**Beta read review**
This story has ended me!!! Seriously! This book has so much tension and character depth and world building. It is so, so well done and it’s still in its beta era! The characters come to life! They are so flawed and wholesome and their friendships are so amazing. The family dynamics in TC Jenson’s books always amaze me. She does true family and found family, so well and I adore all the scenes with the siblings!

That ending….um excuse me….I need book 3 please. Like right now. Ugh!!!! This book Absolutely crushed it!

Go read book one now because book two needs to be on your must read list!

**ARC READ review**

A more polished and smoother read than the beta draft, but the review above absolutely holds true. The ending of this book is such a cliffhanger!! I still need book 3 right now!!

The found family was amazing. The depiction of the war and how families are separated during it was so well done. It resonated with me. I also loved the True family. The way the characters are flawed and make mistakes, but love and forgive is amazing.

The political aspects of this book are spot on. If you like conflicts and wars from history, this is a dystopian fantasy you need to try. I said it before with book 1 and I will say it about book 2, these stories reflect real life. You can feel the history being portrayed. Minorities and out casts from society facing oppression have a huge role in this storyline.

No spoilers because it’s not out yet. I have a few quotes I loved. And the ending…..gah!!! TC you are trying to end me with that ending.

Tropes:
Found family
Rebellion
Time travel
Power training

I wrote this so I want to talk about it - if you love secret societies, betrayals, family lore, magic-wielders, and an epic love story, you’ll love this.

Other highlights: the found family and true family themes, political intrigue, unexpected dystopian aspects, and an enemies-friends-frenemies-??? slow burn that might just drive you insane

And who doesn’t love a diverse cast with Black FMCs at the center. 💫🥰 please read and leave a review! I’m an indie author and I’ll love you forever.

I have the absolute honor and privilege to be a beta reader for TC Jenson, and I was able to read an early copy of Echoes of Void and Ruin. Let me just say that even as an unpolished, not quite ready for publication, work in progress, this was one of the most incredible books I've ever read. Her writing style draws you in from the very beginning. Her world building is amazing, and her characters feel like real people who you will love, (or hate, depending). This is book 2 in the series, and you absolutely need to read book 1 first. Together, these books give you an immersive, dystopia combined with romantasy and are absolutely worth reading.

OUT OF THIS WORLD! Twist after turn after twist after TURN

This book starts with more insight into Levi and how he happened to become a huge part of Benn’s life. We get more Juniper. She’s the youngest of the 4 characters and is struggling with things she did/saw during the battle in the previous title, however, there’s a twist to her struggle. We get to read Juniper sort through everything going on in her brain and what changes are happening with her while Levi watches and tries to help her as best as he can with Junipers permission.

We get more of Leola and Benn’s blooming romance as well as the hardships of navigating their relationship with the war still going on.

I appreciate how this book goes more into detail with the harm of misinformation and propaganda. It is so relevant with everything going on in today’s society. The book is continually referencing historical issues we are seeing resurface in our daily life.

TC Jenson just wrote the romantsy of the YEAR. I cannot begin to tell you how much effort was put into this world building. There’s is no stone left unturned. No wire not cut. No avenue left unexplored. She pulled out all the stops and connected every single plot line. Then in the last few chapters BAM - it makes the perfect sense and you’re left devastated. I loved every second of this book. This book also made me feel seen on a different level. I remember being the only indigenous student in classes and the moment reservations were brought up - heads just shot my way, comments were made. You wrote the feeling every child of color has gone through in school.

Now here are some notes I took while reading -

THE WAY I WAS FREAKING OUT AND PRACTICALLY SCREAMING AT WHAT HAPPENED 60% THROUGH THE BOOK. OMG LET ME PLEASE ME CORRECT.

STOP I CRIED 😭😭 I KNEW IT OH MY GOD I KNEW IT 😭😭

Ending - YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDDDING ME!!!

