This is the fourth book in the series. It can be read as a standalone, but for the best experience, I recommend reading the series in order. I thought this book was a great finale to the series! Harrison and Aurelia are the perfect match, both the baby of the family, overlooked and underestimated by their fathers and brothers. They see each other for the strong, successful people they can be and together they are a formidable team. I also liked the closing chapters that gave a follow up to the other brothers’ stories. I really enjoyed my time with the Westwood family! I received an advance review copy for free, and am leaving this review voluntarily.
You’re the youngest sibling in the family, so expecting to be the next one pressured to settle down. When the opposite happens, he is like they don’t feel he is capable of being part of the company? They meet at a client pitch, he is infatuated with her pitch, and their chemistry. They are both attracted to each other, develop a friendship and a bond. Yet leave it to their mothers who seem to have been at odds with each other, no one knowing why. Awesome story.
Ali Parker closes out the Westbrook Brothers series with a sharp, high-stakes finale in Holiday Husband, delivering a bold blend of corporate intrigue and sizzling, slow-burn romance. This isn't just a sweet holiday read; it’s a calculated power play disguised as a seasonal treat.
Harrison Westbrook, tired of being dismissed as the youngest brother despite his keen business acumen, needs to make a definitive statement in the acquisitions world. Enter Aurelia Van Alen, the fierce rival heiress and corporate powerhouse who has just walked away from her own family’s suffocating expectations. Their collision is electric, fueled by mutual respect and a dangerous shared ambition.
Their solution? A marriage of convenience, beautifully wrapped in a Christmas bow, designed to merge their strengths and force their warring families—the Westbrooks and the Van Alens—to finally take them seriously.
What makes this novel so compelling is watching Harrison and Aurelia navigate their purely transactional agreement as genuine, undeniable sparks ignite. The compatibility that starts in the boardroom—their strategic partnership, their perfectly matched drive—spills over into a fierce, passionate connection they never saw coming. Their romance is less a slow drift and more a gradual, inevitable explosion, heightened by the need to keep their growing affection a secret from their spectacularly feuding mothers.
Parker masterfully uses the decades-long family rivalry as the ultimate antagonist, creating layer upon layer of dramatic tension. You'll be furiously turning pages, desperate to see how this dynamic couple can possibly achieve their happily ever after without completely alienating their empires.
Holiday Husband is the perfect send-off for the Westbrooks, weaving in satisfying check-ins with the brothers we’ve loved while keeping Harrison and Aurelia’s journey front and center. If you love a story where the characters are as relentless in business as they are in their pursuit of love, and you crave a powerful ending to a beloved series, grab this one immediately. The surprise epilogue is the heartwarming, perfect kiss goodbye the Westbrook family deserved.
I received an ARC of this book and am sharing my honest opinion.
This review is for the entire series. Not just this book, I will put the same review on all four books.
MANY SPOILERS AHEAD
One year husband was the first and honestly my favourite. I ADORED Sterling and Laney. She was such a cool FMC, feisty, not a push over. And he started off aloof and became a Golden retriever / Dobermann husband for her. Sterling was also the one who wasn’t a huge playboy before Laney, which I loved.
Bad boy husband was my least favourite. He couldn’t communicate for sh*t and continued to be a man wh*re because he couldn’t tell her he loved her. He was just a coward. Fortunately it worked out and I liked Sadie and them together in the later books. But it’s no wonder she didn’t trust him given her experience with him and his reputation.
Playboy husband was my third favourite. I LOVED Maisie and Brody, they were super cool. She was a badass mum and really smart, I loved that. I think her keeping it from Callum that he was Brody’s dad for so long though was cruel. I do understand why she did it, but I’m not sure I could have been as forgiving as Callum. Although he did treat her terribly when he found out, but I could understand his reaction. He did really step up as Brody’s dad. He redeemed himself throughout the whole book. But again was a playbook and it’s no wonder she didn’t think he liked her given he DIDN’T COMMUNICATE, but neither did she.
