.
The chemistry between Hailey and Cole was immediate and combustible but Hailey knew of Cole's reputation with women and neither would do anything to hurt Maddie, you didn't ravish your little sister's best friend or lust after your best friend's big brother.
This is a heart warming story of two people fighting hard, and loosing, the attraction between them, it is witty, emotional and has an uplifting HEA.

Lives up to its steamy title!
Whoa! I could feel the chemistry/tension between these two from the moment they met. Obviously, they did too or we would not have gotten this highly provocative romance. Beyond the steam, there was an interesting story of redemption in that Cole Bristol had been a mess-up in his teen years; got involved with the wrong friends and almost ruined his life. At 19yo with very little money and an old truck, he leaves home with a phone number in his pocket which became his future and salvation in Denver. He learned construction, worked multiple jobs, slept in his truck and eventually became the man he was meant to be. His little sister is Maddie whose BFF Hailey is moving to Denver now. Hailey had been his little sister’s dorky friend so when Cole is reintroduced to her after this long time, he is attracted to the pretty woman immediately. Cannot happen! She is his sister’s friend; she is off limits. Or is she? Situations keep cropping up that give these two a chance to see the new versions of themselves. Along the way we get to be privy to the steam they cause together. My tablet almost overheated. If you like lots of passion and intimacy with your boy-meets-girl romance, you will want to read this one. I volunteered to review an ARC of it through Booksprout.

This is a great Christmas love story! It’ll melt your heart, falling in love with this couple who were meant to be together. They’ve known each other since they were kids as Hailey & Cole’s sister, Maddie, have been best friends for many years & Hailey has been welcomed into the Bristol family as one of their own.
Cole went through a break-up when his fiancée left him years ago. He had no interest in finding another woman to share his life with, that is, until Hailey moves to Colorado & needs his help with building furniture pieces & any other carpentry tasks. Hailey’s quite the flirt & gets under his skin quickly. Neither can forget each other, wanting more contact & being together. Beautifully written & such a touching story! All the good feels of a romance in the Colorado Rockies during the winter. I loved this one & I’d recommend this Christmas themed novel for you to read.

Another great Xmas read from Alexis. Hailey and Cole have known each other forever. Hailey is Cole's younger sister's best friend, he remembers her as a teen with braces and a mess of gangly limbs. Cole has moved from Chicago to Denver to escape the breakup that nearly destroyed him. When Hailey accepts a job in Denver, Maddie, Cole's sister, ropes him into helping with the move. Cole is knocked sideways when he sees the woman Hailey has grown into.
Attracted to each other from the start our couple avoid the obvious pull they have, Cole because he doesn't do serious anymore and Hailey because she loves Maddie too much. You don't chase your best friends brother, do you!!!

Such a good story! Both Cole and Hailey had full, productive lives but are missing someone to share things with. Cole had been on a bad track but took himself off to Denver, started at the bottom learning building, and eventually built his own successful business. But despite that, his fiancée had broken their engagement without explanation and he had closed himself off from both relationships and his family. Hailey had moved to Denver for her dream job but had left behind her family, her friend group, and her sister of the heart (who happened to be Cole’s sister). Their story - two steps forward, one step back - the connection and spark that brightened both their lives, was so real, angsty and sweet. LOVED these two finding each other and building a life together (and yes, happy tears at the end)!.

Ready for a Hallmark quality Christmas romance that's got ALL the heat?
Then you NEED this book.
Silent Night, Filthy Night is my favorite kind of holiday romance. It's a little fun, it's got some heart and just the right amount of tugging, it's sweet and of course it's sexy as well.
Cole Bristol is a reformed bad boy- now just a bit of a Christmas grump who keeps to himself mostly. That is until his little sister calls and asks him to help out her best friend who is moving to Denver.
Hailey is my kind of girl. An introvert that was "adopted" by an extrovert and the two of them attached at the hip ever since. This is Hailey and Maddie to a "T", so when Hailey moves thousands of miles away- it's no wonder Maddie tasks her brother with being her companion and making sure she doesn't just hide away in her apartment alone. Only Cole doesn't really do people all that much himself- which is why these two click so perfectly together. Hailey is that kind of reserved that only lasts until you get to know her and then the sass and personality come out. Just like Cole is only kind of a grump- until you get him to relax.
I love the idea that Cole was this wild child that needed to go out on his own to finally grow up and calm down. It set it up perfectly for Hailey's childhood crush to really get some traction with this newer version of who Cole was. On the other hand it also worked against them in that Cole was battling himself and his attraction because he knew exactly how important Hailey was to his sister and he didn't want anything to mess up their relationship as well as his relationship with her.
I loved the pull and the heat between these two- and the awkward journey home for the holiday's together was just perfection. There was some pops of drama- just enough to make things entertaining but I also found myself giggling and so giddy over parts of this story because of how much I loved Hailey and Cole together.
I think this just might be one of my favorite Alexis Winter holiday books!

Wow
Cole and Hailey's Christmas love story was absolutely beautiful.
The chemistry extremely strong, full of sparks.
Hailey best friends with Cole's baby sister had a school crush on him and visa versa.
She moved to Denver for a job and reconnected with him. He bacame her handyman and the feelings returned for both. They kept it a secret.
Story had everything lots of adventure, lots of funny parts I cold not stop laugh.
Stronge family ties. Lots of love, laughter, joy, passion fun, uncertainties, trust.
Very detailed you can envision the words.
Both characters had a great sense of humor and strong connection it came across throughout the book.
His mother was so cute. How she quickly caught on during Christmas Festivities
before they were caught kissing and exposed.