From the moment I started, I couldn’t keep my hands off this ARC!! I was truly fighting sleep and resenting responsibilities because all I wanted to do was get to the next page!

Echoes of Void and Ruin is truly a masterpiece of a book 2. We got a lot of answers to things that were left in the balance of book 1 AND the plot thickens!! There was absolutely no lacking on the Fantasy, the Dystopian or the Romance. I giggled and fell even more in love with these characters, and even new ones feel like family to me.

Now — I had a lot of fun reading this, but don’t be confused because EOVAR is an extremely emotional book and touches on a lot of trauma! these characters have gone through the wringer. But what I love is the way they love each other. Anytime there is Leo and Bug dialogue I feel like I’m reading a scene out of my real life with my sister. It’s heavy on ANYTHING for you.

My favorite aspects of this read:

- The verbiage!! I truly LOVE to hear our voice, our dialect in Fantasy.
- Found Family, always will win me over. especially when it’s SO needed.
- The on-going action. there are really no dull moments in this book.
- THE MAGIC!! perfection, love the elemental magic. I love that there are power reserves and we can’t just do things with no consequences & I love the new discoveries
- The villains were VILLAINING! I want so many heads SMH. I’m shook after that cliffhanger.

So I said all that to say, I need book 3 like… yesterday!

MY MIND IS BLOWN! That was SO damn good! I was riveted, fascinated and entirely enthralled the whole time. Every single millisecond of it.

To dive back into this beautiful written and lush filled world was like finally returning home after being away for far too long & being fully embraced by it.

The sheer amount of thought, creation & chronological planning that TC fed into this book has me in awe of her talent. She curated an otherworldly experience that swept me away from page one.

Leola, Juniper, Benn, Levi, Asha (& a couple more that I won’t name to avoid spoilers) weaved their way into my heart and feel more than just mere characters in an incredible book. I love them all dearly. Part of me was so scared to read this because of how strongly I feel for each character. I just knew my heart wouldn’t withstand a loss like one of them.

TC, I thank you for the bottom of my soul for gifting me BOTH books in this series so far & for your diligence on getting them out into the world. I am letting you know now, that I am on my knees begging you for book three as well. Waiting until 2027 may be torturous but I refuse to rush your process. Whatever you’re doing is work👏ing👏!

The plot was gripping, the magic system was even better than I remembered, the villains were surprising and that ending had me losing my freaking mind. If you haven’t read Echoes Of Hollow & Ember, do yourself a favor and do so. I envy anyone who can binge both books one after the other. The wait was a difficult one but so very worth it! I can’t wait for the next one!🧡

Welcome back to Heri. The prophecy was true, and the pair were able to take down the enemy. The celebration is short. They’re still in the middle of a war, but haven’t had a moment to breathe. In TC Jenson’s dystopian romantasy The Echoes of Ruin and Void, we follow our group as they navigate a world where getting rid of the enemy was only the beginning.

Juniper Runes’s life has turned upside down in a matter of months. Her entire life she was a Mundaner, trying to survive the harsh world created by prejudice and bigotry. Now, she discovers that not only does she wield powers, but is part of a prophecy to help end this war. Well, she took them on and won, with the help of her sister and friends. But now, she’s dealing with the repercussions, but even as she tries to deal with it, trauma has a way of meddling. Levi Miravale is part of the legendary Seer family, but is the only surviving member left. His memories are hazy from what happened when he was younger, but he managed to find the Wyndmeres and the rest is history. Both have experienced love and lost at such a young age. As secrets begin to unfold, everything they know is being tested, and even those close to them are suspect.

It’s no secret that war will affect everyone. With the events of the last book, Juniper is struggling, to say the least. So much has happened, and even as she tries to process everything that happened, she becomes reclusive, barely talking to everyone and her therapist. Even when she tries to put up a facade, she hides to prevent everyone from what she’s dealing with. Even when they know something is wrong and they try to help, it’s up to Juniper to take that initiative. Anyone dealing with trauma has the voices of doubt come in. Sometimes it feels like trauma has personified itself, as you feel it everywhere, in your mind butting in giving unhelpful commentary, looking over your shoulder, or entering your dreams. How does one have a moment of reprieve when doubt is everywhere?