Holiday husband was honestly a close second or even tied for favourite. Harrison was so emotionally mature and such a sweet guy and so supportive of Aurelia even before they got together. Aurelia was a badass and so smart. I was annoyed with her near the end but it was understandable. I’m sad I didn’t get to see a little snippet of them in New York.
Obviously the next series is going to be with Chicago Westwoods (the cousins) and the only sister Charlotte being the FMC with Trent, Sadie’s brother. Trent is a manwh*re as well, so I don’t know if I will love this one, but we’ll see.

This was a lovely ending to the Westbrook Brothers series. Harrison, the youngest of the brothers, is surprised when their father does NOT want him to get married right away like the rest of the boys were encouraged to do. Instead, he wants Harrison to enjoy his youth, and not to get tied down right away. This does not sit well with Harrison, who wants to make his mark in the Acquisitions regime. Harrison takes matters into his own hands, and does a deal with Aurelia, the only daughter of a rival business family. What starts out as business, turns quickly into a marriage scheme, where they decide that together, their families will be forced to take them seriously. These two are a powerhouse couple, who quickly figure out that the compatibility is in more than just the boardroom!!
I absolutely loved the slow burn of this romance, where it sneaks up on both of our main characters. But what I enjoyed even more, was that the author doesn't just forget about the characters from the previous three books, and weaves their romances into Harrison and Aurelia's storyline so beautifully, that you feel like you are another member of a very large and boisterous, growing family. Even after Harrison and Aurelia have their happily ever after, Ali doesn't stop there, and gives each of the brothers a beautiful end to their story lines.
I will be sad to see the Westwood family go...they were great fun both separately and together. But, knowing Ali, she has more stories up her sleeve, and I can't wait for the next one!
Harrison Westwood and Aurelia Van Alen have more than their trust funds in common. They both have three brothers who are established in the acquisitions industry, and they are hungry to blaze their own trail. Hence Aurelia resigns from her family business, starts a partnership with Harrison, and he proposes to her, ring and all, beuutifully tied up with a big red Christmas bow, except for the fact that their mothers hate each other. So they decide to keep their relationship on the down low until they develop a plan to bring their families together.
But the more they lean into each other, the more they both accept the fact that their relationship has moved beyond partner and friendship to full-blown romance, but the decades long feud is still healthy, and Harrison and Aurelia are at wit’s end. Will they find a way to HEA without alienating their respective potential in-laws, or will the older generation’s stubbornness prevail?
Only Ali Parker could dream up such a complicated predicament for our couple to undertake, with challenges coming at them left and right. I furiously turned the pages while rooting for Harrison and Aurelia who deserve the chance their other siblings had of finding their true love. I adore these two families, even when I was thoroughly disgusted with their behavior. If you are looking for a story that will keep you breathless, look no further than Holiday Husband with a surprise epilogue that will warm your heart in the coldest weather!
I received this book as an ARC reviewer and voluntarily offer my honest opinion.
This is the latest in the Billionaire Inheritance Arrangement Series featuring Westwood Brothers. It can be read as a standalone, but as characters from the other books make appearances in this one, for best experience I would suggest reading the books in order. This is Harrison’s story, the baby of the family! Harrison has started working at the family firm, and is fully expecting that he will be issued with an ultimatum, like his brothers before him, to find himself a wife and settle down. He is surprised, and a bit put out when everyone, from his parents to his brothers, tell him to relax, have some time, that’s there’s plenty of time for him to be serious in the future, that now is the time to enjoy his youth and freedom. Frustrated as he feels no one is taking him seriously Harrison decides to take matters into his own hands. Starting with a meeting with Aurelia Van Alen, after finding they were both competing for the same business deal. Harrison and Aurelia find they have similar issues with their families, can they make an arrangement that suits them both, and seals the deal? A lovely, slightly seasonal story which I received as an ARC. A thoroughly enjoyable read and at the end is a lovely roundup on the situations of all the other brothers.
