Blech~! Some kids need the death penalty, and some can be rehabilitated. I have no patience for bad kids with guns dealing drugs. Take 'em out. Best thing they can do is take each other out. Unfortunately, sometimes the innocent ones die, too.

The non-fiction book , “Kids Who Kill”, by Herma Silverstein is a fantastic book for those who are interested in basic statistics. I was a bit amazed by how much kids in the world commit these harsh murders. I would not recommend this book necessarily for kids because of all the violence the book talks about. As a teen myself, I was frightened and shocked because who knows if my friends are even capable of doing these harsh murders.
The book goes over basic statistics about the killings that young teens commit. Some kids kill because they are forced and some kill because they have no idea about what they are doing. Adults need to take into consideration that they don't know exactly what their child is going through. Some kids are on drugs and others are simply out of their minds. “ Doctors said both abnormalities were caused by an anticonvulsant drug his mother took for epilepsy while pregnant with Eric”(pg.56). If I were an adult I would have serious talks with my children because I would want to ensure that they are feeling okay and happy. This book is very harsh in some chapters because the author gets deep into detail and explains how the kids exactly kill. I wouldn't think children would want to read these types of books but it might be a good example of what to avoid.
Overall I rate this book a 3 out of 5 because it wasn’t really attention grabbing. It had pure facts and few actual stories. This book is definitely not recommended for children but highly recommended for mature teens. This book was a great eye opener on how I should be aware of what people I surround myself with.

this book is about kids who kill. the book has diffrent passages saying about wild kids who follow there parants foot steps.they have bad lives, other people who picks on them at school. that gives them the reason to take wepons to school & kill the other kids. there are diffrent type of jails they can go to acording to there age. if you are a teenager & you kill someone you are going to jail.but this book also describes why they have the disire to kill.