Discrimination, bigotry, racism, and jingoism run rampant throughout Heri. We get glimpses of how a world that used to be tolerant ended up where it is today. How even small events plant the seeds for what will happen in the future. Even in the midst of a rebellion, we dive deeper into the familial relationship dynamics of our characters. While they all love one another, there is still inklings of mistrust amongst them. Power dynamics also affect them as well, as it’s hard to separate the person who is family and the person who is in charge. As the sisters have joined the Underground, every new and familiar person is seen in a new light. Everything is done in the name of the rebellion and for the future, the question is what will it take to achieve said goal.

In the first book, Leola and Ben’s relationship sparked like flames, similar to Leona’s power. Everything happened so fast, but once they knew, they knew. Juniper and Levi’s are different in that it takes time for their relationship to grow, just like the plants Juniper loves. Also, their banter is hilarious, in that two highly intelligent people are quick with reading the other and the comebacks keep coming. Their slow frenemies to lovers relationship is enjoyable to read. At first, they tolerate each other at best. Slowly, they lean on each other to help each other through their respective traumas and start to become the other’s person. Whether love is instant and burns like flames, or takes time to grow and blossom, it’s enjoyable to see our sisters find moments to be with someone even in the middle of a rebellion.

Let’s talk about hair representation. As always, it’s important to never touch someone without their consent, including their hair. While some may think it isn’t, for others it’s an important part of their identity and culture. There is a moment when Levi washes Juniper’s hair, and it’s not just a simple shampoo and conditioner. I’m talking about all of the steps and hair products used. This was a very intimate scene between the two, with a lot of care and trust in doing some. This was an important element of their relationship.

All in all, this was as enjoyable to read as the first book. The plot kept me intrigued, keeping me guessing where everything will go. Our group keeps learning something new, and every twist and turn will have readers glued. With everything that happens at the end of the story, I can’t wait to see what happens next. Remember the Underground.

I received an advance reader copy of this book from T.C. Jenson for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. My intentions are to write feedback that reflects my genuine thoughts and is written with the book’s genre and target audience in mind. I aim to review fairly and respectfully, focusing on the story’s purpose.

*ARC read*

Ohmygod this was such an action packed story with twists and turns that had me on the edge of my seat.

I feel in love with these characters all over again. Benn and Leo, the power couple, did not disappoint this book. Just the love and connection they have for each other was really beautiful. And they are so powerful too. They were kicking butt this whole book and I absolutely loved it!

Of course my favorite duo would be Juniper and Levi. I absolutely loved them in book 1 but in this book??? Oh they were just everything!! Their chemistry, their banter, the budding feelings??? Loved it all. Levi is just so devoted and would do anything for Juniper.

Juniper was the star of this book. She goes on a JOURNEY. And of course, trying not to trouble anyone, she keeps her worries and terrors to herself but little does she know, a certain bespeckled seer is always looking out for her. I seriously could not get enough of these two.

But beyond the relationship aspect of the story, which was amazing, there definitely is an evil lurking and it's closer than anyone thinks. The enemy is growing stronger, the mysteries are piling up, and the inconsistencies are making you question everything. I absolutely loved the flashback scenes. The looking into the past was some of my favorite scenes from this book. I love a well done flashback because it brings forth answers to questions but also gives insight to the characters.

And of course, the last 30 pages were an absolute whirlwind of emotions. I was seriously at the edge of my seat!!! Because what do you mean????? Like it's all starting to make sense, the pieces are coming together but how can this book end on such a cliffhanger?????? I need the next book IMMEDIATELY

Thank you to the author for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I absolutely loved Echoes of Void and Ruin. From the very beginning, I was completely invested in the story, the characters, and the emotional journey they were taken on.