Harrison is the last of the Westwood brothers that is still single and apparently his dad isn’t pushing for him to marry like he did his brothers. Harrison is ready to be taken seriously with work at the Westwood firm and he also is ready to settle down but no one takes him seriously. Aurelia Van Alen is hardworking woman and she is a very smart business woman the only problem is that her dad and brothers don’t see her that way. She is tired of being overlooked and wants to prove herself.
When her and Harrison go after the same deal they end up deciding to team up to make the deal happen. Well along the way they also decide to marry for strictly business purposes but soon find themselves falling for one another. The two families aren’t the best of friend at least where their moms are concerned. So how will this work out when they find out their kids are getting married?
I loved Harrison and Aurelia’s story. I loved how they joined forces to prove to their families that they are capable of running their own firm. The chemistry between them was spot on and I loved the ending especially the way we see how all of the Westwood men’s future is going. Job well done Ali.
I received an arc copy of this book and I am freely leaving my review.
Holiday Husband is the last book in the Westbrook Brothers series by Ali Parker. (Crocodile tears here!!) Harrison is the youngest of the brothers and figures he will beat his father's insistence that each of them start looking for a wife in their early 20's if they want to have a part in the family business once daddy retires. He meats Aurelia (who is the daughter of his moms (CC) biggest enemy and no one knows why) and is instantly taken with her and knows she is the ONE. They form a business deal including marriage. Needless to say that both mothers are adamantly opposed to any kind of reunion between these two. This love story will take you on all the emotions and you will NOT stop until you reach the last page. I love the fact that Ali gives each brother and their wives a chapter to let us know what they are up to in their lives. I also think that there is enough unsaid (Jameson and Sadie's yet to be born twins, Callum's new son, and the business venture in NYC with Harrison and Aurelia? How does that go?) to warrant another book to be the last, last book in the series. This is a MUST read!!!!
Family dynamics causes so many problems. You’d think those where money was no object would be fine but in this series of books the children certainly had to jump through hoops that their parents set. I did have to ask myself though who were the adults in this story, with both mothers were acting up. Aurelia and Harrison certainly knew what they wanted from the offset and as their business arrangement turned to love they were true to each other. Being the youngest of the Westwood children, Harrison had his work cut out in proving himself as a businessman. Additionally, Aurelia being the only daughter surrounded by brothers came from a family that thought her purpose was to have a good marriage and there was no need for her to work. Their journey was far from smooth though and with Aurelia’s mother giving her an ultimatum that it was either Harrison or her family which I thought was particularly brutal. Fortunately for Harrison he had the support of his brothers and their wives stepped up to help Aurelia. The story was an enjoyable read especially with the Westwood parents in this story not pushing for their son to find a wife!
This is part of the Billionaire Inheritance Arrangement Series but can be read as a standalone. You'll love Aurelia and Harrison's story and their chemistry is explosive. They just click together and their banter is fun. They're both from wealthy families with mother's who hate each other. Harrison's mother CC and Aurelia's mother Regina were best friends in high school, until they weren't. What's their secret from high school? Controlling parents and competitive businesses. This was a fun book to read as Ali never seems to disappoint. The story line with the fake marriage that became real was engaging and the book was hard to put down. Great, well developed characters who were likable. A great book with an HEA and no cliffhanger. Chapters and an epilogue that keep us up to date with the latest happenings from the other family members. I read a free arc from the author and voluntarily chose to write a review.

Hence Aurelia resigns from her family business, starts a partnership with Harrison, and he proposes to her, ring and all, beuutifully tied up with a big red Christmas bow, except for the fact that their mothers hate each other. Harrison Westwood is the baby of the family and the last to join the family business. Unlike his brothers, he is not forced to get married but instead he is encouraged to continue to spread his wings. Aurelia Van Allen is smart, however her whole family including her mother, father and brothers, thinks that she is working for fun until she gets married and joins her mother in the mind numbing charity work etc. When one of her deals is taken over by Harrison, they decide to joint forces and make it happen. They soon will realize that they work well together and Harrison recognizes her intelligence and experience unlike her own family. They will decide to start a journey together that will put them at odds with their families and what it entitles. I haven't read one of Ali's stories in a while but this is one of her best work. Thank You Ali for writing these amazing characters and include just enough angst to the story and a lot of spiciness.
