Okay, besties, strap in tight cuz I just fried my last brain cell on this total shitshow and I gotta vent this hot mess to you NOW! 😂🤮
So here's the clusterfuck: Poppy hits up an anniversary dinner with her in-laws, they pound shots like champs, and boom! They spill that her hubby Fletcher went on a FULL-ON DATE with his ex Megan ONE WEEK before the wedding! Not some lame coffee bullshit, nah! He picked her ass up! They yapped all night! He straight-up KISSED her! AND LOVED IT! Said it felt like old times! 😩 Oh, and get this: He fucking BOLTED the morning of the wedding! Daddy had to drag his sorry ass back so Poppy wouldn't get wrecked in front of everyone! So Fletcher only married her outta pity and duty! Lit! 🔥🙄
Poppy flips the fuck out, torches her wedding dress and every damn photo, and demands the tea! Fletcher's comeback? "Who gives a shit how we started, only where we are now!" BRO! That's peak gaslighting champ energy right there! 👑🤡
But hold up—it gets WAY FUCKING WORSE! MIL rolls in and drops the nuke: Megan's kid is Fletcher's spitting image and probs his spawn! Poppy's like "WTF?!" Fletcher swears "I didn't bang her!" But then—NO LIE—suddenly EVERYONE'S banging EVERYONE!

Joel's wife Marianne finds out and BEATS JAN'S ASS on Fletcher's porch! Full fists, blood flying, Fletcher just chills and goes "Cool, talk it out now" while blocking the Ring cam! 💥😂
Later Jan and Megan have a slap-fest at the old crib cuz new owners sicced the cops!
Oh yeah, Leon cheated on Jan... WITH MEGAN! Yeah, THAT skank who plowed both sons! Megan ran the whole fam like a messyrelay race!!
Endgame? Everyone's divorced, jailed, or both! And I'm like... did this author cram EVERY affair and ass-whooping into one book just so we'd pity Fletcher's "just one date and smooch" like "aww poor baby, at least he didn't knock her up or bang his bro's wife"?!

Why three stars tho? Cuz the soap opera chaos was SO unhinged I laughed my ass off! The beatdowns! The betrayals! New affair every chapter like a nonstop fuck parade! It sucked! It was sloppy! It was hilarious trash gold! 🤣💀

straight out soap opera type of drama, multiplied by 100 😅 some things were pretty stupid, mokay? I know it's fiction, but damn, I need to cleanse my eyes and mind, because of the stupid things I just read 😂 his entire family was trash ... they all needed therapy, anger management and a good doze of reality

Not my fav but I didn’t absolutely hate Fletcher like some of these guys. He does meet up with and kiss his ex right before he’s about to marry Poppy though. She only finds out years later when his parents let it slip. His whole family sucks.

The comic relief provided by some of the secondary characters was a delight. Love how karma showed up over and over through the plot.
This author has published some of their work on kindle but a vast majority can be only found on wattpad. GroveltoHEA says it all. Second chance romances. Some H cheat while others are just extremely foolish. There’s is the entire gambit of the genera. I’ll admit some are not my “cup of tea”. If I can’t root for both the main characters by the end the books likely lost my interest.