What made this book especially meaningful to me was Juniper. Her struggles, fears, and internal battles felt incredibly real, and I found myself relating to her in ways I wasn’t expecting. Watching her wrestle with questions about who she is, what she’s becoming, and whether she can overcome the darkness around her was both heartbreaking and inspiring. Her character felt raw, human, and beautifully written.

The emotional depth of this story is what truly stood out to me. The characters are carrying the weight of loss, war, and impossible choices, yet they continue to fight for the people they love. I found myself feeling every victory, every setback, and every moment of hope alongside them.

The world-building continues to expand in exciting ways, and the stakes feel higher than ever. There were moments that had me anxious, emotional, and completely unable to put the book down. The balance between action, character development, and emotional storytelling was done so well.

This is one of those books that stays with you after you’ve finished reading. I connected with the characters, especially Juniper, and found myself thinking about her long after I turned the last page.

If you enjoy fantasy with complex characters, emotional depth, high stakes, and themes of identity, resilience, and hope, I highly recommend this book.

This was such an amazing sequel to the first novel. In all honesty easy, I struggled a bit figuring out what exactly was going on in the first novel - this one though, everything was perfectly clear. I was so invested in the characters! I truly fell in love with them all. The writing had so much depth and the storyline is superb!

First of all I want to say that I had the privilege to receive this book as an ARC - but what can I say! I absolutely loved the story. I really enjoyed that both Levi and Juniper were more in focus this time! It was super cool to follow juniper character development as well as seeing how Levi and Juniper finally got closer to each other after all the yearning! Absolutely brilliant :) the only criticism I have is that i wish it could have been longer! And I don't even want to get started about the ending. Picked up in pace so much and really kept you hooked to the very last page!

REVIEW OF ADVANCED COPY RECEIVED FROM AUTHOR

This review is coming late but all thoughts are my own and posted willingly.

This book is incredible. The story is so captivating and i fell even more in love with the characters. I loved that book 2 focused more on Levi and Juniper and we got to see their love bloom (pardon the pun).

SPOILERS BELOW!!!!
I got bad vibes from Sena this entire book so i kind of assumed something bad would happen but holy shit I did not expect that. The ending is giving me mixed emotions because how dare you hurt my sweet little bug like that but also i cannot wait for book 3!

This is one of my most anticipated books for 2026! I've been waiting since I pre-ordered back in December, and it did not disappoint!👻

What I love:
- sisterhood
- eldest sister rep (I had a good cry 🖤😹
- yearning 😻
- Levi just dishing out lines, making me giggle and kick my feet
- healthy relationships
- found family. How they care and want the best for each other
- magic system
- how this book relates to the current events in the world
Herians have been conditioned to not ask questions — so long as it's not their livelihoods being threatened. The trickle of misinformation keeps the peace. In exchange, they don't ask about the "conflicts."
.
- Mental health rep! Some lines felt like my therapist was talking to me 😆
- the suspense? kept me at the edge of my seat

Book 1 was our introduction to this world, the sisters, and it was also Leo and Benn's book. This one focuses more on Juniper and Levi and delves deeper into the story. We get to learn more about the magic system, the Seers, and how their powers work and manifest differently. It was a refreshing take on the ability and expands it more than just seeing the future. I've mentioned this before, but the fact that there are pros and cons for magic is a plus for me. They have to be mindful of their power reserves, and we're reminded that power is only as good as the person wielding it.
I liked the pacing; it starts slow-medium-fast. By the end, I was squatting on top of my seat at the dinner table with my kindle, like this:

description

Here are my emotions as I read the book:

Thank you, author, for giving me access to read and leave an honest review of the book!

I highly recommend it if you're looking for Romantasy, a cool magic system, a book that is relevant to our world's current events, and if you feel lost and in need of a support system. 🖤✨

I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to read the ARC of this book.