December 11, 2025Hallmark movie, meets spicy romance book. This is what was going through my head when I read this. Alexis definitely knows how to write a cute Christmas story, and this one is no different.
So if you like a Best Friends older brother, Friends to lovers, forbidden, tension and angst then look no further, this Christmas story has all of that and more.
I tried to savor this story for as long as I could, as it has all the feels of the Christmas season, new relationships, finding happiness even if it is your best friends brother. This personally hit home for me as I have met my person(I hope anyways) and its the best feeling of being truly happy during the Christmas season.
Merry Christmas Everyone, I truly wish you all the happiness you deserve.

This best friend's older brother story revolves around Hailey, Cole and Cole's sister, Maddie. I adored Hailey and Maddie's close friendship. Although they were like sisters, they were actually sisters without the sibling squabbles. The history between the two of them was so sweet. It was very difficult for them to be separated when Hailey had to move away for her new job.
Cole has some baggage but I appreciated how he grew into his own. I loved the banter between him and Hailey and enjoyed how their relationship developed even though I wanted to hit him upside the head a few times.
The families and neighbors will have you laughing or at least grinning widely and the ending of the book was definitely a feel good one.

This is a great Christmas book that will definitely melt the snow. Hailey is moving to Denver where her best friend’s brother just happens to live. So, when Maddie asks her brother Cole to help Hailey move in is agrees. He remembers Hailey as his kid sisters’ best friend who had braces and wasn’t the cutest. Now she is all grown up and when he sees her is floored by how beautiful she is.
Of course, Hailey and Cole have a definite connection but he knows he shouldn’t cross that line because it’s his sisters bf. We know that isn’t going to happen.
Another wonderful story from this amazing author. It is a must read.

I really enjoyed reading, Silent Night, Filthy Night (Kindle Edition) by Alexis Winter because it was a steamy and spicy story about Hailey and Cole. Cole was Hailey's best friends brother and was helping her move in and that is where everything changed. Their spice was literally off the charts. But each were denying it until it couldn't be denied anymore. Each of them needed each other. It was a second chance at happiness for both. I received an ARC of this story and I am voluntarily choosing to leave this review. Loved it and the characters and the steam and spice. I would highly recommend reading. I read it in one night because I couldn't put it down.

This holiday book is as steamy as a cup of hot cocoa and don't forget the marshmallows. It has lots of sweetness, too.
I love best friend's older brother books. Cole moved away years ago and when Maddie moves to a new town, Cole isn't exactly sorry it happens to be the same town he moved to. Being all alone in a new town, she welcomes her best friends' big brother...big, strong brother with muscles for miles. I can't blame her for finding things for him to assemble and fix. I pictures piles of ikea boxes just waiting for Cole's arrival.
These two get along well. There is lots of fun dialogue and a very strong chemistry.
It is a fun read and perfect for the holiday. Enjoy!

This book is absolutely fantastic and will definitely have you hooked from the beginning until the end and its best friends brother taboo that is smoking hot and just in time for Christmas. When Hailey moves to Denver and her bf brother helps them unload her stuff will sparks fly between them? I definitely loved this book and the characters and smoking hot sex scenes. Great Book and just in time for Christmas.

It's Christmas time and romance happens.

The sparks are flying and the chemistry is sizzling for these two. This was a fun, Christmas time romance with family, friends and friction. It's kind of a forbidden romance but not.
Very well written. I enjoyed the dynamic of not just Hailey and Cole but with family, carollers, and all the excitement of Christmas. A great book i truly enjoyed!.

This author has done it again. This book has all the explosions of Christmas followed by family and romance.
Hailey and Cole have this chemistry that would make even Santa blush. Maddie - we all need a best friend like her.
I never wanted this story to finish. Even in the sweltering Australian heat, it made me long for snow, a cosy blanket and a steaming mug of hot chocolate.
Get comfortable as you read this ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ book.

Hailey has anew job in Denver and the only person she is going to know there is her best friend, Maddie's older brother, Cole. When Hailey is struggling to settle in and put together some furniture, Maddie tells her to ask Cole to help. As he helps her, both Hailey and Cole are fighting their attraction to each other. However, this proves impossible and when Maddie persuades Hailey to let Cole give her a ride home for Christmas, their chemistry is more than obvious to Cole's family and her own. Wonderful holiday read.

I LOVED this book! Hailey and Cole had such great chemistry. They started with a slow burn that left me feeling butterflies!
I wasn’t crazy about how Cole behaved in the coffee shop even though I get that he was trying to protect her (in his mind, at least). I didn’t get why he thought she deserved better than him. He alluded to similar sentiments a few times, but never gave reasons why. His previous gf/fiancé left him for seemingly no reason.
I loved how this story ended!.

Cute Spicy Christmas fun!

Moving half way across the country for Haliey was something new. She was leaving her family and her best friend. Luckily best friend's older brother Cole was in her new city. Cole helped her move in & fix some things, so drinks for a thank you let us see the sparks!!
They both try to fight what they know is there for a little bit , but like every great Alexis Winter book.... you have to read this to get to the great stuff!! You don't want to miss this one!!

Despite his attraction to her, Cole tries to keep his distance not only because she is his little sister’s best friend but also because he has sworn off relationships and Christmas because of his ex. However as he helps her with various things to settle, he discovers that both Christmas and Hailey are just what he didn’t know he needed or wanted. This is a fun, spicy, seasonal romance that is very enjoyable.

Silent Night, Filthy Night is another beautiful book from Ms Alexis Winters. This is about Hailey and Cole. This is a best friend/best friend's brother love story, the history between them goes a long way and its so sweet that Hailey finds it difficult to move away for her new job. They also have lovely family around who also adds to the fun and makes the book interesting.