As the baby of the family, Harrison watched each of his brothers get the “it’s time to get married” ultimatum from their dad. With each of them now happily hitched, he fully expected it to be his turn.
But his parents gave him a “you’re young, you have time before settling down” talk instead. It’s no surprise he found himself captivated by Aurelia, who was also often overlooked by her family. Harry and Aurelia made a great team, both in and out of the boardroom. Their relationship uncovered the source of an old family feud, one which threatened to destroy their relationship before it had a chance to get started.
This book provided the perfect end to this series, wrapping up each of the brothers’ story nicely, while giving a glance into the future, which I hope is reduced to writing one day because I really love these brothers and the women who make them better men.
Aurelia has grown weary of trying to show her family that she is an accomplished businesswoman and her only worth will not be based on who she marries. When Harrison offers her a marriage of convenience that will help them both professionally she agrees even if their families are estranged but developing feelings for him wasn’t part of the plan.
Harrison doesn’t feel his family offers what he can bring to their family business, so he is determined to prove them wrong. Teaming up with Aurelia seems like the solution to both their problems however it isn’t long before their business relationship feels very personal.
I really enjoyed seeing the relationship unfold between Aurelia and Harrison as despite the conflict between their families they saw each other for who they were and were willing to fight for what they want and each other.
A beautiful end Reviewed in the United States on November 16, 2025 Format: Kindle I hate that this is the last book in the series. Harrison and Aurelia’s story was a perfect ending to a great series. The love that began as “friends” quickly grew into a lot more. They were a united force to deal with as they depended on each other. The family dynamics led them to wanting to be their own people and not just part of a family. The love they shared eventually brought the families together and ended a family rivalry. The love scenes were especially intense!! Also loved seeing glimpses of Sterling, Jameson and Callum’s love stories. Praying there’s a next generation series coming.
Read the entire series if you haven’t already. You definitely won’t be disappointed.
Harrison might be my favorite Westwood brother. He thinks he is ready to settle down despite his parents not issuing the ultimatum like his older brothers. He wants to prove himself in the family business and met his perfect match when he crashed a meeting with a potential client. Despite their opposition in business, they decide they could help each other solve a problem. Cue the drama and a past that neither knew about throws a wrench in their plans. Would their families get on board or was this going to rip them apart before they even have a chance to begin?
If you’ve read any of this series, you do not want to miss out on this one! With some surprises at the end for each Westwood brother!
Holiday Husband, book four in the Billionaires Inheritance series follows Harrison Westwood and Aurelia Van Alen. Unlike his older brothers, Harrison isn’t being forced to marry, his father insisting that he live his youth without being tied down to a wife and family, of course, this doesn’t sit well with Harrison who wants the same things, and to make his own mark in the acquisitions market. So, when Harrison meets Aurelia, the daughter of the rival company, he offers her a business deal in the form of marriage. But as the pair work together to get their parents to end the rivalry and finally come together, they get more than they bargained for as real feelings begin to develop. Will it be a Merry Christmas for both of them? Or will their families keep them apart?
The romance was sweet and refreshing because the main characters actually communicated their way through problems. It's pretty low on angst and the stakes are low, so don't expect to be on the edge of your seat or want to slap main characters. They team up almost the entire way through which is a nice change from most cookie cutter romance. But her family, I realize in real life many people put up with families they don't like and karma doesn't always win. But girl needed to set some boundaries and at least one person in her family should have had their comeuppance for a truly happy ending. Especially her mother who is a manipulative piece of crap. I don't get her mother's motivations about the engagement at all - her actions throughout made zero sense.