Starting Echoes of Void and Ruin held the same feeling of watching the first episode after a recap of the last season of your favourite show.
I recalled the trauma that everyone had gone through. Honestly, Juniper seemed brash in the first book but now? I just want to give my favourite Earth poweress a long, comforting hug.
I felt everything with her and her story is one of the best representations of mental health I’ve read in a while. It’s hard to accept help sometimes, even when you desperately need it.

I loved reading about Levi’s family, I loved how real he was with Juniper; caring enough whilst still giving her space. I didn’t even realise that gift giving is one of my love languages but Levi has convinced me otherwise.

The slow burn was necessary and realistic.
Everything about this story is just— guys I wish I could send a voice note as a review 😩 The last chapters crushed me!

I hated Sena since book one and book two just confirmed that I’m not mad. I don’t care to know her reasons, I almost strangled her whenever she was mentioned.

Juniper Runes, I could never hate you! Your journey is one people need to read about. You have shown that people deserve grace, patience, love and ultimate care even when they are falling apart.

Levi always asking for permission before telepathic communication? I love a consensual king.

Someone give Benn a break, he was holding everyone down as always. He needs a break! Leola has to be the best big sister in the world, navigating her trauma and still supporting Junebug through it all.
In fact, everybody needs a break.

“All is fair in love and war” bullshit! There is nothing fair about our babies going through all of that.

Sena, I’ll be reporting you to my village people, your calabash must shake!!

And most of all, a round of applause and endless supply of fresh flowers for TC Jenson. You have done an absolutely fantastic job and I can’t wait for the next book.

I was given an Advanced Readers Copy of Echoes of Void and Ruin by the amazing author TC Jensen in exchange for an honest review so here it is.

After reading book 1, Echoes of Hollow and Ember I was excited to see where this world, this story, would go. I am happy to say this book did not disappoint.

Book one follows Leola and Juniper Runes two sisters whose lives change after finding out nearly everything they know about themselves was wrong. Book 1 was primarily focused on getting the girls out of danger and relying on them to stop a massive threat why also exploring a destined relationship for Leola. Leola was more the main character in this regard though they were both important.

Book two turns the focus on Juniper after so many life altering situations in book one, Juniper is lost and secluding herself for fear of what she might become. She doesn’t want to hurt her family and friends or put them in a bad situation. The plot twist is something you’ll see if you look close but is easy to miss. Actually there are two plot twists, one in my opinion that was evident in the very beginning. The other I think the last 100 pages is when it all because crystal clear & even clearer was the inevitability of the cliffhanger.

One thing I love about this series is the relationships between the characters, Leo and Benn were put together before we really got a chance to see the dynamic between them but in book two you see how perfect they truly are together. The relationship between Juniper and Levi on the other hand played out in a perfect slow burn. Other relationships, familial that I loved was the relationships with the entire group, Levi, Leo, Benn, Juniper, Asha and Jewel.

I could go on and on about this book & I likely will never stop talking about the series.

This book left me wanting so much more, I will be first in line for the next installment of this series.

Echoes of Void and Ruin

Book 2 of the Scorched Divide series

TC Jenson

This novel blew me away! Since this is the second in a series, I'll do my best not to spoil anything but for my spoiler-free review of book one, Echoes of Hollow and Ember, check my profile, Instagram (@the.midnight.review) or blog (midnightreview.movie.blog) ✨

Our heroines, the Prophesied Pair Leola and Juniper, have been recruited by the resistance. But as they learn more about their powers and the state of their world, and a dark family secret comes to light, the two sisters become more isolated from each other — and Juniper worries that there is something deeply wrong with her magic.

Featuring a very slow burn love story, Echoes of Void and Ruin is primarily a story of trauma — learning to heal, learning to keep fighting injustice, and learning to let others in. Jenson masterfully weaves in the realities of PTSD and self-isolation with the very real need to keep masking, performing, and being "enough" when your world is falling apart.

The growth of the sisters' magic is quite a ride, as is the developing romance that I've been SCREAMING for since the characters met in book one. I loved the realm-crossing within visions and the mystery presented in the form of a strange, masked villain. I also LOVED learning more about Levi's past, motivations, and powers.

Following in the footsteps of book one, the evil in this story is rooted deeply in the reality of propaganda, racism, and control. Exploring themes of power and corruption, betrayal, and love, Echoes of Void and Ruin is a must-read for fans of political fantasy and sci-fi.

Thank you to TC Jenson for the advance readers copy. All opinions are my own.

Picking up where book 1 left off we experience the aftermath of the brutal battle that has changes the sisters in different ways.

In this book we focus a little more of the romance development between Juniper and Levi. We experienced and grew to love Leola and Benn's relationship in book 1 and in book 2 we see them still building together.

Juniper and Levi's relationship was definitely a slow burn because Juniper is the one who was affected the most from the events in book 1 and for that reason it was hard for her to let down her guard as well as get control over her ever-growing magic. Juniper and Levi relationship transitioned from training together, going on missions together to friends to eventually more. Levi is already in love with Juniper but is willing to put his feelings on the sideline to ensure that she is safe above all else.

Our Power Quad: Leola, Benn, Juniper and Levi were fighting for the rebellion as well as their own lives. The attempt on the sister's lives has intensified and their enemy is closer to home than they would like. There is more danger, higher stakes, more deception and betrayal. With each sister's powers growing and evolving time is of the essence in helping them get a handle on everything without causes harm to them or others.

The cliff hanger at the end of this book made my jaw drop. I had my suspicions about a certain character, and I am pleased to see that I was correct.

Book 3 can't come soon enough because that ending had my heart racing.

This book is exceptionally written. It captivated my attention the entire time. The relationship between the chosen sisters is one to be envied, due to the pure love that is shared between them. Juniper and Leola are also navigating a new world of relationships of their own. TC Jenson did a fantastic job of weaving all of the magical powers, the passion, the intensity and diversity of each character into a page gripping masterpiece.

It was hard for me to put this book down. I made connections to characters in ways that I didn’t expect to. This passage resonated with me, “She’d never harbored hate for the people that chose silence and compliance. In their defense, it took an astronomical amount of energy to defend something they didn’t understand; in her defense, though, it took crushing amounts to defend herself when society couldn’t love her simply for… well, being born different from what they perceived as perfect. Right. Clean. Safe. Useful. Worthy. “ when society doesn’t love you, simply because of who you are.

If you haven’t read Book One, Echoes of Hollow and Ember, get it, read it! Be prepared to be drawn into this series, so order your copy of Book Two of the Scorched Divide Series, Echoes of Void and Ruin right now!!

ARC Review ❤️ all my thanks to the author

The ending of this book is amazing, diabolical, and "staring at the wall for the next 3 hours" worthy. I LOVED the first one and I LOVED this one. Parts of this story felt less like events from a fantasy dystopia, and more like a direct reflection of right now.

Throughout the first book, I felt like I was getting to meet the characters in such a real way. It felt almost like I was a part of their crew, but I am not a chosen one 18 year old (honestly, I am okay with that). Especially because the stakes got much more lethal and war torn in this one. I still loved going deeper into more characters' minds. Juniper's growth and development throughout the course of this book just feels so important.

The love story?! Exquisite. A slow burn filled with yearning, banter, and friendship. Juniper and Levi have got to be one of my new favorite couples. Levi is such a green flag.

I had some minor issues with contingency and clarity for some parts. They took me out of the story just a touch, but they did not take away from the book overall.

If you haven't read these books and you're into dystopian stories and magic, then you are missing out.