Harrison and Aurelia captivate and draws you into this charming story. They come from rival families who are going after the same deal. To prove to his family that he is ready to step up he proposes a power move through an arranged marriage that is beneficial to both of their families. What starts off as an arrangement turns into so much more for Harrison and Aurelia. Will their marriage turn into one that is filled with happiness. This story is well written with inspiring characters and a narrative that had me connecting with them. I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book.
This was a perfect ending to the Westbrook Brothers series. I enjoyed all the books. The story stars Harrison, the youngest of the brothers and Aurelia. He’s taken back when his father doesn’t expect him to marry like his other brothers. Harrison is shocked that his dad expects him to just enjoy his singlehood. He wants to make his mark and is a bit upset he’s being treated differently. This leads to a deal with Aurelia. She’s the daughter of a rival business family. It’s starts out as a business deal but soon become more.
This is book 4 in the Billionaire Inheritance Arrangement series and sadly it is the last book in the Westwood Men. I Am Saddened to see it end. Harrison is the baby of the family when he meets Aurelia Van Alen who has been working just as hard to prove herself in father's company but gets pushed aside, but when they decide to team up and work together will sparks fly between them or will their mothers hatred towards each other destroy them . I absolutely loved this book and omg who doesn't love a christmas eve wedding? Absolutely fantastic book.
The stage is set for the last Westwood brother, Harrison, to get married. Problem? No pressure on Harrison to follow the edicts issued to the other brothers. He is feeling left out, but his father insists he is too young and should experience/enjoy life more before settling down. Then he sees Aura. Her problem is she is seen as the "girl" in her family and can't do (close deals) like her brothers do. Sounds like a match made in heaven. This book is the perfect ending for the Westwood Brothers Family. Ali Parker wraps up this story beautifully. Another Hit!!
This is such a brilliant read. The chemistry between Harrison and Aurelia is instant but both fight the connection between them and concentrate on working together. When they decide to work together on future projects they discuss marriage, a fake marriage. It isn't long before feelings change and they want future together but will their parents be happy about it. Loved reading how Harrison put Aurelia first. They were perfect together. Plenty of ups and downs and family getting in their way so can they get their hea. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
He and Aurelia might just have a different plan! Oh yeah! Loved this! An arranged marriage!
I could guess how that would turn out, but even so, I loved the journey!
It has been so much fun spending time with the Westwoods! I may just have to put these stories on my TBRx2 list and read them again, back-to-back! Why?
They're swoon-worthy, emotional, steamy, with amazing dialogue and characters!
What a great read and final instalment of the Westwood boys. Harrison and Aurelia captivate and draw you into their story. Feuding moms, nearly break them apart - but the sisters-in-law make Aurelia realise what she could miss. This book gives you laughter at the sassiness between them, tears and gasping at the end. This series was great, all the characters were interlinked and the conclusion at the end updating the reader on all the brothers was a really nice touch
Harrison and Aurelia come from rival families. They are both after the same deal. Instead of working against each other Harrison propose a deal to work together and a fake marriage. Their mothers is against them being together but his brothers and sisters in law step up and show Aurelia what she could miss. This book will have all the emotions running through you. Will this fake marriage turn real. This is an fantastic ending to the series. A must read.
A captivating story as the youngest Westwood son is taken aback when his father doesn't want him to marry straight away and wants him to enjoy his youth. He meets Aurélie, the daughter of a business rival. A deal is struck and they become a real powerful couple determined to prove themselves to their families and bring them together. A terrific love story full of emotion, steam and family dynamics.
i thought this was gonna be an enemies storyline, but it was. And it wasn't. Aurelia and Harrison start out as business rivals, but then they quickly realized they were better off becoming business partners. And they realized after a cold night that maybe the best thing is not just a business relationship but a marriage. Only thing is, their families have issue with that. This book was such a perfect way to end a series and kick off the holiday season!!