Wow! T.C. Jenson really blew me away with book two, Echoes of Void and Ruin. Everything I loved about book one, but more! If book three were available now, I’d have grabbed it instantly upon finishing book two! That ending was achingly painful – annnnnnd I loved it!

Book two takes place mostly in the underground, centered on trauma and our heroes moving through it as well as they can. It’s a slow build with lots of world building and character development, mystery, intrigue, and secrets. There’s a little more romance and spice too, which was very nicely done. We get to learn more about the powers our characters wield – which was super fun and interesting.

T.C. Jenson has put a heck of a lot of work into designing this story, all the bits and pieces of it and how they interconnect to tell a mesmerizing tale of survival, growth, love, morals, family, and duty.

I really enjoyed book two and cannot wait for book three. T.C. Jenson has definitely got a huge fan in me – I’ll be gobbling up any book she puts out!

Fantasy readers, come running and grab your copies of this series as soon as you can!

I am not sure where to start. Juniper was not my favourite character in book 1 and the beginning of this did not redeem her to me but boy oh boy was I in for a surprise.
I don't think they're was just 1 thing that made me change my mind but by the end of this she was one of my favourite characters.
There was a lot of trauma that was unpacked and everytime something new was disclosed my heart broke a little more.
Levi is so sweet with how he cares for Juniper and he stuck by her no matter how hard she tried to push him away.
I couldn't believe the end and I really hope something terrible happens to the person that was responsible for it all!
I need book 3 right now!!
If you like found family, unique magic, and betrayal you will love this.
I received an advanced reader copy but these thoughts are my own.

The second installation of this dystopian series does not disappoint. We are thrown back into this modern Warzone fantasy world with the two sisters who are the chosen ones. So many secrets were revealed in the second book I couldn’t possibly begin to talk about them without spoiling. This story touches on very realistic facets of life, but also what real life can look like when combined with a magical world with dictators and abusers. Non-magic folk still being treated as chattel to further the agenda of the new leader of the oppression. It does end on a cliffhanger so be prepared thank you so much for the author for my advanced reader copy I cannot wait for the next installment of the story!

Very plot and character driven you will get sucked into the intruiges of Opasteg and the Underground.
Who's the bad one after all??? That cliffhanger at the end will make you kick your feet.
The only thing I missed as we followed Juniper's story is how she started feeling the way she does towards one of the magic wielding mmc's.

Are we finding out who Asha's love interest is in the 3rd book? And will Opasteg finally be done with? Will definitely try my hardest to find out!!

Thx @TC Jenson for the eARC. Always happy to give my honest opinion!

Thank you so much to author TC Jenson for the ARC of this book. It’s an honor to read your work & share my thoughts on this upcoming release!

This book had me from the first page. It picks up right where Hollow and Ember leaves off and is action packed from beginning to end. If you want a book that will keep you up turning pages this will be it.

This second book in the series focuses on what on earth is going on with Juniper Runes. The tension and banter is something Jenson does so incredibly well. Arguably my favorite part of her writing is the character banter.

There’s things that come up from their pasts that are currently affecting their present. There’s betrayal, political intrigue, family conflicts, and so much more. I’m still in shock that this is only the second book that TC Jenson has published because her talent is something else.

Please check trigger warning before proceeding but also please read this series because I need more friends to yap with about it.

I honestly don't enough enough words to describe how I felt reading this. There were twists and turns that i was not expecting to happen and everything was so very well written. The way the story progressed, even with this book being significantly longer than the first one, never felt like it was too long. Connections, powers, plot twists, etc. It was all so good and that cliffhanger?! I cannot wait to see what happens in book 3!!!

I have been arc reading for TC Jenson it’s the first installment of this series, and I can with full confidence say this is by far one of my favorite series I’ve read!

I was obsessed with the first one, this one is just as good if not better!!! I was at the edge of my seat the whole time holding my Kindle in a grip so tight it almost snapped!!!

This was a 4.75 for me!!!
